Normal lebanon is not supported as a full software support we have the company but you dont get updates you have firmwaee usuly based on emarats and saudi arabia

Galaxy R was launched in the Indian market with limited stocks so it is not available the market as of now because after the price drop most of Galaxy R's stock was sold out pretty quickly.
Galaxy S Advance is the handset with slightly lower spec and different chipset is in the pipeline to be launched soon without any specific date.
Moreover check out more shops because maybe & I mean in a very rare case you may still get Galaxy R as done of the shops still might have some last pieces.
Do update here whatever you buy.

Hi,
Please do check entire fone in the shop itself. There are chances that he mite be seliin refurnished fones. Please make a thorough check of the product. If purchased then do check d warranty of fone either by online/Hotline No / service center..

The only way to check for a refurbished handset is to check for the seal on the box to be proper and a not a re-sealed/double sealed one.
Though there maybe ways around that too but its the first rule to check the seal.
And use the handset and check every thing you can during the first three days itself as Samsung will replace or make a refund to you if you face any issue and report it to them within 3-4 days of purchase.
Do update when you get one.

Well, the original seal on box can be removed and new one can be placed. you can find such seal in the market.

The phone market is just to the left of where one of the Sector 18 Metro Station Exit leads, opposite of GIP...just look for Nokia Priority in Atta, the shop is to the right of Nokia...

Even LG optimus 2x is better alternative similar to Galaxy R you can get it for 19,500 if you didn't find any store who sells Galaxy R. LG UI is not so gud and u need to go for custom ROM, optimus 2x is having so many custom ROM'S.
i found one sgr in faridabad which cost 21900 looking forward for it

Well i think that this story is half true,
People have been using there R, and only few of them have been facing this issue, including me.
The defect varies from each R. And yes Samsung do give refund if its nt repairable.

I guess there's no way to assure that u will or won't get the defective one. According to my observations (this and other forums' users) I would say that most of the devices are problems-free. I guess not even 10% of users of our community complained over those issues. It's up to you if you take the risk or not.

What tax? Have you ever ordered from ebay? And you get one year warranty from samsung europe not a problem
In Croatia if you order anything that costs more than 160 kn- 22€ (cumulative with shipping) you will pay at least 25% pdv on that price. Sometimes you have to pay tax/customs and then 25% on that. And yes I buy from ebay all the time.

Why is it so difficult to buy one here in Korea? I have been seeing the note 3 for sale at the kiosks but no dice on buy the device without a contract. I have the cash in the bank. I already have a contract with olleh. How come I can not just buy a device and swap sim cards here? I trying not to rant but I am on day seven on trying to find a vendor that would sell.

I don't know! They are crazy here.. I had to pay the remaining balance for the actual device I had on my last contract and also deactivate an old prepaid sim I purchase a few months ago on my account. Then get this one on a new contract... was a bit frustrating. But it was worth it. By the way one company told me $1200 for the phone without a contract. I found one for like $950.

In general it is still a good platform and wont be outdated so fast.
Sony Xperia Z1 maybe worth a look.
Maybe take a look on Nexus 5 or Moto G (available from 21 november)
The s4 would be sufficient for your needs, but keep a look out for the nexus 5 which may release in India sometime soon for around 28,999 INR.(16GB ver) .

It depends on what you need... The nexus 5 is a high-end phone for 350 dollar on Playstore.

The nexus 5 is already available to buy... It has been released on 31 october and the sprint version will be released on 8 november.

Yes there is, Devices are available to buy in india from the Google playstore.

Yes, thats right. I made the mistake of assuming that Google did not cover india with its "Services".
