Hi everyone,
In my xperia neo a network the problem started 3 days before
first it was showing the sim and network and i was not able to make any call and then i changed the sim to airtel and it worked for two days. after that it also stopped, when i switch on the phone it initially shows network and after 5 mins it changes to "emergency calls only" but when i search network manually it detecting all networks but i'm not able to register on the home network. it shows network unavailable.. and sometimes network automatically comes and sometimes it automatically goes.....
please help me on this ?????
is it a software or hardware issue??
as i bought the phone from middle east the sony guys are not taking it for service here in kerala

Hi There,
I have SONY Xperia J Locked on Three Network on UK. Now I am out of UK. I recently Unlocked the phone. IT was working fine with other Network. Today I changed sim card. After that It is not registering with any Network.. It Shows " No Sim card, No Service2" on Lock Screen.
When i Search available Networks Manually it shows all Available Networks.. But If i select any Network It says "your sim card does not allow a connection to this network ".
I Googled For solution But I couldn't find any..
I tried the Following none of them work
1.Reset to Factory Setting - Still Same problem.
2. *#*#4636#*#* then checked the Phone Information.. Changed Preferred Network Type to Almost all possible Options But Still no use..
I tried Turn of Radio and Turn on again .. but no use..
Phone Info:
Signal Strength : -73dBm 20 asu .. but it varies to -100 and so on..
Android Version :4.1.2
Kernal Version : 3.4.0
My question is If I flash my Phone to ICS or JB again, will it resolve the Problem..?
Also is it because of any damage in sim slot..? cause it happened after i changed the sim card..

my xperia J got same problem. im send it to sony service center, and return normal, cz warranty is expired i musy pay approx $40. im still sad i pay that much and don't know how exacly happen about my xperia
My J (bought new, no smilock or net lock) suddenly lost signal and can't register to network anymore. The same sim can register to the network on other phones, and other sim cannot register to network on my J.
I tried to reset the device changing also firmware but it didn't help, after some time I insert the simpin (could be few seconds or few minutes) the signal is lost and the phone can't register to any network. With a network scan it finds all the available networks but it cannot register.
Is it a known issue? What could it be?

Have you tries another sim card?
Yes it doesn't work. But finally I figured out what was the problem. My provider blocked the imei, apparently without any reason.
Hi there I have the same problem what you have mentioned here.My other sim cards too donot work on my LAVA XOLO A500. I guess my provider too has blocked my imei for no reason.:crying::silly:
Hi, I have a Vodafone Germany SIM card that I would like to use in Australia to receive text messages (for online banking verification).
I have it S-Off, rooted and converted to Google Play edition and it has the latest Lollipop firmware, if that matters.
I have been in Australia since February and this used to work perfectly fine (a couple of months ago), but today when I tried to use my German SIM Card again I got "Emergency Calls only".
When I go to Settings --> Wireless & networks --> Cellular networks --> Network operators, after searching it gives me a list of 4 different operators, as well as choose automatically, no matter which I click on it says "Registering on [network] ..." for about 1-2 minutes, and then tells me "Can't connect to network right now, please try again later"
I have tried all I can think of:
Rebooting Phone
Turning LTE/3G/2G on/off
Turning Roaming On/Off
Turning Data On/Off
Dialing *#*#4636#*#* and turning on GSM only/ GSM auto/GSM LTE auto
All to no avail.
I have no problem using my Australian SIM and had no problems doing the same thing a couple of months ago. My Phone was already S-Off, etc. then.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hey guys, Today my D6633 fell down from the chair and after that i can't connect to my sim card network provider. When i disable Automatically select network this error is shown: error while searching for networks. Can anyone help me to find out whats the problem? How can i see more details about that error? Thanks in advance

That drop might have damaged your network antenna at the bottom. I had a similar problem last year.
I dropped my phone once and then i started losing my network signal. 1sec I used to have full range and the next i used to lose all the bars.
I then replaced my antenna and everything works fine now.
hi i have a oneplus 6 n im having network issues..most of the times i cnt receive or make calls with both sims..they randomly get full signal n no signal without me doing anything..the preferred network type is set to 2g 3g 4g automatic n sometimes i get 4g signal sometimes edge n sometimes no internet signal at all..sometimes near a sim signal bar it comes a ! sign n sometimes i get notification message mm2 that looking on the net means sim not provisioned or deactivated..but in other headset bot sims works..i hv to mention that ive played around with service menu *#*#4636#*#* when ive got the mm2 message..and in settings about phne sim status most of the times mobile network state is disconnected n service state randomly in service and not in service sometimes under network it says emergency only sometimes no network n sometimes it gives the operator name..imei numbers n baseband are displayed correctly..so now my problem is that i dnt have a constant gsm and network connection..n most of the times i cn get or give calls neither send or receive msgs...i hv updated to undroid 10..n i have downgraded to android 9 to see if the problem would hv being solved..unfortunately not..i bought this phone second hand today..and my mistake was to trust the person who sold it to me without checking the phne n without knowing the person..i maybe a dreamer but i alway hope that ppl are good n are not there to cheat other ppl..but i always fell in this trap n im always proved wrong..anyway that being said i would appreciate any help or suggestion from senior member or even from juniors member who might know more than me..
