Your going to hate my answer because it's the most obvious...use an on screen keyboard replacement.

I am not a fan of the biiiiiiig loooooong swype you have to do answer a call.
Any alternatives anyone can recommend, say with just a nice answer button?
I just do a simple flick, not long at all

Sometimes it's a little too easy to make a call. I had to apologize to a few people already.
That's one thing I definately miss from my WM phone; the send and end buttons!

Try Settings>Call Settings>All Calls>Answering call
Then check Answering mode and Answering key
You can then answer a call pressing any of the keys (I prefer the home key)

No worries! Takes awhile to find all the nooks and crannies.
I am using Clean Rom 4.0 and I have search that forum many time looking for an answer.
Since the One X did away with the menu button, how do you access the menu in that that Rom.
For example, I have no way of closing my audible app now because is doesnt have a soft menu key in that app.
I used the muiu rom and it had the menu key to the right of the multitasking key. But alas, this rom does not do that.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks and happy 4th!
the multitask button becomes menu and holding down home gets you the multitask function The way GOD intended
You apparently didn't search at all, your answer is on the first page
Thank you sir! Works like a dream!

@bloodrain954 I just double check the first page and all posts below, maybe I missed it but where did you see it on there? Not being smart, but I'd just really like to know where I missed it.

Scrossler mentions 3 button key remap in the OP but you'd have to know what that meant.

Ah gotcha, Yeah I didn't know what that meant as this is my first 3 button phone. Thanks again
Also, in case you don't know, long pressing the Home button acts as the Multitasking button.

Hi
I just bought the mobile dock to my TF700 from bestbuy for 99dollar and it seems like I got the TF201 one and a metal bottom but whatever. It seems to work out anyway, the color is not matching but function wise there doesn't seem to be any problem.
Anyway, I've noticed that there is a button which doesn't do anything when I use it and I wonder what its function is. It looks like a document, 4 lines going horizontal, the first one being a little longer than the others and is between ALT and CTRL on the right side of the dock.
Menu button?

No. Nothing happens when pushed? You'd think that i'd get to the menu if it was, now wouldn't I?

It won't do anything in the launcher. Try an app :good:

Hello all,
Just playing around with the new version of Fleksy, and I found that if you are at the end of a word and you swipe down (or up) on the keyboard it will cycle between different words that are similar.
If you insert a period, and then swipe down (or up) it will cycle through punctuation marks!
Numbers

There is no info on that in the internet. Would it be hard to program a function like that with an app?
