Xperia V rooted using bin4ry. Using "root checker" confirms root access BUT cannot use any app which requires root access like "wifi pppoe" or "proxydroid".

Try updating your superuser app or using a different version SuperSU vs superuser etc.. its a start

you must have rooted your phone to use root apps. check on google for a how-to guide
su is auto installed when the phone is rooted but installing su on unrooted phone will not help you to install app that needs root access.
You need the su binary for root access :thumbup:

I have rooted my GT p3100 1 year ago but yesterday when I opened root apps such as game cih it showed system denied root permission ,this same happened for game killer
When I used root checker its showing system is rooted

Try to root again. if same prob update with stock firmware nd root again .

Check your root permission manager app (superSu, superuser etc) for any change in root prmissions granted

Yea, I agree with the above. A simple reboot may also help. I know Samsung can be a bit sneaky with updates that can take away root.
Installed Framaroot on my Z740 and superuser. Verified have root access. Just not sure now as to what to do next.
