Wifi hot spot enabled?

I'm pretty sure that there was a ROM that had Wifi hot spot enabled. Anyone remember which one?

I think Sonya v4 has it.
I'm pretty sure that all of the Indian Rom's come that way too.
If you go to the market and get sqlite editor, you can edit the file to disable the check. There is a ton of info on this. I would provide it, but I'm on my phone right now.

Sonya v4 doesn't have the entitlement check disabled by default enable by default, but you can go in with SQLlite editor and disable and then it works no problem. I am running that rom currently the only issues i am running into are my wifi has to keep being turned on and off to get connection and I can't get to the gallery through the camera app. Other than that Sonya is a great rom!

Can you tell me how to enable. Could I use ROM Toolbox or Root Explorer?

Same thing as above. Just a different line.
Buy sqlite from the market.
Open it up.
Find setting storage. ( red hammer and wrench. )
SETTINGS.DB
SETTINGS
LINE #148 ENTITLEMENT CHECK ( VALUE 1)
ERASE VALUE AND PUT IN DISABLED.
EXIT OUT.
REBOOT
TURN ON MOBILE HOT SPOT.
FREE

Home button..!

What can I do if my home button is not working, not responding n also I am not able to lock my screen by pattern?
When I set a pattern and apply, it doesn't contains the lock pattern but the default unlocking ring..

thats bcoz sometimes when you install somethings dont get written in system properly... or that can happen coz sometimes a mistake is done while flashing... so re flash.. :fingers-crossed:

Can XDA get me into download mode by tomorrow morning?

So here's my situation.
• Bottom volume button fell out.. literally fell out. The ACTUAL button, not the cover.
• On CM10, doesn't have an option to go into download mode from the power menu.
• CM10 pisses me off, going back to UCLB3.
What can I do to get in download mode? Do any ICS or JB ROMs have an option in the power menu?
Also I'm aware of the jig and willing to mutilate a USB cable but I don't have any resistors.

Try an app called Reboot Menu (no ads)... this has an option to reboot into download mode that works on the Infuse.
Any of the roms that include EPM (Extended Power Menu) will have an option to reboot into download mode via a long press of the power button.

I've not tried a jb ROM that didn't have that option.

HSS referring to download mode not recovery...I'll back him up that the option isn't in any jb/ICS ROM I know of
That app mentioned earlier sounds like your best bet

try using the app quick reboot or using rom toolbox's rebooter they'll do the job

Unlocked TW JB SMS features

OK so I was browsing around the sprint forum and I came across this thread. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2012583 This is a TW JB SMS with all extra settings unlocked. It gives you the option to disable screen on when you get a notification also to disable call back number and more. This is not my work and all credit goes to Sac23 for this mod I'm just sharing what I found with everyone. I see people asking for these options everyday so I'm sure this will make a lot of people happy. Enjoy guys.
Download and flash in recovery.

In the MMS settings...I noticed grayed-out server settings and a phone number that started with 1903 (from memory). Not sure if those are VZW settings or Sprint.

If wifi is on it doesn't switch to data to send pic. That's how this phone works when sending pics. Sorry for not being clear. I installed turned off screen on then replaced with stock. Screen no longer comes on and everything works perfect

So...just to be clear...you installed the sprint version...disabled screen on...reinstalled original Verizon version and screen stays off?
I'm assuming you reinstalled by copy and paste?

After installing this and un checking screen on, I deleted it with root explorer, copy paste stock, set permissions reboot to recovery wipe caches and reboot. Stock then works perfectly with screen staying off when message received notification lights still working. All good

Did you flash the zip through recovery or push the apk to /system/app set permissions reboot?

Go to settings, my device, calls, under the lower tabs. There's an option for increasing volume when phone is in pocket. Uncheck it

I have seen a zip file which you can install it via recovery to disable this function because Samsung didn't add an option to disable this...
but unfortunately this file was for s III only ..... if you give me this file for s II plus ... this will be greatful

But. I don't even have this problem....
