GTalk Continually Crashing - Asus Transformer TF700

My GTalk keeps crashing. I have CROMI 3.4.7 with data2sd installed.
Every now and then I get a message telling me that some google api process (or something like that) has crashed. I'll start up Gtalk again, and the same thing happens soon after that.
Sorry I can't provide any other real details, but figured I'd see if anyone else has seen anything like this on their machines.

"Download Unsuccessful" Market error

I'm running TnTlite 4.1. I can't seem to keep my GTablet running for more than a couple of days before something goes wrong and it becomes unusable. Whether it's acore errors, ADW launcher crashing and requiring constant reboots, or now the newest inability to download from the market, it always seems to be something. The advice for most of the problems is to just re-install TnTLite, or whatever rom you're using. Do people view this as a reasonable solution to every problem, where you're constantly just waiting for the next time the thing breaks again?
Anyway, I am now completely unable to download anything from the Market. Everything says the download failed. I see the issue popping up on other devices, and workarounds to fix which involve clearing cache on the Market and several other Apps (some of which I don't have), but this isn't working for me. Has anyone else come across this issue? How did you fix it? I'm about at wits end with this tablet. I've spent way more time attempting to make this thing usable than I have actually using it.

[Q] flash to CyanogenMod 7.1; Market not working!

So I flash to the CyanogenMod 7.1. I went to back stock before I did. Now I cant download anything at all. I keep getting "insufficent space on the device" no matter what app I try to install. Whats happening?
Also, when I start typing to search for an app, what shows up in the "drop down suggestion box" is 'java.lang.NullPointerExpception' Why?
Something else I am noticing is that every time I reboot my phone, it starts up like its starting up for the first time. Asking for my Google account info, forgetting my wifi access point, resetting the wallpaper/widgets, etc. Is it a bad flash??
EDIT: After a /system format, clear all caches, and re-flash things seem ok now...

I had the same problem, and the same solution. I have no idea why, since I had been using 7.1 for several weeks with no problems before the market issue developed. In any case, a reflash/cache clear solved it.
Since we're on the discussion of market and cyanogenmod, anyone know how to fix the market so it shows all apps? I've been pulling my hair out trying ot figure this one out for the last 24 hours. I changed my build prop ro.product.model to "SAMSUNG-SGH-I897" From just saying "SGH-I897", someone said that would work, and guess what? It didn't. I have no idea how to get terminal commands to work either, I did it by downloading an app called rom toolbox from the market.

Words with Friends crashing

Has anyone else had a problem with WwF force closing the past couple of days? Not sure if there was an update to it or not, but as of yesterday, any time I try to play, I get a FC. Uninstalled and reinstalled, cleared cache, fixed permissions, no change. I even did a Superwipe and installed a different ROM (was having issues with Revolution anyway), and even on a clean install, with no restored apps, just downloading WwF by itself, I get a FC.
Not the end of the world, but I play this every day and I'm stumped on how to fix it if it's something on my end.
Edit: Looking at the log, it looks like one of my current games is causing the error, returning a number from the Zynga side at some point that isn't an integer, which is causing the game to crash when writing to the DB. Guess I'll have to wait til one of those games ends.
It happened to me too. I've done every from re-installing it to the compatability mode and it still crashes on me.
Me too. Looks to be program problem. Everyone noting this in the market. Does anyone have a previous release?
Well good to know it's not just me, I can stop trying to fix it myself now Weird thing is, it's just the tablet version -- the one on my Evo 3D works fine, and I'm pretty sure it's been updated as well.
wwf
ive been having issues with my wff taking a long time to update i also have the app on my phone and it updates much quicker on there vs the tablet any ideas?
Yeah same here. Maybe it's just that the synchronization is off -- I think it checks every 5 minutes, so the 5 minute loop on my phone may be happening at the 1 minute mark on my tablet. Wish you could manually refresh.
I wrote Zynga with the trace details about the error, hopefully others have too and they'll get this worked out soon.
It looks like an update came through overnight. It looks like it's working again on my Asus EEE Pad Tablet again.

[Q] Play Store v. 5.1.1 crashes immediately upon opening, HELP!

This issue has just started happening to me over the past 2-3 days, and I cannot figure out a permanent fix for it! Let me start by saying that my OPO is not rooted, and the only updates to the ROM have been the official ones that have been released (I'm currently on CM version 11.0-XNPH44S). Every time I attempt to open the Play Store, it crashes immediately afterward with the "unfortunately google play store has stopped" error. I looked at the error report and it states : [CRASH] com.android.vending threw java.lang.IllegalArguementException as the subject then the first line of the content reads: "java.lang.illegalarguementexception: view android.widget.listview{41ab7730 VFED.VC. .F...... 0,0-1080,1845 #7f0a02dd app:id/play_drawer_list} is not a drawer".
I know nothing about Java, so I have no idea what this means, and there are 18 lines of equally incomprehensible text after that. I've tried clearing the data, cache, etc. from the app with no change. The only thing that works is when I uninstall the updates, taking the Play Store back to v. 4.9.13. However, in almost all cases it auto-updates immediately back to 5.1.1, so I'm still not able to use it. I read somewhere about disabling the background data usage in settings, but then you're not allowed to download anything from the store.
Is anyone else having the same issue, or can you suggest an idea as to how to fix it without my rooting the device and having to back up the nearly 700 apps I have on it? TYSM in advance!

Same problem here, any fix yet?

How to stop aplications stop asking for update?(Android)

To try to summarize, it is a bank application in my country. The application does not work on routed devices, but it has some ways to get around this. The problem is that the latest version of this app force closes every five seconds on routed devices, preventing anyone from logging into the app. If I install an old version it stops the closures, but when you input the right loggin, the application shows a message asking to update and it is not possible to skip or proceed, unless updating it.
If you update, the crashes come back and is impossible to continue the loggin process.
Apparently, people who already have an old version and is already logged in can still use it normally and the message asking to update does not appear, but people trying to loggin, cant proceed.
I would like to know if there is any way to disable this update check. I tried using APK Editor to change the old version number to the latest version number, but when I do that and install the edited apk, it doesn't even start; I get a message telling that the application has stopped working the moment I click on it.
I believe these thread has the answer, though I can confirm since the images are not there anymore; also, it's not the market, it's the application that gives me the screen asking to update, so maybe this thread would'nt help me even if it still had the images. -> https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...om-checking-for-update-in-the-market.1460224/
