Anyone?
Wish I could tell you. I've preordered the "charging system" back on May 1st. Now, I'm getting told that it could be shipped between June 6th - August Something. Googling showed some on sale from some other forums, but I can't tell you if it's safe or not. Meanwhile, you can either ride it out with Amazon, or check your cell provider to see if they're offering it as an accessory.
I would say Samsung's website, but it looks like they are on backorder.
The S4 uses the same charger as the Note 2 so I just ordered a couple of these: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BD6XTDK/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

yeah i got one from korea. its genuine samsung. works great.
I looked on eBay, ended up using my 50% off code from Samsung.com and paid $22 with shipping. I also bought a qi receiver from eBay for the meantime.

There's a few threads about the Ebay receivers already. They have pretty good info about them. Also, I have an Ebay receiver and pad and it works just fine.
So I've seen many threads concerning ebay+batteries = fake. I'd like to ask you guys where you get the not-so-fake batteries from (online). I've seen a couple of places that sell the (supposedly) original ones (A-Grade?) along with another listing for the fake ones which they call 'wholesale' or R-Grade (not sure what the R is for).
I want to know if there are any trusted sources to get an original battery. Tried calling the dealers in my country and they said that they don't issue phone 'parts' unless it's given for repairs.
so yeah,. where do you guys get your batteries from?

If you want to guarantee your battery is OEM than you need to buy it from either your local carrier store, Samsung, or a big box retailer like Best Buy. However, if you do not mind the extra bulk I cannot make a higher recommendation for a Zerolemon Battery/Case. I would link it, but I am a newer user and cannot post links. It is easy to find on Amazon and the price is great at $41.99.

Here is a review of the battery from this same forum.

I buy direct from Amazon. In my case amazon.ca.
I work at a busy cell/computer repair shop so we wind up ordering 10+ batteries out per device at a time since you never know when a dozen iphones may come in. We pull our parts from Mengtor and Global Direct Parts.
As far as personal opinion goes, Mengtor parts are generally junk for new(ish) phones. Until it's been out for a year, at least, we pass on any mengtor orders even if we save a decent amount simply because returns are highly frowned upon by us and customers (obviously, who wants to bring their phone back again?). However, After a year, or even two of parts being revised and worked on we migrate over from GDP to Mengtor since the warranty process for faulty parts we order goes through faster and they've worked out the kinks in their junk by then.
Global Direct Parts on the other hand, have never let me down. Sure we've ordered junk parts that are dead on arrival but for the most part they are our main supplier for all, excluding iphone 4/4s and prior iphones (due to well, being over a year old and the previous issues are taken care of).
The cost on GDP right now for you would be 22.89 for a battery on an S4 for Verizon (Here to link)
Our cost is about 15-18$ depending on if they are pushing stock for new orders to their warehouse or willing to hold onto it. Warranty process has always been excellent as well for when we get a bunk battery, or other part. Also, they generally offer OEM and aftermarket parts depending on which you want. The link goes to an OEM variant. Hope this helps!

OEM from Amazon I believe is good.
can't go wrong with OEM
Either amazon or preferably the Samsung store.
I bought ones of these, $8.75 & free 2 day shipping with Amazon Prime.

I've always had good experiences with Anker. They're also available on Amazon, and unlike several of the knockoffs, they guarantee NFC compatibility if they list it.
If u can find a way of shipping items from china's tmall to ur place, they do hv authentic batteries from samsung's factories in china, with the retail packaging and all. It is a cheap option if u can find a way to save on shipping.
If not, I would just get anker batteries as they are reliable.

How about the duration of "non original" batteries. A friend of mine has purchase a couple of them at Amazon and the duration is lower than the original.

I bought mine from Amazon and using some service to ship it to my country, Anker 7800mAh, to be specific. Works like a charm.
I just got an anker 2600mah battery from a local seller. Works great. Will see how long it lasts. My zerolemon lasted around 8 months.

U could find any online seller that has the real deal for a cheaper price if u know how to spot fakes. Otherwise, if u really have to get the samsung one, u gotta pay more to buy it off the official retail stores.
As much as I hate paying Samsung for their horribly overpriced accessories, batteries included, I did end up buying my spare battery from Samsung, but I waited until they had a 50% off accessories sale. I wasn't in a rush, so I just waited until a sale came up. Call it a compromise.
I buy an original samsung battery from aliexpress.com
So I bought a Nexus 5 a few months ago but it was imported from the UK with a UK charger with an adapter. A couple of days ago I saw a supposibly genuine LG chager, so I decided to buy it.
The build quality seems to be really close (if not the same) as the UK one, and it came wrapped in nice plastic much how the UK one was.
However, I've seen a lot of info about fake chargers so I thought I could ask here if this is legit or not. I believe this specifically is not from a Nexus 5 (probably LG G2?). The model listed is MCS-04BR. I attached a picture of the back info of the adapter (EU plug).
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Mine looks exactly like that one. Bought from Amazon (US).
Model is MCS-01ER and charge speed is 1.2A. Manufacturer is the same.

This one says 1.8A though, which I kind'a find interesting.
You bought the phone from Amazon or just a charger? (I'm interested in information from people that have out-the-box EU charger)

I bought the phone from Amazon, the charger I'm talking about is the one that came with it
I just left the Samsung website and placed my order for a second charger. They now have them in stock at $39.99 free shipping.
I ordered 2 on the 17th and they still haven't shipped......
If you mean type EP-YO760B, this one is available in Europe on stock from S3 sale start, also from End of November 2016, price is about 40 $ incl. all taxes.
Some trivia for those with seiko kinetic watches, the samsung charger charges these as well lol
Finally got my wireless chargers today. Neither one came with the usb cable. Says it does. I called and complained. They said they would escalate it and get them to me as quick as possible. Samsung has really been sucking ass lately.
30 minutes

None of the "S3" chargers on Amazon appear to actually be S3 chargers. I received one today that is labeled S3 and it's actually a bit smaller than an S2 charger I have - it's going back.

Thanks for the heads up! Would this be the same for this one even though it looks like it is in an original packaging and says genuine?

Hi,
I was experiencing random reboots, frequently (not always) into a boot loop that would not stop unless I pulled the battery. It would happen without any clear cause but seemed to happen most when I was actively using the phone (happened occasionally when phone in standby but far less)
I tried different things to fix it, went back to stock ROM, reformatted SD, ran phone with no SD card, none of which helped - then I noticed the bootloop would stop without pulling the battery if I plugged the phone into USB power. This made me think of a power supply issue.
Replacing the battery seems to have completely resolved the problem (one week now with no random reboots). My old battery was purchased less than a year ago (bought April 2016, manufactured December 2015) but when compared to the new battery (manufactured October 2016) it has a slight bulge - both sides of the new battery sit completely flat with all four corners in contact with a flat table top whilst one side of the old battery rocks slightly on the bulge never more than two corners touching the flat surface.
TL,DR : If you're experiencing random reboots it might be the battery, even if your battery isn't that old - try replacing it.
Official batteries are cheap on Amazon (go with one sold by Amazon to avoid fakes and "refurbished" units)

To what, the battery on Amazon? It's not hard to find...
Fine, here you go:
Amazon UK, also here
Amazon US also alternate listing here (need to select "USED*&*NEW*(12)*FROM*$..." link to find the "sold by Amazon.com" listing)
Amazon DE (just change the .de in the URL for other countries in Europe e.g .fr, .it, .es etc)
There are multiple listings for the battery and confusingly "dispatched from and sold by Amazon" prices vary from listing to listing

You need to click on the "USED*&*NEW*(12)*FROM*$9.83 + FREE Shipping" link and find the one sold directly by amazon.com ($17.99) it's actually cheaper in the second Amazon.com listing I linked ($13.30)
Amazon's marketplace is a mess, Amazon promote sales from third parties over their own product when the marketplace sellers are cheaper. Unfortunately for stuff like batteries often the only reason they are cheaper is that they are selling fakes. This pollutes the reviews because reviews for all the marketplace sellers and Amazon's own stock are a mixed together.
Ordering from Amazon's own stock usually ensures you get a genuine item.

They do but I don't think they mix "Amazon.com" stock with stock they hold on behalf of marketplace sellers.
Third party stock is often mixed together though which means you can never be sure of what you will receive when ordering from marketplace sellers - look in a forum for Amazon marketplace sellers sometime - lots of reputable dealers who've shipped genuine new items to Amazon complaining about their stock being mixed up with fakes or damaged items from scam artist sellers.
