I have a body glove dropsuit on mine. It's for the RAZR M, but it fits perfectly as long as you don't mind losing the camera button. It's also very slim, I love it!

It may be the case that you are mistaken in your assertion that there are not cases built for this phone. Might want to case out cases for the Razr M. Some even have a camera button cut-out in case you need one. All depends on your usage case.
Have you looked at PDair dot com?
I ordered from the states, however it was delivered to the UK within a week.
Cheers for the link, I've still got some godwafwul bulky thing on mine that I got cheap off of ebay. Protects the phone, but looks awful and makes it pretty bulky.
i still search for a descent protective case
Also cannot find case which suits and protects well - all that separately yes, but not at once
Bought DC case (model Top30 XXL at local store) which suits very well, but last two milimeters of top part of mobile are going out of the case (corners), so my phone is not 100% safe once it falls in "good" angle. Anyway I like it for this time. Avoid those fake suede cases. Bought one and everytime I needed to pull that damn thing out It turned my pocket "inside out" ....
See dc-cases dot com.

You can get some decent cases for the Razr i on ebay, but to be honest, they suck. No good brands make them.
You can get some pretty cool snap on ones from a website on ebay called headcase.. I bought one, but if you want decent protection, they're not the best, thin plastic.... If you go to pdair.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=motorola+razr+i+xt890&order=name&dir=asc you can get some pretty decent ones, aluminium, rubberized, flip cases, they're in America so not sure about delivery timescale.

Seek eBay. There are a lot of them...
check this one out, its the one i'm using right now and fits perfectly http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/310635918980?var=610180588948&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649
Seidio case
Hi all, just type seidio case for razr m on ebay. I got the Seidio Active Rugged Protector Case from a seller called sfplanet. A two piece case, the inner is made from soft silicon, the outer from a rigid but flexible plastic. Comes from America and costs around £30.00 with p&p but well worth it imo. Had it for nearly 3 months now. Seems very well made, fits perfect with all cut outs apart from the camera button but this does not stop the operation of button. In fact there is a slight ridge of extra silicon exactly where the camera button is which serves the purpose. Feels good in the hand, a lot less slippery. I have dropped it a couple of times but it hasn't left a mark. Have tried to upload some pics, sorry about the quality.
Cool stuff
Some cool stuff are going out. But I really want new roms.
I bought a Razr M otterbox for my Razr i. It fit and everything but it covered up the camera button. I hated that camera button anyway.

I am using INCIPIO one. It's originally made for Razr M, but perfectly suits Razr i - the only difference is the camera button, but I never use it.
It's very thin (that was mine main criteria) and the material is great!
Plus they ship to Europe! The cover costed me around 25 euro overall.
Few days ago I ordered http://www.goballisticcase.com/products/motorola-droid-razr-m-ballistic-shell-gel-sg-series-case for arroud 18$ on eBay. Before I used Ballistic case for Atrix and in fact it stretched but after almost one year so it's not so expensive to pay few $ for almost one year using.
This one is for RAZRm but I never used hardware camera button so event if sometimes case trigger camera I will disable this button with Tasker or in build.prop.
So my conclusion is: it's better to have good case than crappy (yes RAZRi has really crappy camera button) camera button.

So this week i'll be purchasing about three or four cheapo silicone/rubberized cases from amazon for the inspire 4G.
I will also purchase either a commuter or a case mate tough.
I'll be sure to post a comprehensive review and pictures comparing all the cases.
I need some help deciding which of the two to get though.
Commuter vs Case Mate Tough.
Opinions?
Do they both protect the camera when the phone is layed flat on a surface?
Thanks guys.
I have the case-mate tough. It protects the screen and camera when laid down flat. I like it a lot. It is very simple and the hard outer piece is nice for sliding in and out of pockets. Have not seen the commuter in person so no opinion on it.
From watching the various desire hd YouTube videos it seems they're pretty much the same except that the otterbox has the little covers for the mini USB and audio jack. I just ordered me up the case mate off at&T's website using the 25% off accessories code. Hoping for the best.

As personal preference, go with the Otterbox commuter. Its not bulky whatsoever. I'm positive you won't be disappointed.
My Commuter is the best phone case I've ever had. I'm sure the Casemate is pretty nice too.. vote with your wallet
I have both and I prefer the Otterbox because the Casemate back is more slippery. The Casemate does feel a little thinner to me. I currently don't have either on because I just love the way the phone feels =)... I'm sure I'll pay for it though.

I'll go with the casemate tough.
I don't like the "Otter" logo on the back of the otter case and the fact that the buttons are covered.
Other than that I don't think I would have a preference.

I just bought the platinum series today from best buy for 35.00. I like it so far. It came with the holster and it doesn't put a lot of bulk on the phone.
UPDATE
Case holds up great. Just slipped in ice and landed on the phone. The phone did not come out the holster at all. No physical damage to the phone, but the ice did break and the phone got water damaged. I was able to exchange it at Walmart though. Seems like a good case besides no water protection lol.
Jumped the gun on the Otterbox Commuter and I have to say I really like it. It came in 2 parts, the rubber and the hard case which goes together. The volume buttom and the power button has a nice feel to them, doesnt make pushing them any harder. The screen protector that it came with was a bit smaller than the Inspire screen because the box actually says it is for Desire HD.
Going to visit mobilecity in China town today for cases, do you think Case-Mate in blue is manly? Can't post link yet.
just got my case mate tough and i love it ... the only problem i have is the volume buttons are a little harder to push but power/lock is unaffected. however that doesnt really cause a major problem for me because i use the audio manager widget most of the time

It acually comes off without a struggle too, which it seems a lot of these style cases lack. Cheers

Just ordered as well. I've been using OtterBox for my T-Mobile G2, but the tab attaching the front piece to the phone on OtterBox case is broken. We'll see how well case-mate case holds up.
Still a little pricey for me, the rubber ones one ebay have the same rubbery feel and also look and protect the same for less then $5. Just my opinion though
how rubbery is it? The original case I bought from Tmobile would get stuck in my pocket when I would try and pull it out. Now I am rocking a clear case but one of the tabs recently broke so I am looking for another
Its not rubbery to the point that its hard to take out of pocket, just feels nice in the hand, and not as slippery as a gloss finish.
Spending $20 bucks to adequately protect a device that costs $500 out of contract is well worth it imo.
Like I said, I reccomend it to the people not interested in wading through the waves of ebay garbage for $1.99

like the name says this case is really light, but protects your phone well
I've got my DZ with the Barely There case for about a month now, and I'm very happy with it. You don't even notice the screen protector, and the case itself doesn't make your phone look like a new refridgerator, but it does make your phone feel like it's sturdy enough to survive an accidental drop on the ground.
I recommend the CM BT case to every DZ user
Can this be store bought? I've been looking for a Screen protector that includes a case!
I was actually not aware of this brand (Case-Mate) before, and was therefor very surprised to see that the case i bought for 5$ in a little Chinese shop in manhattan looks 99% the same (only difference i could see is the hole on top right corner of the back, as i've seen in several other cases, but not mine.)
i think for 1/4 of the price, its well worth it
Thanks for the pics bro

Hi I've been a lurker for a while pyt this is my first post and I was wondering if anyone had good recommendations for cases with a frontlip for the one x. I switch from the iPhone 3gs and was using the incase slider that a had a really nice design and saved my phone many times. I was the wondering if anyone knows of a similar case that won't scratch my phone like the incase did.

Loving my Case-mate "Smooth" purchased from expansys. Semi-rigid with a great hand feel. Recommended. No cutout for the contacts on the back though.
Sent from my HTC One X using XDA Premium HD. In between FCs.
I did see that case I how big is the lip on the front. And does it feel cheap at all or does it collect a lot of lint because those are my only problems with some gel and tpu cases.
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
Feels very well made, fits tightly. You might have a tiny struggle getting it on at first, but you'll manage. The lip over the sides comes just far up enough to cover the seams on the glass. And because of its rigidity, it doesn't buckle to reveal the seams. I'm very satisfied with it.
One flaw I found - and it's been on both units I purchased - was a little unfinished cutting on the bottom edge of the camera lens cutout. Probably something in manufacturing where they cut it from the mold or whatever. It bothered me enough to get a return authorization, but it dawned on me (again) that life's too short to give a crap about ridiculous things like this so I never returned it. In fact, I bought the second unit for a buddy of mine instead.

I bought the Incipio Feather and NGP. The feather is going back the NGP is staying. This is a somewhat overpriced but well made and well fitting TPU case (semi-soft). Feels much more secure in my hand and less likely to slip than the Feather, though admittedly not as sleek. the Speck cases on the iPhone seem to offer good protection, but the only ones I saw in the AT&T store were ugly red and bright blue, I am not a teenager, no way I am putting one of these on my phone.
The official purple TPU case is pretty good for that but I'm not sure if I'm a huge fan of its appearance.
Cimo TPU case from Amazon is pretty good. Nice lip and good grip on the edges. Plus it was only $8 when I bought mine

So I was browsing ebay for cheap hard shell cases for a DIY project when I stumbled upon these cheap cases. I bought a couple and they got to me from China to Los Angeles as early as 4 business and one case lagged behind and arrived 8 business days later. Overall shipping was really fast. Overall the cases are really nice and snug but one thing that stood out the most was it's very easy to remove from the case. With the Ringke Slim Case, I would worry about scratching the chrome bezel but this thing pops out like a charm yet it snug enough for me to not worry about it coming out on its own. Will i the phone pop out if I drop it? Doubt it.
These cases are super slim and you can actually see the Nexus logo through the case. It's not noticeable unless you look for it and even then, it's very faint but that just gives you the idea of how slim it is. The plastic feels close to what the rubberized plastic feels like on the nexus so it feels good in the hand and actually feels like a premium case in my opinion. I own a couple Ringke cases, a poetic bumper, and various flip cases and this $2 case is my favorite out of them all. For those who have the Ringke case and a back skin protector, you'll notice two lines streaming down the back, this doesn't cause that. I have the Best Skins Ever skin protector on the back and have no issues with it. I do not have a front screen protector so I can't comment on how it would act with one. Now of course there are some minor annoyances defects with this case, it's a cheap $2 Chinese case, but the pros greatly out weigh the cons and they are only cosmetic. The one thing that this case has that stands out for the rest is that it has a cut out for the sim tray, something I haven't seen on any other case and may or may not be a downside. For me, I don't mind. Also pushing the power button may take some getting used to but it's not an issue. Other than that I love the hell out of this case and I'm glad I bought a bunch and it has a logo-less design! I'll upload some pics below.
Pro's
*No Logos
*Feels premium
*No streaks on the back of the phone like Ringke
*Cheap
*Fast shipping
*Super lightweight and thin
*Doesn't interfere with back skin protectors
*Has a rubberized plastic feel
*Looks amazing in person
*Sim tray cut out
Cons
*Very minor cosmetic blemishes
Tl;Dr: Overall I love it more than any other case I have bought including the slim Rearth case. Definite buy. For something $2 it definately feels better than those $10+, $20+ cases
pics
http://imgur.com/a/mLGsE
In one of the pictures, you'll see a little bit of excess plastic and there's a seam that runs along side the case. You can't feel it but you can clearly see it. Those are the only cosmetic blemishes and can me remedied easily.
thanks for the review! for me the biggest con's that I've picked out right away are the lack of protection for the top and the bottom of the phone, rendering it 1/2 way useless, considering 1/2 times the phone drops on it's top/bottom. I might have looked at the case wrong, but from the photos, it seems like there are only sides and back protection.

Yeah the top and bottom are exposed and for some reason imgur only uploaded half the photos I wanted. This is my personal opinion on the case and I can see how the top and bottom exposed would be an issue for some. It completely went over my head on that part. For ~$2 I would still pick one up to play with. Originally this was meant fit a diy project but it won me over as a plain case

It seems ebay.ca doesn't have My Cart only Watch List.
It looks like the seller is also selling TPU cases for $2.33. I have yet to find a TPU case that I like for this thing. Maybe I'm just too anti-cases in general.
First, the case's full name is Acase Superleggera Pro Hybrid dual layer Case for LG Google Nexus 4.
Link on amazon.com: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00B4I2GJU/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
FOr me, the seller shipped from IN, I dont know if they have any other branch. IAmazon said it would be delivered on Thursday, but I have received it on Wednesday.
I am not good at English, so I will use a lot of images to review this case. I also take picture the case with the Nexus 4 adapter, so you can compare the demensions.
The case fit perfectly to the phone.
The case has two layers which are seperated. One is soft and one is hard.
I have a back, front and body wet-protector, and this case haven't peel my protector yet. Hopefully it won't. However, with a soft cover, I dont think it will peel any corner off.
THe back of the hard part is smooth. Hence slippery or not, I think it depends on each person. For me, it's not slippery. But the fact is it's smooth, so it can fall off your hand if you're not careful.
Buttons can be used very easily.
I dont have a Wifi charger in case someone ask me for this.
Last thing, any grammar error?
EDIT and WARNING: Because this case has a ruber layer (it has two layers: the soft ruber one and the hard one), it collects dust very easy, especially when you put it in your jeans' pocket. This is no problem to me, with a fiber or tape, I can easily remove them.
I also confirm again, this case doesn't peel the corner of your screen protector off.
However, with the Ballistic one, it will peel your corner off very easily because the top and bottm of the ballistic aren't fixed. I have borrowed the Ballistic one from a friend and used it for two days, at the end of each day, I had to apply my screen protector again. If you need some images on the Ballistic one, tell me, I will do some for you.
Test.
Image part 3.
Looks like a good alternative to otter box. Thanks for sharing.

I also got this case in white, i absolutely love it except for the fact that it's white, and gets dirty if not taken care of. Other then that, it's awesome. I don't use it now, because i have lens for my phone camera, but when I did use it, i wasn't afraid of dropping it.

I'm still waiting for the Superleggera to arrive (7-10 days). As soon as I get it I'll update what I find, compared to Ballistic Shell Gel SG.
I tried the Ballistic one from a buddy of mine but I personally did not like it. The build quality is very good with the ballistic and it feels like it's going to protect the phone well. But from day to day usability it's not very practical.
The inside silicone piece of the Ballistic is very soft/loose. It fits the phone well but without the support of the hard shell it tends to come off. That is why some people complain that the top and bottom of this case is not very fitting, since there is no hard shell support there.
The soft silicone with the protruding corners of the case sometimes gets stuck taking in/out of pant pockets.
In the YouTube reviews and the pictures by OP by the look of the Superleggera, the silicone seems stiffer than the Ballistic and the hard shell supports all four sides, hence more form fitting than the Ballistic and should not have any pocket issue.
nice review, looks nicer than the two later one i bough a few months back.

it's not just germany, any country outside the US pays around that much to get most things shipped from US amazon. Try to find it on another website.

Acase's are really good I have 1 on both my S3's and love them. I bought a Diztronic for my N4 as these were not available yet. Will be ordering 1 tomorrow.
Can anyone with this case (Acase Superleggera Nexus 4) comment on whether the case lip interferes with edge swiping (e.g. useful to switch tabs in Chrome). Thanks!

How slippery is this case? I'm assuming the hard case (outer cover) is, but not the inside tpu bit. Is that true? So can I remove the hard case and expose the tpu while setting it on an uneven surface?
Your English is not bad at all!
