Sorry I post this again, the other one is under GENERAL and I don't think the genius will answer there.
I reverted from CM 10 alpha 4 to 2.3.6 KPE and then to KPQ using the stock roms. This should restore all as if came from factory?
I ask this because I have many problems that I can't solve.
1.- UIDs on the system are inconsistent ....
2.- The application facebook (process com.facebook.katana) has stopped unexpectedly...
3.- The application google search (proces com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox) has stopped unexpectedly..
4.- Can't download apps from the market
Can anyone explain me a little bit more please? Is there any way to have my phone like factory?
Thanks in advance!
I've faced a similar problem once before and wiping the dalvik cache solved it. However this suggestion comes with the caveat that I'm not really an expert and myself chanced on this solution from the forum. Hopefully it'll work for you.

Allready tried, but didn't work.
It seems that after pit and flashing KPE, doesn't clear all. Something is still there.
I don't understand the differences between kernel and rom, so perhaps I need to do something with the kernel.
Thanks any way.

ask it in the rom's thread or in q&a section
arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
First u remove this thread from here. Later u can think whether to remove the ROM or not
OK. 2 things......
OP - Be sure to post in the correct section. If you are having problems with a particular rom, please post it in that roms section so other users that are using it/have used it may help. There is a Q & A section also located here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1252709
where other users and senior members would love to help you out.
Other members - Try and be a little more polite. XDA is a great place for info and lets not try to scare a noob away. You never know, that noob may one day be the next great dev for you guys. We were all noobs once Just try to help and nicely point them in the right direction. We are all family here.

Sorry for bad english!
In GENERAL!!!
This is definitely not the pace to POST a QUESTION ! its a DEVELOPMENT SECTION !!! u should ask this in general section and be prepared to b shouted at ! this community members get dam pissed off easily and next time use google and read before posting
Try wiping data from cwm. General section please. I don't see how android dev section is for asking questions. Is it that ambiguous?
Cheers

For this kind of things you should go to the main forum of Samsung Galaxy SL i9003 and then to Galaxy SL i9003 Themes and Apps instead of Galaxy SL i9003 Android Development.
Also, before posting, search within the forum, because normally someone has already asked something about cameras, or other stuff, and you´ll find answers there.
To be able to solve your problem you should check which rom version do you have, because if you are in froyo and you put a gingerbread camera, it probably won´t work.
Try this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1453547&highlight=camera
Sheesh. Im a noob and you got me pissed. Twice! B-) How much more these devs dude?
Maybe there needs to be a thread that defines what issues are for devs and which are not.. For special cases like this.. Sometimes we noobs think our questions are sophisticated enough to qualify as a dev question.. Coz.. we're noobs..

hey i think this is a lib issue or a hardware prob...
but first why don't you install an aftermarket camera app from the market and see weather it is working or not..
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=slide.cameraZoom&hl=en
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.moblynx.cameraics&hl=en
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fingersoft.cartooncamera&hl=en
if any of those app work on ur phone then it's definately a rom problem i will help you
if those don't work then i will give u a flashable update.zip and if after that ur camera does'nt work then it's a hardware prob for sure..
just test and reply..
I was trying out different ROMs based on AOKP and CM9 on my device and I have finally chose to use the CM9 one. How can I remove "boot AOKP" from the start up? Does the present of the AOKP ROM take up space in my device? Thanks in advance.
You'll need to provide more details. What device do you have and what is this start menu? What rom is it?
And it shouldn't be taking up space on your system if you have CM installed. just taking space on your sd or internal flash memory.

I have an HP touchpad and I have installed this rom in both AOKP and CM9 version: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1501637
The CM9 is better so I decided to keep using it. How do I remove unnecessary stuff from previously installed ROM?
The start up menu means the one with black background and blue text for you to choose which OS to boot. Sorry for being a noob

lol, no problem. Its just commonly a good thing to state your device and what your running if you don't have that info in your signature, and always be as descriptive as possible. We love to help, but it makes it hard if we don't have something to go off of
I'm assuming you have some custom recovery installed like CWM recovery. Basically in recovery you would have had to of wiped before you flashed CM or your device wouldn't have booted. If it did, then we have a miracle on our hands When you wipe it removes all little bits of your previous rom. I suppose if you are still concerned there is an issue, you could just reboot back to recovery again and wipe everything except your sd and internal (not familiar with the device if it has those), and then just reflash the rom with gapps.
As far as the start menu I have no clue, I don't own that device to know how to remove or modify it. If I had to guess, I'd say it has something to do with the bootloader, and you should look around for a custom one on the forums that is modded for what you want.
Anyways, this is all just basic stuff and may not apply for the touchpad. If anything, just ask in the q&a section for the device that way a dev for that device can help. http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1467
I know you are new here so I'll just let you know real quick before I go, each device on XDA has five subforums.
TouchPad:
General
Q&A
Accessories
Development
Themes and Apps
So in the future if you have questions, the Q&A section for the TouchPad will be the best place to ask. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind helping, i just don't know the device like your actual devs would. Good luck!

I flashed the pre-rooted rom and everything was fine, then since it's my buddies phone he wanted to see how the JB EU theme rom was like and so I flashed over with odin. Then he didn't like it because of the home button didn't work which i had warned before we even flashed. I flashed back to stock well i tried, Now I'm stuck on when I try to boot the device I get an error saying logo.jpg draw failed. Anyone Can please help me with this, I will gladly appreciate it. USA device by the way. I tried to use heimdall but it seems very complicated as I'm getting the liusb error and I tried everything from deleting - reinstalling drivers and using different usb ports. Nothing seems to work. Thanks.

That's not a very big help.
Greetings to whoever is reading this!
I recently got a HTC HD2 phone with JellyBean 4.2 or 4.3 installed, I'm not sure. But I've been having memory problems with the phone. Whenever I install too many apps, the internal memory of the phone goes low and I can't install anything. I used Link2SD to transfer the apps to the SD card (and yes, I partioned it correctly I think) but I still get the memory low warning.
My question is: Is it possible to downgrade from JellyBean to Android 2.3 version?
I think I screwed up a little, because while having the JellyBean still installed, I installed something else over it trying to downgrade. But that's not causing any problems so far.
I'm quite a noob when it comes to android so please bear with me. Is it possible to delete everything that is installed on this phone, and start installing Android 2.3 from the beginning? If yes, then can you please tell me step-by-step how it is done, or if there is any guide that I missed, can you point me to it?
Thank you very much!

@classic20 - You should be able to retrograde to Gingerbread in the same manner you would upgrade the phone. Also, navigate to the HTC HD2 portion of XDA, you may have better luck if you do some digging there.

Thank you Sergeri. I am new to this forum so I didn't know the best place to post the question. Would you please refer me with a link to the HD2 sub-forum?

Haha, I know how to search with the keyboard. When I said I am a noob, I meant on this forum and about Android in general, not the computers
Anyway, I wiped my phone with the help of a friend and installed Gingerbread 2.3 or something like that.
But, I would really like to thank you for taking the time to reply.
