Updating non-country apps in Play Store?

Like the play store now seems to recognised pre-installed apps (some of them anyway like Twitter), is it possible to get it to recognise apps which have been installed from an apk - mainly those which are unavailable in my country and have been installed outside of the Play Store.
If these were stock apps installed on the system by my provider would the Play Store recognise them?

[APP] Google Search for Android 2.2+

Google has removed the old Google Search app from Google Play, they are now only supporting 4.1. This is the last version (1.3.3.247963) downloaded from Google Play that supports 2.2+. I don't know why Google decided to remove the old version of this app from Google Play, but for those of you who want it you can grab it here.

Google Play services, which some of your applications rely on, is not supported

Since 2 days i am getting this error, "Google Play services, which some of your applications rely on, is not supported by your device". Google play music, when i try to play the music it doesn't work, i found a work around open the google play store and then play the music it works, anyone else facing similar issue.
version : Google Play services 7.5.74 (1997312-438)
anything to do with the Greenify app, because i have opted to forcefully greenify google play service, when i manually open the google play store in the background it open the play service and music can be played.

Yes. Do not greenigy Play services, since a lot of apps rely them on. Use Privacy Guard do disable the features you do not want.

Seems obvious to me, don't Greenify apps like that. It's like Greenify-ing the phone app and then wondering why you're not receiving any calls.

Google Play Music voice integration has been ruined since Google Home came out

Before Google Home came on the market I was able to use Google Assistant (and Google Home before that) to ask my phone to play particular songs or albums for instance I could say "OK Google play Iggy Pop - The Passenger" or "OK Google play Queens of the Stone Age - Villains (Album name)" and it would happily select it and play it.
Now since Google Home has appeared on the market if I ask the above I get a response saying that "Sorry the (insert Song title or Album name) isn't available in your area".
However this music is in my Google Play Music library and cached onto my phone so I don't see why I should pay for a subscription just to be able to get Google Assistant to play nicely with it.
In the end I have to ask Google Assistant to just play Iggy Pop (I can't select a particular album or track), then Google Play Music will try and play an Album I don't have and will usually have an error on the phone saying Offline playback not supported and then sometimes it will do nothing other times the whole app will crash.
I'm doing all of this whilst I'm driving so I can't have too much interaction with my phone, to try and manually select the music, so its a real pain.
I'm using a Google Pixel 2 XL, connected to my car via bluetooth.
Is anyone else seeing this problem and is there any remedy?
