what is SMAiL UI ?
its mainly taken some resources (images) from MiUI and LeWa ROM... But its completely different from those... based on Stock ROM... so it has awesome looks with performance friendly :highfive: ... SMAiL UI mainly targeted on user friendliness, for example resents panel in MicroFire is more useful then any other... also mods like volume rocker to skip songs is must have mods.... it also customizible... some want transparency in status bar, while some one like me don't... its good for both, switch between them any time.. after fresh install i got around 180 mb....
yup you can install it over R 5....

In your future release, please get RID of "Airplane Mode" from Status Bar, Its location is bad and is touched accidentally by many users.
Very Good ROM , but want to remove BB Style lockscreen & dropdown list toggle buttons
Its a very good rom & looks stunning. Only problem is i want to remove BB Style lockscreen as am not comfortable dragging it on top. Also the buttons of metallic style looks as bit odd so wish to remove that too. Rest its good & your hardwork can clearly be seen by many othe features.

sd ejection not faced frm last 5 days.... !! for usb u hav to reboot phone.... no fix for now...

where is 3g-2g toggle...big drawback...i think dsp manager not working..no effect with dsp manager..normal music..!! contact picture were appear bluish when calling..!!otherwise its so good..netlock free..!!!
This ROM works fast and smooth, I like it... It's the very 1st ROM that makes me seriously think about migrating from JetMOD... Some bugs I see:
- Not properly rooted, apps asking root get stuck and force-close
- DSP Manager settings not working: audio quality doesn't change at all
- Background "gradient" too much notorious, looks like a bad quality .JPG
- Lock screen area looks cramped if using pattern-type lock
Tested 2 times, properly cleaning & installing from recovery. Also, personal request: ¿can you add Spanish language please? other ROMs have it... Heh, seems I'm the only one not from India haha.
Attached is N720 recovery-zip fix for GSM & GPS (different libs than A60)

I'm using same rom but not facing any problem with root... let me know if any othr are facing same problm... DSP manager is not a problm at all.... u can use othr apps... spanish, kk i will add soon

everything else is working fine and the rom is very good...
Hiiiiiiii Akash, great work and u deserve lots of hits on thanks button. I faced the same issue when i was using the applications which require rooting, then I had to restart the fone and temporarily this issue got fixed.

Pattern Lockscreen fix for ADT users....
Hey guys here im giving u simple steps for ADT users to flash the FIX....:good::laugh:
No need to plug ur mobile to pc...no need to use yaffs tool.....
Things Required:
1.Root & BusyBox installed. (In most custom roms des things available so no worries... )
2. Android Terminal Emulator app.... Check HERE
Download the fix zip and extract then place in root of sdcard....
Now open the termial app. You ll see bluescreen nd start typing des three simple lines....
Explanation for des codes is given too....
su -----> Allowing superuser permission
cd sdcard -----> Entering sdcard directory
sh flash.sh ----->Execute the shell commands
Tats all your work finished in min....

Jalebi ROM has it's own tweaks and my ROM has it's own...
I have added graphical user interface (GUI) modifications...battery saving tweaks...and various performance tweaks...
I am not saying that my ROM is better, All ROMS are best because the developers put in a lot of hardwork ..Try every ROM and use what suits you best..

Hey there. Just want to let you know that the ROM was smooth and quick.
I dont know why i got this "leider wurde der prozess com.android.phone beendet" error but i was able to boot into.
FYI, i was on Dr.Bhokali ROM when i updated to SEMI
My Observations
1. Got every basic stuff to work
2. The phone's pull down toggle UI was the same as your screenshots were. But the settings interface was the same old blue and white icon type of JB.
3. Smooth and Quick
4. Wasnt able to test GPS since im surrounded by tall apartments
5. Has issue with wifi in previous rom. Did not face any such in SEMI

2. Copy them in the root of your sdcard.
3. Boot into STOCK recovery > wipe data > apply update > ClockWorkRec.zip
4. Now you are in cwm > wipe data > wipe cache > wipe dalvik cache
5. Install zip from sdcard and select the kernel that you have downloaded.
6. Now go to Advanced and reboot recovery.
7. Now you will have CWM by default > install zip from sdcard and select the Rom zip.

4. (2nd option) open security app ,go to ram management and manage it from there

Weather App is one of the attraction of this ROM for me. Will wait, for bug be resolved, to flash.

In v 2.5 apps are taking time in open... When goin to open an app screen freezes for a while... Nos saved without +91 are not showing name during incoming call. Performance wise 2.3 was far better than it. Donno abt others. Manish pl do something bro

it's taking time due to animation........switch off it in deep sleep mode in (settings>battery).....kindly go to contact settings to fixes etc........for launcher i removed it...if u want i'll add older launcher

Tried all in contact settings but no luck. Now editing my saved nos. It'l b highly appreciated if you can provide the options in current launcher but if not, then pl provide old launcher.

Wipe dalvik cache.
Reboot system

Tricks :
- To enable navigation bar : Open MiXplorer/Root explorer -> /system/build.prop. And then change qemu.hw.mainkeys=1 to qemu.hw.mainkeys=0. Save and restart your phone.
- You can change screen off animation by changing :
persist.sys.screen_off=crt (if you want CRT animation)
persist.sys.screen_off=fade (if you want fade animation)
persist.sys.screen_off=off (if you wanna disable animation)

Really really thankful for you to make this rom... I love custom rom especially cyanogenmod so much...
But The rom size is only 43 MB?? It seems so small in my experience.. My current device galaxy note 2 custom rom size are around 200-250 MB, but for my 2nd device, galaxy v, the size seems small,
The roms also has many tweak and features which is opposite of rom size.. I'm also afraid of Rom Instabilities after 2 years of flashing many roms
Can you please clarify me more about rom stability??

install nemoid v1 first. if it's works, u can update to v1.1 if u want. follow the tutorial rightly. and read my signature.

flash the latest stockrom firmware thru odin. If it successed, then flash twrp thru odin.
I really liked this but it has bugs, I wish it get fixed, such as the google search on the home screen cant be removed, and whenever I try to change the wallpaper its oversized and is not fitted to he screen. The lock screen (Pattern) is also pixelated. Although I think the ROM is great, but is in need of improvement, in my opinion. Thanks though!! More power!!

Thanks for using and your opinion. google search on homescreen isnt bug. That is default widget of launcher. But have u try to install another launcher like holo launcher or etc ? maybe it can help you. Or u can use TW launcher from stockrom.
About lag, i think it's relative. Not everyone have the same problem with you. But i'll try to improve this rom.
Oh please do.. by the way, does your emoji are colored? Coz i think I have a problem with mine.. I've been talking to the Help Thread but im being ignored..
OP can you mirror the ROM to other sites? I'm having problems with Mediafire.

did you update the system via ota ? If you do , you need to install custom recovery first in order to install custom recovery on galaxy V. Download and instruction avalaible here : http://galaxyvarchive.blogspot.com/2015/03/kernelhow-to-install-custom-kernel-on.html ,

OP sorry for late reply. Maybe you could mirror the ROM to Dev Host or any other reliable sites? I am really having problems with Mediafire. Downloads get stuck at 90+ something percent then it stops. Sometimes it doesn't even download at all. I am really hoping you could mirror the ROM 'cause I've yet to try it. I have been away from XDA for a long time.
