Font installer bootloop - Sony Xperia Miro, Tipo (Dual), J, E

This is the font installer root. The question is, why the default, only 4 is ticked? Yes, only 3 are shown in pic, scroll and youll see it. Can I pick more? Or why does it cause bootloops for xperia e single? Or do I need to do something about metadata inside those .ttf files? For tipo it works fine, until I ticked everything inside, get the font, and reboot then stuck in bootloop. Is it so different (ics vs jb) .ttf metadata?
Sent from My Awesome Paradox ST21i

i guess it's not Font Installer... see attached pic that it is
is it Font Changer?
Font Installer won't make bootloop, it smart app that will choose properly which fonts to be changed...
it's works on ICS & JB

This is the same app. If you use this on xperia e, it will reboot and give you bootloop. You see its that small because of dpi modding (from my tipo).

nothing tricky...
just open Font Installer from ROM Toolbox Pro,
choose your font (i've got fonts collection, then i don't have to enabled my internet/ offline)
select Install,
doesn't confirm backup (i've already backed up whole fonts and zip it as flashable.zip )
then i see its installation process does replace for 5 fonts
confirm reboot,
voila.... that's it

[ST21i] My observations about Gimlo ROM v2.0

Welcome to all users. I'm reading xda-developers since severals months but without registering on this forum.
Recently I've installed Gimlo ROM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2123835) on my Tipo (ST21i).
Then I've found some problems. So I've decided to register.
Therefore I've found following problems:
1. Walkman from Xperia Go by djedjy doesn't work on my Tipo.
It closes with error "Device has stopped". But when I renamed or moved /system/app/SemcDlna.apk into another location and reboot the phone then Walkman works. Of course then Settings -> More... -> Media server settings doesn't work.
I've found that NXT framework installs SemcDlna.apk 3'426'569 bytes and Walkman should installs SemcDlna.apk 4'883'078 bytes (least such file is located in /gimlo/stock/semc_walkman_xgo/system/app). I noted that even after 2, 3 or more phone restarts still exists /system/app/SemcDlna.apk 3'426'569 bytes long. When I change it with proper file /gimlo/stock/semc_walkman_xgo/system/app/SemcDlna.apk 4'883'078 bytes long then Walkman started working.
2. Gallery "Xperia Z by DavidMKD" doesn't work on my Xperia Tipo - causes error "Gallery has stopped".
I've found that it additionally installs SemcPhotoEditor.apk. When I renamed or moved /system/app/SemcPhotoEditor.apk (and of course reboot the phone) then Gallery started working.
But Gallery by aeron and Pandemic work fine with SemcPhotoEditor.apk. Everything works fine - I even could edit photos.
I would like the developer of Gimlo checks my observations. Maybe I'm wrong but changes I've done helped to my Tipo.
Therefore I would like to thanks @Yokav for its good work.
I complete my previous post with next observations.
3. SmallApps status bar (at bottom) doesn't remember its settings after restart the phone. For example I remove Small Notes or add Unit Converter. Until I'll restart my phone it's ok. But after I'll restart my phone my changes disappeared - on status bar there are again Calculator, Timer, Notes and Recorder. It's frustrating.
4. There are problems with some fonts.
I tried Exo fonts: they are nice and elegant. But sometimes Exo fonts display weird characters. For example names under some icons in launcher are shifted to the right and cutted off. In contrast with default fonts names under icons are wrapped in second line.
I also tried Gimlo fonts: they are very beautiful and elegant too. But they are too small. Even if I changed fonts size to Large (in system Settings).
So I use Olney for now.

[Q] Live Wallpaper Picker had stopped

Hello, I have Sony Xperia C. After rooting it to uninstall app that I didnt need, I unknowingly uninstalled Live Wallpaper Picker. Even after installing the apk file, I get an error that unfortunately Live Wallpaper Picker has stopped. Maybe its to do with the fact that my android version is 4.2.2, and the apk file is 4.0.4. Even after installing the compatible version, the app doesnt install at all. Please help
You may need to restore your stock firmware to fix it now... If you decide to go that route, Here's a guide on that,
> Legacy & Low Activity Devices > Sony Xperia C > Xperia C General > [HOW TO] Install/Restore Stock Android System on any Xperia Device
?

Great! This worked like a charm, thank you so much. I have rooted my phone to uninstall a few preinstalled apps. Each tie I start a new app I get a notification of root access granted. How can I stop that because its annoying and honestly worrying as if I have messed up something. Can you tell me what are the benefits of a rooted phone and its disadvantages? Plus how can I unroot it and will it be as if it was never rooted? Thank you so much

You will get the option on unrooting your device in the same app "Framaroot"
Advantages :
You can control your system as you want
You can do anything with your stock apps, themes, wallpapers, tones etc.,
You can now install a Custom ROM also,
etc. So many Advantages
Disadvantages :
You warranty in gone
Try THIS ROM by me. it's good It will transform your device's interface into Android 4.4.4 KitKat Interface.
Don's say just click the Thanks Button.
Thats great, thanks. Can I also update my android to kitkat?

Upgrading Actual OS to KitKat is not possible because there is no official update available and also we cannot flash custom kernel due to locked bootloader of Xperia C. We can only upgrade our User Interface to KitKat. I am also making an Android 5.0.1 Custom ROM for Xperia C and it will be uploaded on XDA this month only.
Thanks. Is it normal that after rooting, some apps such as clean master show notification of root access denied sometimes?
walkman doesnt recognize music after handset is at standby
Hi again. I have sony xperia c and I think after rooting it I have created a problem. The walkman app which is in-built doesnt detect music when the handset is used after standby. I keep rebooting but after a few minutes its the same. I have tried media scanner, clearing data in walkman and media storage but its the same. Please help. Did I destroy my phone?:crying:
Help please, my walkman app stops detecting music. Is it possible that these glitches are occurring due to the live wallpaper picker app I installed? Just a crazy thought :crying:

You can find the Album App attached below. Place this in your system>>app folder using Root Explorer and give the permission as "RW-R--R--" and reboot your phone.
Ok, do i need to install the app after placing there or just simply place the file there?
Ok, its still not working, when i want to set a picture as wallpaper it doesnt show the cropping mode, neither does it set the lock screen
Also i just uniinstalled the quickpic app, so that setting wallpaper finds its first preference in album, but when i did try it said that com.sonyericsson.album has stopped, and it says the album has stopped.
Hello, help please, reply please

I followed the instuctions, but I didn't get good result. When deleting the same name apks, I also deleted android live wallpapers by a mistake. Maybe because of these I didn't get successful result, but can you please help?

Help! Mate 8 theme not working after ROM wipe and install

Hi
I have installed c636b121 stock rom after unlocking bootloader and installing twrp recovery.
But I did complete wipe including all internal storage, sys and caches.
The new ROM is working fine but I lost the theme functionality.
I have only stock android icons ,no default huawei gold or specturm or ink themes and applying new theme is not woking. Also lost health app.
But mainly I need the themes back. I downloaded many hwt files and none working. When I apply theme it says applied successfully but nothing happens. Even font not getting applied.
I tried installing different Roms via twrp and software upgrade by *#*#2846579#*#* and also by pressing volume +,- and power. Nothing fix the issue even though ROM get installed successfully
Please help.!!!!!!. I will attach he screenshots shortly

Using srk utilities to restore theme wont wipe any data.
It will just load the defaut theme files in /data/hw_init/themes but you need root
And i dont know what you mean by notification to wake up phone. Where can i check that
hi
i have same problem , now i downloading the tool i hope can fix my problem
=> notification to wake up phone means "secreen lock & password \ other \ notification turn on screen" is missing , can tool fix this ??
I am using NXT L29C900B180 is there a way to fix themes without root? I am using the stock rom and didn't make any root before it just the themes is working with only the default ones but doesn't show downloadable themes like it used to be.
