Could someone tell me if there are any new ROM links since multiupload seems to be having problems, and if so where to find them please.
I'd love to find the same thing out. At least, maybe someone upload them to a different site
Because no one seems to do it I was forced to work by myself and I managed to upgrade the phone to Android 2.2.
I wrote detail article with direct link downloads for the ROM file and the flasher. They are direct downloads no ads or such.
I also have all Firmwares for all Alcatel phones, but they are about 11Gb so I'll upload them in the next few days.
the tutorial is little big, but I was trying to be more precise so everyone can understand me.
Thanks.

Thanks for the info, a guy was asking to me if he could update his phone to 2.2 and he will be pleased of hear: yes you can! =D
What about performance of 2.2 on this phone, is it good. Do you need OC? Is all working like on the original 2.1 rom?
Thanks again!

The performance is BETTER then the stock ROM because a lot of unnecessary apps provided by alcatel are deleted and left only the important one. I made this upgrade for mu sister's phone and I can say it is running with no problem. Everything works, GPS, WiFi, GPRS. All is normal.
I am happy because it is at least 2.2. Android 2.1 is prehistoric, there is even no Google Play store upgrade for it.
Need complete ROM files
Can someone upload the complete ROM and share the link? I want to make a similar ROM for Spice MI 270 based on MT6516. My phone has android 2.2 but does not support adb currently.
Please upload system.bin, boot.img, recovery.img and others if possible.
Thanks!
Holy Batman it's a very old thread I know!!
Would someone be kind enough to upload the tutorial and the files. I would be grateful...
Thank you.

Hi, I just bought Alcatel 890d a couple of weeks ago. It comes with Android 2.2 out of the box. Is it possible to upgrade it to the newer Android version? Also, could you please give me the TWRP/CWM img file for this phone that I can flash using Flashify? Please. I really need it so bad.
Hey everyone, My first post on here so please bear with me as this maybe in the wrong thread.
I purchased this tablet from eBay and it arrived with some form of custom KitKat 4.4.2 ROM installed on it which is all well and good all though i would like to:
Install Stock ROM
Root Device
Reason for wanting the stock ROM is because in theory it should be a lot more stable than what the device currently is but following both set of instructions on their website proves to not work at all (unless I'm doing something wrong as not found out how to enter download mode yet!).
Is there another way of installing these files at all? Also any help on getting into download mode and recovery mode properly would be of great assistance!
At this point could i also ask if there is a really good KitKat ROM for this device that will support the rockchip?
Then last of all i would like to root the device, Again any help would be greatly appreciated and all info regarding this device can be found on their website as i can't post links yet.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and hopefully someone can help.
I'm a complete newbie in the Android world (iPhone user), so I'm so sorry in advance if I'm asking a stupid question. So today I bought an Alcatel Hero 2 from Amazon. The device hasn't arrived yet. The device has Android Kitkat on it and from some youtube review videos I knew that the customized Android version installed on the device is chubby so I thought if I can upgrade to vanilla Lollipop then the performance will improve.
There is very little information on the web about the Hero 2. I only found a webpage (can't post a link here because I'm new but google for "upgrade alcatel hero 2 lollipop" and you'll find it) that says one can upgrade to Lollipop, but it seems to be SCAM. Thus I thought it's better to ask here to get trusted answers since I don't want to get into security problems.
I know what ROMs are and have a little background but I don't know where to get trusted ROMs or if it's possible at all to upgrade my phone. I appreciate any answers.
Many thanks in advance!
Probably not, unless Alcatel comes out with its own Lollipop update or more threads appear here for Hero 2 ROMs.
The Hero 2 isn't very popular, or at least well-known, in the US. I'm surprised you even found it for purchase. Was it on the US Amazon site or a foreign version? Got a link? I was interested in a Hero 2, too, but I could never find it, and now it's getting a little long in the tooth.
Sorry this isn't the answer you wanted. Is it an all right phone overall, though? Reviews were generally favorable.
I don't think there is Lollipop rom for your device.
Hi guys,
any news about lollipop update? Im choosing between Hero 2 and LG G3, but Hero 2 is cheaper for me and it has little bit bigger screen. Any advices please?

7.1.2
Hi there, I managed to port a RR rom (7.1.2) for this device. If you still want to try it out let me know, I would make a thread but sadly I can't
Please, if it is not too much trouble, you can update the link

This is weird, I looked all over and cannot find any links for original flashing files, not even 4PDA.
But, the rom I ported has no sound (unless you wear headphones), and camera is not working. This was basically just an experiment on trying to port it for first time, but sadly I do not have the device anymore so I won't be able to help much. If you still want to try it, here's the link: https://forum.xda-developers.com/general/rooting-roms/resurrection-remix-5-8-5-alcatel-t3913051
Meanwhile I'll try to keep looking for the original stock ROM for your device, there has to be something.
I'll let you know if I find anything.
A friend of mine gave me an old phone of his which turned out to be a Samsung i997 (infuse) and it's still running the old 2.3.6 version of android. I read some old posts and links where someone had put together an updated rom, 4.x.x jellybean, and I'm having problems finding the file anywhere as all the links are dead. I was hoping someone might have a copy on an old hard drive or in an old roms folder and might be able to help me out.
The file name is "CNA_Aries_3.6.6_Signed_Th3Bill.zip" and if anyone could hook me up I'd GREATLY appreciate it. Or if someone has a different file(s) to get the phone up to 4.x that would work too as I can't find a single working link to any files for the upgrade.
The phone is still in perfect working order and I'd like to get it up to android 4.x so it could be usable as a backup or loaner. Or even for the nephews/nieces to play on when they visit.
Thanks in advance!!!
Edit: I just searched the dev forum for the infuse and I found a few threads with v4.x firmwares/roms but the links for the firmwares/roms lead to bogus download websites that make my anti-virus software go crazy. So like I said before, if someone could lead me to a good download link or send it to me directly I'd be eternally grateful!

@killer91rs, I have this unofficial cm11 Android 4.4.4
https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B3oVCDyHfrCaWG9HM2ZPZnZlcVk
It was the last stable ROM since OP Scott left the project and I've used it for about 1 year before finally upgrading my phone
I always disabled Google Play Services and Play Store to greatly improve stability & battery and enabled them only when needed!
