Hey folks, I've been searching like crazy to find it but can't find any info. Is there a way to install fresh firmware on these devices. I don't want custom anything, I have a feeling that the firmware on this device is corrupted but can't get it into recovery mode. I have been able to get it into what appears to be a download mode(shows a lightning bolt and gear) Trying to fix it for a friend, but not having much luck. Any help would be massively appreciated.

Hey everyone,
I managed to root this phone and I figured that the LG Ally and the Shine Plus were the same so I followed a guide on a another forum telling how to force the Froyo update on the Ally which I tried on the Shine Plus (big mistake) now I can't even boot at all let alone in to recovery. It will turn on, flash the white screen with the LG logo and then turn off. Can anyone help me reset the phone to factory or at least make it to recovery or something? Or can someone tell me how to install an image to the phone from my computer? I've looked every where and I have no idea what to do. So thanks for the help in advanced.
Just a quick bump, but I really need to fix this. Anyone?
Wow man, that really sucks. Not really sure what you can do. If you're not even getting to recovery there may be nothing. But don't take my word on it. Just hopefully someone with a solution will reply.

download the LG update tool. Choose your country, then connect your phone to the computer.
It should see it and ask you to update it to the latest OEM software.

hi im new to rooting and searched everywhere for the help i need and cant find it.
i rooted my phone with advance ace hack kit and my pc crashed half way through . now my phone is stuck on white screen which goes black and backlit.i took it to a shop and they said it needs reflashing .i try to connect my phone to pc but as i cant get it to load any thing but the boot menu i wont work .. a ny help will be muchly appreciated

Hello XDA, I have a problem with my newly acquired phone that I'd like to ask you guys about.
I'm not exactly a noob when it comes to rooting and flashing android devices, but I've researched and scoured the internet about this problem!
It seems that whenever I try to boot my phone into recovery (CWM), it just flashes the Huawei logo and shows a bright blue screen for an eternity. What's the problem here? I've tried several recovery.img files, but they all seem to do the same thing... I'm on B919 so everything should be all set. Do I have to go through all the steps again and hope for another result, or am I doing something wrong?
Please help! It'd be appreciated a lot!

Try the attached recovery.img.
Hi my friend tried to fix her tf101 by herself and somehow made it to recovery mode and deleted something to do with nvidia as best as I can out of her.
I am trying to fix it for her, can someone help me?
I have downloaded the drivers to my pc, and already have adb, but I don't know how to tell if I am even able to boot it into download mode.
Now, if it is coming on or not, there is a blank screen.
I have done some searches here but this seems to be a new one. hoping this is not totally bricked.

Where can I find "Send_command.exe" to use with my LG G4 (H811) in "download mode"? Is it a device- or manufacturer-specific thing? Or does the same one work on all Android phones?
My phone can't get past the Cyanogenmod boot logo, and it seems I borked my recovery, as detailed here. I can get into download mode, so I'm thinking that's my best bet to install a usable recovery, so I can fix this without wiping.
