Game booster - Asus Transformer TF700

Which is the best app for freeing memory at the launch of a game? Or smooth play in general? I have root access if it's needed. Thanks.

This is android, not apple. You don't do anything.
The past apps button you can use, then close out all apps you are not using

You can use Game Booster to close background tasks and get more free memory before starting your game.

[Q] Extend display to android device

Is there an app, program, or a way to extend my laptop/desktop to my rooted android device?
Bump for curiosity!

iDisplay
Actually there is an app to extend the display with an android device. The app is called iDisplay, but!!:
the extended display is very very very slow!! And if that doesn't annoy you, than there is a stability problen that the app crashes after starting a game.
So for me there is no usable app out there
If someone happen to find something I would be very glad to hear it.

Android Market

Android market on Transformer is not showing the ratings (and number of ratings) of each app until you open the detail of an app. Is it just me?
Just you. Working fine here.
But still can't find a way to rate app and app version shows 0.00b for all apps

That's strange. I have tried rebooting, force close market. It's still not showing ratings when I browse. But if I do an app search, the list returned has ratings.

Auto killer

Does anybody know of a good autokiller app (non-rooted)?
Preferably one that lists the apps, then I can just select the apps I want it to autokill and prevent from automatically restarting in the background. I know there's a few out there, but they're rather advanced for me, requiring you to set the data that each type of startup can use (I think that's how they work, anyways).

It is recommended not to use auto killers on Android. Android is very well capable to manage memory itself. You can find information about this here on XDA, or google the internet for articles.

that may be so but i myself would still prefer to hav the option to auto kill 3rd party apps.
i dont want to interfere with Andoird system apps or the OS itself but i would love to have the option to auto kill any 3rd party apps that i myself initiated or downloaded.
sometimes there are other apps and games where i started, they are in memory and still running beause ihit home instead of back button or exit and sometimes that adds up and its a pain to have to reopen them one by one and clsoe or exit them.
a 3rd party app killer that only read the apps in the 3rd party app list in Android and avoided any system or core apps would be lovely. also if it had the option of setting up custom lists where you could ignore specific 3rd party apps as well.
The transformer is my first Android device. I don't like the fact that there isn't an easy to just close an app you are done with. I don't care how efficient Android is at managing memory, thats no the point. If I am done playing a movie or Angry Birds then just give me the option to close the app. Yes you can go into setting & do a force closure but it shouldn't have to be that way.

If you hit back until it goes all the way back to the home screen then the app/game is fully closed.
If you hit home, it's going to be running in the background.

running a bit slow....?

How do I bring up and shut down recent apps like I do on my phone?
Tia
You can't close apps from the recent apps list, if toe want to close apps, go to settings, applications and then running services, there you can close running apps. But why would you want to do this? Android usually manages this automatically.

Its running a bit slower today so I figured it would help
In my experience this happens sometimes when to much memory is in use, and usually disappears a while later as Android does it's magic house keeping. Clearing up memory manually might work but I usually just reboot if it irks me.
Of course, it could always be an application on your system, or hardware.

[Q] whats the best app to have to.mod or hack games

Am currently using gamecih but quite alot of games wont even open knowing.
Gamecih is on my phone and tells me to delete gamecih to play just wondering
What's the best to use
p.s Castle clash is on top of my list to mod but struggling to do this. With the new update
Thanks
I use Game Guardian or Freedom, but both don't work with Castle Clash. That's because Castle Clash is an online game that always sync with their servers.

I usually connect my phone to my computer and use notepad++ to edit the hex values

Yes, I sometimes use Hex Editor, on my phone, but to edit values in hex you need some advanced knowledge.
