Looking for a Case with a Belt Clip - Galaxy S 4 Accessories

I am looking for a decent case for the S4 that also has a belt clip so it can *obviously* be worn on a belt...
A 2 part case would be better (a separate case and belt attachment) so it can also be kept in a pocket without too much bulk
Only one I really know about is the Otterbox Defender.
Any other suggestions?

I bought this one. It's slim and solid. you have to depress the buttons to snap in on, but it fits really snug. zero wiggle. the belt clip and the kickstand are built solid. $10 is a steal.

Platinum series with holster from best buy. Same as exact product as seido

Seems like there should be more cases with clips for the S4 available....

Get yourself any case you want and then pick up a holster. I am using the SGP Slim Armor with a leather holster I found at Staples. Fits perfectly. They also have a vertical case if you prefer that.

I have a BALLISTIC on a Note 2 and it's bomb proof and a great fit. That or the Otterbox, with both I'd dump the inbuilt screen protector and use a tempered glass one instead.

TPU vs SoftGel vs Silicone

I'm looking for a case for my Galaxy S but can't seems to get a descent review for the different materials used...
Wich ones has the better grip? Is the better Shock Resistant? Shows spots the most (finger marks)?
Sad to see no reply, I'd be curious as well.
I use case-mate tough case btw.
Hi, I prefer gel. It got a better grip and good shock absorbtion. Silicon has a better "touching"...
But leather is the best!

TPU. I have a Hybrid TPU case, a T-mobile Gel case, and the Samsung OEM silicone case.
The Samsung silicone case is too soft/slimsy, so it has a tendency to slip off when you are pull it out of your pocket. This case is pretty thin, so it doesn't add a lot of bulk, but tha also means it probably doesn't offer much shock protection and the area in the middle of the bezel slips off very easily.
The T-mobile gel case is very good. I just didn't like the way it looked. The case is rigid enough that the phone will not slip out and soft and thick enough to provide decent shock protection. Only an Otterbox or Case-mate Tough Case would probably offer more protection. Dust is also a problem with these kinds of cases.
The Hybrid TPU case I have adds very little bulk, is rigid so it doesn't slip off on accident, and doesn't have issues with dust clinging to it like a magnet. The only drawback is it doesn't offer as much shock protection as a gel or silcone case (probably more than the Samsung silicone case though). I think it's a good compromise.

Review: Ringke Fusion replica and Capdase soft tpu (Photos included)

So, I've purchased two new cases from Taobao.com and one of them is the Ringke Fusion look-a-like.

(please forgive my poor photography skill)
Unfortunately I do not have the original Ringke Fusion case as comparison. In the packaging, it also contains a free back protector for the plastic back. Like any other clear plastic, it's a finger print magnet.
Capdase slim tpu case:
-
Overall, I think that the Fusion replica feels extremely well built. It does not add much bulk at all (can be compared to S-Line TPU's width). The back is easily scratched so I've put the protector on but it made the back very smooth. The Capdase slim tpu is surprisingly slim and soft. The overall feel is pretty good too.
I think that I like the both of them a lot more compared to the other cases I own (Replica bumper, S-Line TPU and Nillkin Slim Case). Nillkin is pretty good but it does not cover the top and bottom properly which actually caused a few tiny scratches on the chrome rim and the rubberish part on top.
Nice review! I really like the look of the 2nd case. Could you take some pictures of it on the Nexus 4?

Hey, I've updated the original post with the pictures you wanted!
@jiayit: You will be surprised with the quality and build of this cheap replica! But still, the back seems to get scratched easily.
Nice review on the Ringke replica, but tbh that Capdase Soft Jacket really looks good.
It seems thinner than the usual TPU cases at 0.8mm. Can you confirm that?
How do you measure the 0.8mm? Is it on the sides?
With the capdase tpu, its total width is 7cm. It's slimmer than the s-line tpu (7.3cm).

Sorry, I haven't been clearer. I meant the material thickness at the cut-outs.
Usually it's something around 0.8mm and the thinnest TPU cases for the Galaxy S3 or
iPhone are around 0.3mm. From the looks it does seem to be slimmer than Diztronic or Cruzerlite TPU cases.
Ah I see. It's around 1mm calculated by subtracting the total width of case + phone and the phone (70mm - 68.3mm/2). I do not have any other measuring tool other than a common metric ruler.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
are these holes at the hardkeys places? (power, vol up, down)
No, the fusion replica doesn't have any cut outs for the volume buttons. But it's pretty easy to press them.

[VIDEO] Spigen Argos Genuine Leather Case for the Samsung Galaxy S4

This is only the second leather case for the Samsung Galaxy S4 that I've looked at. The first one was the Jison Executive Folio case. That was a premium leather case which set the benchmark for others to follow. At $50.00 it was also one of the most expensive cases I've seen so far*. This Spigen case is genuine leather and handcrafted just like the Jison. It retails for only $37.99. This price puts it closer to most mid level protection cases like the Trident Aegis Series and Otterbox Commuter case. Its design closely resembles the Jison Fashion Flip Case. However that is only available in leatherette vs genuine leather.
I purchased this case because I genuinely enjoyed having the Spigen Argos case for the Galaxy S3. The look is completely different from a TPU or active life style case. This is something you expect business executives or Hollywood stars to have vs the rugged outdoorsman. This belongs in my Audi vs my old, modified FJ Crusier.
For daily use it works fine. It protects all sides / corners of the device. Of course you have to have the flip cover closed for the screen not to touch if you lay it face down. Well correction. If you don't have a QI receiver that makes the backdoor bulge a little and a glass screen protector, it might not touch when face down and the cover flipped open. I'm including the pictures below to show you one of the things I didn't like about the S3 Argos. It did leave one corner exposed. You won't find this in the S4 Argos.

Spigen does note on their site that if you use this with a Jellybean button or Aluminum button the flip cover will probably press down on it. Either don't use them with this product or use them in conjunction with their Glas screen protectors. The added layer will keep the buttons recessed a bit.
If you were wondering how the phone is held in or the flip top stays put.... Simple friction. Don't worry about the soft case damaging the surface of the device though. That is unlikely.
vs the Jison...?
Well I think Jison does a better job at rolling the leather around the edges and the grain of the leather makes it appear more authentic. The price on the Spigen is better for the mainstream public and the case definitely has no huge flaws. I would purchase it again in a heartbeat.

Slim S6 case with the best side grip?

I am currently using a Spigen Neo Hybrid for my S6 and it is a little bit too slippery for me. I was wondering if you guys had an recommendations on a slim case with good grip. I've tried the Body Glove Satin on a Moto G and it felt pretty good. Also thinking about the Tudia Ultra Slim Lite and Diztronic Full Matte. I don't like the look of the Candyshell Grip. It also must have good camera protection. That is another reason I am kind of leery about my Neo Hybrid. Any ideas?

The problem with these Cristal clear cases is that the tpu part will get yellow after 2-3 months and will look really ugly.

How is the button feel on that Spigen case? I've had clear cases before and they always get dust underneath them around the camera area making them look not so great.

Most cases I've owned always tend to be dust magnets, this isn't much different...though it is early days it seems better than most.
I got a slim Armor case recently.
Your case looks great, maybe you can try an armor case, but it may not be slim.

I use the ringke fusion. Very slim and very non slip

Ultra Super Dupper Slim Cases

I'm in the quest of finding a the most ultra slim case for our Edge+.
So far, I've seen the following:
Ringke Fusion
Spigen Ultra-Thin
i-Blaston Halo Series
Has anyone found anything else that's ultra slim?
The thinnest most minimal case I have is the Samsung protective cover. Other than the edges, and the clear back, there is very little protection.

I picked up the black silicone case at the Verizon (corporate) store for $19.99. I've used these before (Note 4) and this one feels like TPU rather than silicone. I like it. Closest thing would be an Incipio (not feather or dual pro) or even Diztronic. This one is quite thin. I do like the ring around the camera on the Diztronic though. (I have the S6 edge version of that one, have not heard of an ETA for E6+ or Note 5 yet)
thx for share, looks good!

+1. Have this badboy on since day one. Now I'm waiting for a better screen protector to come in, other then the Skinomi one which I hate the rubbery feeling. My Spigen curved crystal sp should be in tomorrow
I too have the Spigen ultra thin case.I got for 10 dollars in amazon where on Spigen it costs 20 dollars .It's the best.
What do you think about this solution?

I got the clear Spigen ultra thin. Very happy with the grip, and I dropped the phone for the first time yesterday with no damage incurred. Only con is that the left side of the case is a bit "floppy", it's not very tight against the side. Not sure if this is a defect or if they're all like this.
I got the clear Ringke FUSION case and like it a lot. Couldn't be happier.
i have put in an order for the Spigen Neo Hybrid Carbon
Its doesn't half look sexy, now it may not be 'Ultra thin' but its a very simple case, and it isn't adding the earth to the phone itself.
And i believe I am the authority on thinness after walking around happily for 2 years with 3 different HTC Universals (Brilliant phone for University I might add)
