My galerry and music player don't show the pictures/music very often. Only after reboot. It's very frustrating.
How can i solve this problem?

Try to clear data and cache at Settings>Apps>All
Clear Gallery And Music Player Cache And Data,Won't erase your pictures or videos or songs...

same problem with me.
Try to flash stock ROM again !
I think flashing rom again and never connectin ur phone to pc using mass storage mode will help u
I also had same prblm but after i stopped connecting sd card from mobile this prblm never showed up again i hope this works for u too
If u want to connect using mtp u can do but it is very slow so i recommend using a card reader

Hi Folks,
This is a strangest strange problem "Android System ain't recognizing new Music and Photos folders"
I've created a couple of new folders one for music and other for photos.
Looks like android system core isn't scanning these newly added folders
What am I looking for? Solution (A new core 'd resolve the issue not sure)
Currently I'm using
PowerAMP as ma music app-- PoweAMP app relies on the android sys to maintain the music library so I can't see my newly added mp3s no surprise, but you can always seek your files in Folders
JustPictures as ma Gallery app-- This is pretty good app does the work cleanly..
No prob whatsoever
Guys if you're facing the same issue fill in your default music and photo app replacements

What rom are you using? I had the same problem with orangepot cm6. Reflashed and it fixed it.

Hey, just check your SD card....there might be a file called .nomedia or something like dat...dont remember correctly.....just delete it and everything will be fine....i had the same problem earlier.

Install SDrescan from market and run it
Had a similar problem, just try unmount/remount of your SD.

Did that, no luck
I also had that problem before..Just backup all files in your sd and reformat your sd card and it will work again..
The stock music app as well as play music doesnt show any of the music files in the sd card. Tried other music players but to no avail. .is there any fix
this? In one case i saw an error with media playlist.xml something of this sort.Cleared the cache of the stock music player n rebooted but same problm continues.

Are you sure that the music is in a format supported by the player, files not corrupted, etc.?
I can play em but not thru music app but by navigating to the sd card n selecting the songs nd the details of the song are displayed as null null null

Stock rooted ICS OTA & Class 6 SD (but yet SD can get corrupted) so two misnomers out of the way. You mentioned Play Music so what is the stock music player separately you mention (did you install the apk later after sourcing from XDA?)
Post some screenshots for better understanding. Try reformatting your card and recopying the music tracks on the SD & check.

No i did not install it.The stock one is motos music app. And reformatting has worked, :thumbup::beer.thankyou sir

Though the matter is resolved, on my stock rom OTA ICS upgrade I have only Play music app only which replaced the original GB Moto music app but which I later reinstalled using apk from XDA and now both co-exist.

Song details being shown as null...may mean that the song metadata i.e. ID3 tags need fixing. Any media player on your PC should be able to do that or you could download specialised software for that.
Have you tried another media player on your phone?

Hi everyone, I´m new here and I suscribed because I have some problems since I have 4.2.2. Mi Xperia used to put vibrator mode alone, I disabled the Stamina Mode and the problem persist, the other one is that when I´m listen to music with earphones and I want to change the song with them, my cellphone resumes and I don´t know why
I hope that you can understand me and help me.

and is ur earphone brand is sony...??? if not try sony headsets.... if yes try to use it after a factory reset....

jajaja, sorry I wanted to mean vibrant mode, and my earphones are original. The factory reset erases my documents like music, pictures and so on???

No.. It will only erase internal storage.. Like contacts, messages,call log,apps,etc..you can take a backup of that.. Music, photos,etc are not touched.. So relax..

I made the factory reset and the problem persisted so I reinstall the software with the PC Companion and now I only have the problem that sometimes the XL resumes alone when I have the earphones connected. I can change the song with the earphones´ buttons, but after short time and only some times it resumes, I would like to know the solution or what that you recommend me do. Thanks.
Are you using too many apps which are constantly running into your ram.. This problem occurs when ram isn't free to run the current app so it starts terminating the apps which are running in the background.. So just make sure you Uninstall some apps which are constantly running in the ram.. If this doesn't help you try flashing your phone through flashtool for a clean latest firmware..

i have installed stock rom -***Ultimate Galaxy V4 [New Updated]***--- Note 3 + S5 on my micromax a110..
the rom is awsome..but only problem is that i cant see any of images in gallery and music player also not showing any song

thnx buddy...bt i hv already got better solution...i had copied all my memory card data in pc... den formatted card..and den pasted data again..
bt i was getting same problem bcoz after cleaning ram..so i have added gallery and video player in task managers ignore list...
it is now fully resolved

As I know there is no problem with gallery, you can try by clearing data, cache of gallery app, if not worked and you had rooted your device then you can uninstall it and reflash the gallery app

Is your device is rooted??

Maybe you have an image which is being corrupted.
It could cause to screw up the program while trying to read the image information.
Try to remove (backup first) your images and try to start the program.
