Problem Cooking Custom Rom

I tried many guides to cook a custom rom but having a big problem that I can't solve it
Every time I can cook the rom successfully and I flash it via CWM It shows that it has completed flashing but nothing happens to phone
I mean that there's no change as I haven't flashed any rom
I don't know where's the problem I used a stock RFS rom as a base to edit and tried the stock kernel once and CM kernel in another try.
I tried meta-inf and updater script from cm rom and many custom and stock roms but nothing happens and still facing error during flashing or no change after flashing
Please help me and thanks in.advance

kernel and meta-inf of any custom rom u have .. .!! But it should be of GB based rom .. feras told me so ..

move signed_velvet-voicereco.apk to /system/app,
and install,
let me know,

I just do the same... After doing that.. The new apk file is installed correctly.. But when i open search app, my phone get hanged and switch off!!

I tried the M7 version and it works, but there are a lot of FC. Anyone tried it for our Royale?

try some other versions !!
but first remove the mod....
and i cant test in galaxy r,sry fr dat ..

Hi guys i have version 7, it works fine on my SGR, but some time acts like mad, just takes ages saying initialising,
remember this is the ported one, so dont expect 100% performance....
i have no problem with this.
i have tried this a month ago, and now i checked,
i have this google now online version 14mb, but the post has been recently updated and its only 4mb,
so i think you guys are having FC problem....

i just flashed zip file from cwm....and done....i have google now...

And I am using online version,
Offline won't work perfectly.

I donno who removed what from dropbox, but here are the reqd files for google now.
install from cwm
1. base - http://www.mediafire.com/?g55mv3df79s6rez
2. update - http://www.mediafire.com/?z4zq3pvqo3vai4y
just install the 1st and use it once, then again install 2nd.

Check if it the cwm flashable zip or the installable Busybox script that u have downloaded..

1.root your android
2.Backup
3.install busybox
4.install Script manager
5.download the latest v6supercharger,and save it on your SD Card
6.Open Script manager,and click "browse as root" and find your v6supercharger in your SD Card
7.Press your V6supercharger,and click SU (the super user icon),and click run
8.in there you will get the option,first you choose 1(fast)
9.and then you will to much option 1-21,for restart choose 16

sorry iam a noob. can u tell me in depth wat is this v6 supercharger? iam on codename android 3.6.0 by lolation. and running virrut kernel.

i too have same ddlf2..first i too was bit confused...then i used v6 update 9 RC10 from this link.....http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=18703418&postcount=5021............just download it, use script manager and click browse as root.....then go and locate that v6 file...then select SU and click run.....thats it u have sucessfully ran that script.........it worked for me...just try it.....

Thanks...I already ran update 9 rc 11..it ran flawlessly on the latest busybox..m now my phone literally flies...its so fast

Dude, will you plz explain how u did this. I always stuck on cyanogen boot logo after running script and rebbot step.
I know there is a thread for the same....but I tried by that method (I guess I have done correctly ) But after rebooting it always stucks on boot logo. Then I had to flash the ROM again without wiping data.
plz provide step by step method.

Is it possible to install stock rom as a flashale zip in CWM,or to backup it?(I understood it is a guide to how to covert rfs file to ext4)

you can make a custom rom from it
all you need to do is extract system.rfs from our stock rom from which you will get the system folder
meta inf of stock based rom
and boot.img from stock rom
you can then zip them to make a custom rom

Don't know,I didn't tried but I used kernel from creed not stock kernel but the wi-fi doesn't worked.

weird wifi should work
try using andro-id kernel

yeah you can backup it via cwm like normal custom rom
to use link2sd you will have to add root and init.d scripts ( busybox)
you can do that from dsixda kitchen

I can't make custom ROM. I extract .zip ddkt1, and after I extract .md5 with 7zip, after system.rfs and csc.rfs with MagicISO. I select System, boot.img and metainfo, after Add to archive, select .zip, OK and make .zip ROM.
When I tried flash it, it aborted.
Please precise tutorial haw to make custom ROM of stock ROM.

Where you are? How to get META-INFand init.d scripts?
Can some make it and upload it? Kitchen is is complicated for me. I am older man.

Man I can't understand what you want.Let me tell you how I did it.
So...1.Create a folder called Stock Rom(for example)
2.Extract system.rfs and put all files in a folder named system,and move it in Stock Rom folder
2.Get META-INF from Creed(or any stock based rom) and put in Stock Rom folder
3.Take boot.img from Creed (or any stock based rom) and put it in Stock Rom folder
4.Add Stock Rom folder in an achive with .zip extension using winrar and flash
5.Enjoy

For .rfs file I extract .tar.md5 with 7zip, and I have 1 error.
I can't make it. Please upload Stock ROM of ddkt1, META-INF and boot.img of creed.

That error doesn't matter ,if you succesful to make it with wi-fi work give me a PM

go into cwm (dont use the buggy cwm 5.x)
and flash the zip file...

Also it has been 100% tested by me on tab3 7" and have fixed some bootloops now...
