Hi - I think if they are unique and useful then we'll need to post a description of what they do, otherwise you'd have to download it and try it out to see if it's something that you'd find useful....
For me - Data on demand - switches your mobile data connection off when you're screen is off, unless a background task calls for it.
and battery indicator - put's a little battery icon in your status bar which shows you how many % battery you have left.. much more useful than the vagaries of the std battery icon.
Hey above two are very common man
Ok let me tell u abt mine:
1. Droid phone control
U can the contents of ur phone on laptop without using usb cable..u can do a lot more..give it a try

Shortcut to see the memory status in just one clik
5. Uninstaller (mini soft)

My first post!
Just to correct OP, MeContacts is not a smart dialer. It's an app that you can put different contacts in grid view. You can choose either to call or view contact when you tap on that particular contact. Also, speak and send is great, thanks OP.
I've been nerding and looking up for anything that can improve my X10. I'll name the ones that I don't think are very common. But ya, here goes my long list (in no particular order; i don't use all of these now, but they have been useful to me before)...
*1) QuickDesk Beta
- quick pop up menu where you can add apps/widgets and allows you to stay on your current application (for some reason the double tap doesn't work for me, but single tap works fine)
2) Last Call Widget
- a simple widget that lets you see your last call (can 1 click to call back the caller if it was a missed call)
3) Quick Settings (by Sergej Shafarenka)
- an app that lets you quickly set your WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, etc. This is better than having a widget constantly running in the background
4) Quick Battery (by Sergej Shafarenka)
- nice looking battery widget
*5) Multicon Widget
- have 4 shortcuts (not widgets) in a normally 1 icon space (helps save a lot of space)
*6) Car Mode
- press on the icon, and phone all phone calls will be coming out of the speakers (NOT a bluetooth feature which connects to other BT devices)
7) Turtle Photoframe
- best (in my opinion) photoframe for pictures, not a lot of features or customization, but gets the job done I think
8) Unit converter (by Wopnersoft)
- really nice looking interface for a unit converter
9) Tajm
- presents the time and date in word format rather than numbers
*10) Shake - Uninstall
- enable the feature, and go into any application (does not work with widgets), then shake to uninstall the app
11) Blik Calendar Widget
- a 4x1 widget that shows your calendar schedule for about 8-10 days. Uses 1 of 500 built in pics to describe your activity for that day
*12) Home Switcher
- if you use a lot of different launchers and set 1 as a default, this will be very useful for you to toggle between the different launchers
*13) Market History Manager
- 1 click to delete the history in Market, very useful and straightforward
*14) ToDo List Widget
- easy to add, edit, and delete lists. very handle and simple to use.
Hope that list helps people! *phew* that took awhile to type it up =P
*starred ones are the ones I think are most useful.

Is this available on the Android Market?
Ghost Commander... A great Dual-pane file manager(like Norton Commander, FAR manager etc), making it very easy to copy and paste between folders in your SDcard, both panes are individually configurable and its the only file manager that i use...
Its a free download from android market
Note: if you've already used dual-pane file managers handling this is a breeze, but for first timers there is a small learning curve
Thanks ECBomb for sharing the names of those apps..will try n let u know

ehh, I have it now, but only 2 holes and then it is finished, it's the shortest trial ever! But the graphics and gameplay looks good. Only I have force closes almost everytime on my x10i....
And on topic again:
Smooth Calender widget for nice transparant text only appointments on your desktop, I use it in combination with Jorte (Calendar app). Both free on the market.
@ polkpix
Gameloft is giving smthing free..u shud b happy

Okay, just you ask for it....
"Smart notifier". For useless but funny pop ups when receiving SMS. Be careful it is funny...

I use facebook widget 5 minutes max each day....also i've disabled notifications and refresh interval-->never....still in About Phone-Battery use i get (60-85%) for facebook...wtf??...should i delete fb widget and use it as an app?
Also in Battery use
Maps (5-15%)...i never use them.
Display (20-30%)
Same here. Realise that Facebook widget is causing battery drain, took it out, use either the app or browser itself and back to normal. I'm using the I9023 version though.

I wanted to see what everyone's opinion was on taskillers Vs. Watchdog.
I've been reading that taskillers are obsolete with froyo and GB.
But Devs still add taskiller's in there ROM's.
task killers are of no use in STOCK gingerbread and froyo but do come in pretty handy in roms because they save u alot of space for apps and whatever else u use on your phone. I also am a fan of watchdog so try them out and see which one u like personally for me its watchdog. Hoped i helped
Hi Evilstewie, I notice that the blacklist kill on Watchdog only triggers when the phone is awake, is that the way it's supposed to work?
I set the threshold CPU for the stock browser at 0%, so I was expecting it to be killed even when screen is off, and the browser is idling, but it seems like it's only killed when the screen is on
task killers aren't exactly necessary and just kill battery

The thing is even when sent to the background, I notice apps like the stock browser, quickpic, and opera mobile still continue using CPU. So I need these apps to be killed automatically when they exceed 0% threshold
I see that there are a lot of running apps running when I go to settings --> Applications --> Running
There are apps that are running even though I'm not using them, like Beautiful widgets, GTasks, Speaktoit Assistant, Engadget, and Maps. Like I don't have any Beautiful Widgets on my homescreen, I'm using other widgets. And I have no idea why GTask, Speaktoit, Engadget, and Maps are running when I don't have any notifications set for them. I keep closing them too but they keep coming back. Anyone know why and how to stop them? I don't think they're killing my battery, but they are slowing my phone down. Thank you
An app like juice defender plus lets you control what apps run in background. It is a paid app but I like it. It saves my battery

dude install greenify from playstore & hibernate all un-needed apps
Thanks for your advice but i do not have any application running else whatspp.
As i told earlier it was problem of alarm manager.
But dont know how to work it out
dude install greenify & hibernate all the apps ....Even if an app isn't running in the background it periodically wakes to perform some task like whatsapp checking for new msg or playstore for update & so on...If u don't use alarms then in the settings disable alarm..
Don't forget to use greenify..
OK I will try and soon reply u soon
