Finally it happened, CYANOGENMOD on our device! Fully working 100% - smooth interface, improved performance, battery holds a lot better! Please note this mod was tested on Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 - Do not install it on a version I8160P! All your actions you do at your own risk!

well the rom from this thread is not the same as any of the 2 cm roms from 4pda, it has extra apps, modified build.prop...

Nah not really, it means that it's not really the same. This might mean either that it's a new build, or a modified build from the 1st cm rom from pda. Or just a "brick package"
1st time I tried to flash->Reboot to recovery.
2nd time succeeded->I tried to boot, straight into recovery because it failed to mount /data.
Just re-flashed a rom which I happened to have in my sd card, still not booting cuz it can't mount /data, so I'm re-flashing MC8 and I'm gonna give it 1 more try.

Mine comes with the JRO03S, thats one of the reason I can't use "backup/restore" in the N7 toolkits...

You would need to flash a custom recovery first such as clockworkmod, so it needs to be unlocked. The easiest way to do it for most people will be using this:

I manage to successful port the (Leaked XXELK4) & (Official XXELKC) 4.1.2 rom on I9305. :laugh:
Everything seems to work as it should.
I make the rom default as possible for any dev to add or remove anything. :good:
Mods:XXELK4:
Costum reboot menu.
The ability to change sogns with volume keys on lock screen.
XXELKC:All apps is updated to the latest.
Call recording button to dialler.
Everything else remain untouched Samsung default.
If anything come's up i will just add the zip here as CWM.

Since there is no official MIUI for I9305 yet, this is a port from I9300.
The most important thing for us is that all of the phone functions work properly.
The kernel that was used I9305 Samsung's stock with ramdisk modifications for MIUI.
I'll try every week to regularly refreshing rom with coming updates.

Been back to the other miui Rom since last night and have not had this or any other problem with it. Not sure what the difference is apart from the kernel and the extra language support, so maybe the problem lies within those things somewhere.
Still damn fine to see any miui Roms for i9305 so Cile's work is massively appreciated

Finally Slim is here, very nice rom no problems atm but will see in time.
Clean install, wifi isnt working.
Cant turn it on in settings, button goes straight back to off

however i changed to S3 LTE last week. but there is no slimbean rom
