THE TIME HAS COME !
ZeroLemon and their Official Distributor Bastexwireless has just released the "ZeroLemon Samsung Galaxy S4 7500mAh Extended Battery + Free Black/White Extended TPU Full Edge Protection Case" !!!
The battery size for the S4 is 7500 mAh ! (NFC is included!)

White:

Black @ Ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=111101609805
It also looks like they have some normal sized 3000 mAh battery's coming as well ! (Unfortunatley NFC is not included)

Enjoy !
Nice I can't wait to order 7500. Shocked they would do a 3000 without NFC but oh well. I would have liked to see a 4000 with NFC with a tpu case. That would be barely thicker than stock, if they build the battery so it overlaps.
Either I will soon be buying.

Good god 7500mah, now that big boy will sure last thru anything thru the day.
Can't wait till the 3k mah is available. Would love to see peoples results with that battery . I'm almost sure I'd be completely satisfied with it as the phone I came from (gn2) had a 3100mah battery and this phone seems to do much better with what it has on just a 2600mah battery.
All I really want is a battery that will last me about 15hrs everyday with 6hrs screen time and id be in love with this phone.

So the 3000 mah one is supposed to fit with the stock cover? Wow if that's the case, sign me up. I don't use NFC

The same way every other battery is made? It is more expensive to produce so companies stick to a reasonable size. Same reason as, why doesn't the s4 have 8gb of ram? They have the capability to make it the same physical size as the 2gb chip, why not use it?

Very happy this is on its way. Have a friend using the high-capacity ZL battery on his SGS3 and he cannot kill that thing. Be prepared for 24+ hours of time away from the charger.
Going to add this to my wish list right meow.
Adding 400mAh to battery costs pennies in manufacturing. It comes down to physical form factor.

Excuse the ignorance but how/ why wouldn't the NFC not work due to the battery on one but not the other?

I dunno maybe because theyre squeezing an extra 400mah into the battery keeping it the same size as stock?

Yeah. Something tells me that from an engineering standpoint, htc would've squeezed more in if possible.

Is rather date a chick with herpes and aids.
There is another 3500mah battery with door from a reputable hong kong seller on ebay for $15. In my experience with these cheapo batteries with the incredible, most likely this battery will be around an actual 2300-2600mah, which is still not bad. These batteries vary greatly in quality, but they can be very good.
I bought a 2700mah battery from this guy for the incredible, and it lasted just as long as my HTC extended battery. I then bought another 3500mah one, and that lasted a little less than the 2700mah one.
So yeah I bought this and will give it a shot. lol

What mAH rating does it show when its in the phone? Battery monitor widget will show if you need an app.
The battery monitor widget can't read it right. Still says 1350mah, but my battery is 13 hours in and only at 61% using juicedefender, mild to medium use. Lasting just as long as my official extended battery so far.

They seem to be the same exact battery, just someone got wise and decided to put brand name on it and double the price lol. Of course I've only had one to test but it scored nearly identical with one of my Generic fatt batts.
There seem to be stronger contenders from both flavors (Generic or Hyperion). One one hand there's word of mouth (Hyperion) and one the other there's actual testing (Generic) but if people could send me some *preferably newer* Hyperions, then we can let the data tell us the answer we're looking for
What I REALLY want to test is a Seidio because I'm betting it will perform similarly and I just want to show people how bad of an investment they are.

I don't have the highest of hopes for it personally (capacity wise) but I believe it'd fit just fine since the OEM Epic Touch battery fits our phone. The Epic 4G's batteries are just a smidge longer/thinner and the Epic Touchs are a little thicker/shorter so maybe our OEMs may not fit there phones but if the 3rd parties match the OEM Epic Touch size dimensions I don't see how it wouldn't fit a regular Epic 4G.

So im looking for a spare battery to use, what would you guys recommend? I read some good reviews about the anker battery but i dont like how its bigger and it makes the back bulge. Ive seen some ebay OEM batteries for a good price and also found these for extremely cheap http://www.ebay.com/itm/3-x-3000mAh..._Cell_Phone_PDA_Batteries&hash=item51aae2b2ed
Now i know these probably wont last as long as the oem battery but my question is is there any downside or long term damage that can occur to the phone itself by using these sub par batteries?
I'm also in the market for spare batteries + wall charger.. I had 3 for my old HTC Incredible, and it was an absolute luxury. However, I had to try 2 or 3 different companies before I found some that didn't lose their capacity

99% of the batteries on ebay seem to come from China/Hong Kong and these come from nanuet ny.
I don't know why I mention this but it did play a part in my deciding on these
If they suck, I'll have wasted $11 and I'll go ahead and order the onite or anker batteries
I'll let everyone know after I receive them
I bought the ones off of OP's link to Ebay as well. I'll post with impressions once I get them in. 3 batteries and a wall charger for $12 is nearly too good to be true... but I'm only out $12. We'll see.

Yea the Onite blow away every aftermarket battery I've ever tried, and it get better results than I do with the factory battery, like I said can't really go wrong with them

yea i saw it, but also i was thinking you could be a little biased since you've been a tester for them for a while
Not at all,..if they sucked I would say so as a beta tester that's what your suppose to do if, they send you a product test and you just lie about it, what's the point really? ..I don't take sides and I'm not getting paid to post positive reviews ,I got a battery, tested it, posted the screen shots,..I am in NO way endorsed by them lol.. just read other reviews or ask someone who has the same battery how they like it,.. Anker and all those other companies make good batteries also,...certainly a LOT better the trash you're gonna find on eBay,(which I have 4 from past phones , 2 which don't even work, the other 2 are 4500mah extended batteries that barely last 5 hours)

I went with a oem battery, haven't seen anything else out there yet that really attracts me (either sketchy vendors or lack nfc)

Thanks for this thread because I need to purchase a backup or two (just to be safe). I seen these on Amazon and was wondering if anyone else has purchased them and their views on the Anker line. Thanks in advance.

So I got around test 3 batteries I got from Onite. I spent the past 3 weeks using the batteries.
Onite 2600mah (44.4 grams), Onite 2600mah with NFC (46.4 grams) , Onite 5200mah (82 grams)
Overall, both 2600mah batteries last as long as the Original Samsung battery. I think these batteries are worth their price.
The 5200mah battery run time I observed is at least double the standard battery.
NFC works like it should with the Onite version.
Do these batteries create any bulge? Are they the same size as the original one? If yes, then i'm ready to ditch Anker.

Actually since you asked, I'll pull my gauge and measure them for you. I don't really notice it, but it could be different depending on everyone's perspective.
Since you have both NFC and non-NFC - how do you tell them apart? I see nothing different between the two.

If you look closely, you could actually see the NFC pad inside through the white sticker. Otherwise they do look very similar.

Thanks for the review. I am going to get the nfc capable one.
Onite did a good job
It works well indeed.
Both 2600mah and 5200mah.
I heard of that they will release 7800mah witn NFC.
Have you got it?
I was told that the 7800mah is going to be released in 1 week. If I manage to get it. I'll update this post.
they cancelled it
I was told that they cancelled the plan to release 7800mAh due to some problem.
Too high capacity is not safe for the cellphone.
5200mAh is enough for S4 to keep on 2 days.
I have been running the 5200 for a month awesome battery.
