All you had to do was root your phone and that is it a rooted stock ROM. Now you have to flash stock ROM and root that. there is andybones new ROM.

There's a stock deodexed KG2 and a stock deodexed KD1, they should both have root, and be a stock rom.
Also, this belongs in the General forum, not Development.
Sorry I thought it woul be development bcause it has to do with roms... is the roms u talking about the ones that need to be flashed with odin

No, they are CWM flashable, might have to look back a page or 2.

THE ONLY ROM IN ROM MANAGER COMPATIBLE WITH INFUSE IS INFUSED V 2.2, AND NEVER FLASH IT FROM ROM MANAGER, DOWNLOAD IT AND FLASH IT FROM RECOVERY.....

If the screen turns on, you're not hardbricked, use one of gtg465x's unbrick packages.
So the NS4G finally got the ICS update? Is there any prerequisites, like only available for wifi? Just curious before I go back to stock so I can get it. I only rooted and used a custom ROM to take screenshots. Any help would be appreciated.

If you want to stay rooted you may be better off flashing a stockish rom. There are a few devs who have stock and rooted ready to go. Only thing I would say is to back up beforehand.

I updated my NS4G and then rooted after the fact. No problems here. As for a prerequisite, just backup your SD card since rooting will delete everything

No problem. There's no way unless you flash a custom ROM that's as closed to stock as possible.

^ agreed! flash a custom stock rom in recovery such as beans or synergy...thats as close as you will get to stock without using odin.
Took me awhile to figure this out.
And what I found out is you have to flash one of the stock roms before the kernel or it won't work. You have to be unlocked of course. Flash any Rom in cwm then after it installs and your still in recovery flash the stock kernel. Here's a link to the kernel

You need to flash the kernel modules, you don't mess with the kernel at all. It'll brick the phone.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 2
Ok keynel modules not kernel itself.. Ill add to my sticky notes
