Isnt it the same baseband
There is no cid information in the names how can I know which one is for htc_102.
By the way I already flashed this firmware [FIRMWARE] Official 3.19.401.101 Firmware but when I try to flash this [ROM] Official 3.19.401.101 OTA it give this error:
assert failed : check_cid(getrop("ro.cid")
Guys thanks a lot for the help. I found an nandroid back up for cid 102 and after flashing it, It updated to last version 3.19.401 although the phone was unlocked. I dont know how but I am happy right now

First of all Hello to every one. I must appreciate the work done by the community members and it is tremendous. I apologize if this has been answered earlier.

I have the RUU for the device which is: RUU_Saga_S_hTC_Asia_India_2.15.720.3_Radio_20.4801.30.0822U_3822.10.08.04_M_release_226809_signed
Now the question: Can I go back to Factory Default Lock i.e. Remove the **** Unlocked *** or ****Re-LOCKED**** ( which can be done using fastboot oem lock ).
Is there any way to get back to the Factory Default Lock as I want to give my device to the Service Center guys due to some speaker issues.
I know, unlocking causes warranty Void and I want to go back to Stock condition to avail warranty.
I have installed the RUU, which does not solve the problem.
If someone can guide me, would really appreciate that.
Thanks in Advance......
No, it isn't.
I tried to downgrade and flash different hboots but the output is always the same.
Another problem is that they already have your phones ID(serial, imei etc)numbers.

Hi
My new Phone was working fine until i decided to S Off and update the firmware. It crashed while updating the new released firmware.
First it would hang during at the beat sensation logo and i have read and tried all sort of firmware but havent been successfull.
I can get into fasboot and recovery that all. And i think i have locked the boot loader again.
I've been reading and downloading almost every rom.firmware etc for the past 14hrs
please find screenshot of fasboot. I would really appreciate if someone could guide me to get the phone back running
Thanks

Your phone is not bricked. do the following fastboot command:
fastboot getvar all
then copy the information here excluding IMEI and serial no.
Also copy out the text from your hboot into a post

No need to unlock the bootloader for flashing firmware.. Just get the 3.33 universal firmware and try it.. If the bootloader didn't found it then the below way
Copy the PG58IMG.zip file to the adb folder
Then these commands one by one
fastboot erase cache (if failed ignore it)
fastboot oem rebootRUU (black screen with silver htc)
fastboot flash zip PG58IMG.zip (post the output of this command if failed)
fastboot reboot-bootloader (reboots to bootloader)

First boot can sometimes take 5 minutes +
Are you SURE it is hanging/crashing?
Just try waiting. If you are flashing correct RUU and everything goes OK, ie is successful, then it simply HAS to boot (unless you have an internal fault.

yes you need to download the original RUU and run it. It is a good idea to keep your RUU saved on your computer incase you ever need to use them. You will lose custom recovery when you run RUU if memory serves

Hi guys.
I`ve been searching the forum for a way to find the correct RUU for my One S but didn`t manage to do so following the different threads that explain how to do this. I guess I`m not as smart as I think I am..
Anyway, I`ll paste my phone details here and I`d appreciate it if someone who`s more experienced than me could point me in the right direction.
My phone was on stock 4.1.2 when I got it and all I did to it was unlock bootloader, install recovery & flash CM 10.

No, you can supercid before S-OFFing. But if you often switch between roms and tamper with the phone I suggest that you S-OFF, it's useful in many ways.

Ah, that`s exactly what I was going to flash. I already have CM 10.0 flashed on it. I only had to unlock it through HTC Dev to install a custom recovery needed for flashing. But now I want to get it back to stock before I flash CM 10.2 or a stock version of Android based on CM 10.1. I guess I`ll have to do some more research on this before flashing.
Thank you all for your responses. This is why I love this community.
Sorry to bother you again with my stupid questions, but what is the latest RUU/OTA firmware available for the HTC ONE S? I found a few sources but all the files are stored randomly or by upload date, which most of the time would do, bu a lot of them are uploaded on the same date.

Okay you can use the RUU with SuperCID. But after using the RUU, don't update via OTA or you'll brick your phone.
That said, This RUU will help you get stocked again. I looked on previous page and your Original CID was HTC__102. You may have known now that SuperCID has no use now that we have S-OFF, so you might consider changing your CID back.
Good Luck!

Click to collapse
you can't supercid while on S-ON
flash stock rom from 4ext and see how it goes
link in my signature
before flashing format all partitions except sdcard from 4ext
enable smartflash from it
I unlocked the boot loader and rooted and gained superuser on my htc one s, I have two Htc one s one is already rooted and moonshine s-off but this new one i bought on ebay came is branded with cincinnati bell never here of them, i flashed with cyogenmod nightly 11 and everything was working, i even made a back up of stock rom but i some how deleted my back ups and the installed custom rom got deleted now im stuck with no rom and no stock rom, I can't find the stock ruu file for it, I have managed to copy over my back up from my tmobile htc one s that is rooted and moonshine s-off and did a restore on the htc one s from cincinnati bell and it boots up but if a try to change the rom or anything it goes back to not working. I have searched for Htc_017 and can't find anything on it the phone is a USA phone.I can't get my computer to recognize the phone in fastbook or booted in to the restored rom but i can connect to sd card and i cant get some features of adb to recognize the device is connected. also I can flash a rom to it and boot in but i have no radios or baseband, the network and wifi wont work nor will some of the phone settings. I relly could use some help, I have tried to s-off it in the state it is in but it wont full recognize my phone. help please Im trying to get back to stock so I can get the phone to work again .
