Hi all here, sorry if I ask a trivial question but I would like to share my SD stored media between the Stock boot and the CM10/CM10.1 one, better if I can see those folder in windows via the USB port.
I tried to install NookHD-HDplus-SDSwap.zip as didnt find the mentioned "NookHD-stock-fix-vold-for-dual-boot-hybrid-swapped.zip" but I still think those are not aiming to solve this.
Any hint or link to a old thread ? I didnt find any but the files before searching for the subject.
Best, Martin.

Those zips are still available. The one you want is in my Hybrid thread linked in my signature. The versions there work on both the HD and the HD+. And it was made just for the purpose you mentioned. Choose either the swapped or not swapped.
Edit: This thread is in the wrong forum. It should be in the HD/HD+ Q&A forum. This forum is for development. Moderator, please move.

Hi,
Before posting this thread I check if someone else had the same question.
I have a X10 mini pro:
U20 i
2.1-update 1
2.1.1.A.0.6
As many of us, I'm very disappointed about not having the possibility to update the firmware above 2.1
What I'm looking for is mainly having the possibility to:
-Store app to the SD card
-Making folders for the pictures of the camera
I had a look to the different opportunity to boot the phone and to install a custom rom. But I didn't found a clear way to do it.
I'm looking for a rom with no bugs
I'm looking for a tutorial with links to follow.
If there is a way to do it without installing a new rom it ill be nice as well
If you can help
cheers
Please use the Q&A Forum for questions Thanks

Why not try this -

Thanks for you reply.
adding this new roms seems quite complicated to me.
I don't know how to do it, is there a link explaining how to do it?
If I'm changing the rom, I would like something stable, I would like to continue to use the camera, radio etc... as I saw some custom roms do ot allowed it anymore.
The main features I'm looking for is adding the app to the SD card and making folders for the camera.
thanks for your help

Which all belong in Sensation Q&A
Easy answer bite the bullit and reformat the card, it's been corrupted so obviously that has to be done. Long answer google free data retrieval software spend hours quite likely recovering nothing
ziggy if you read the post you might get the hint I was fishing if this might have something to do with the latest build I know where the q and a is but thats a general forum. I wanted to know about this build if anyone else had a problem, thanks for the reply
Sd-cards will fail on virtually every make of phone regardless of model or OS. This is Development not general fishing/random brain f***s what development is in your post?
The elagencia thread would have been more appropriate to see if that build had a problem, no need for a new thread at all

No you're STILL in the wrong forum section and this is ONLY for posting of new ROM uploads and Mods. Not your questions.. You should have asked this INSIDE Elegancia thread. Just reformat dude. Your data is gone and NO it's not a bug from Elegancia because I'm running it now.

Hello guys!
I have installed Cyanogenmod 3.7.0 (android 2.3.7 version). It's MALGDR installed.
I want back to stock, but I'm not sure how.
I have downloaded the ROM from local HTC-site.
The rom is put on SD-card, so should I erase everything on SD card and make a partiinion FAT32 or can I do this AFTER I have installed WinMO 6.5?
Or could this occur some corrupt data or something during installl? Any help is highly appreciated.
Also, when I will start installing. Should I use the method on using VOLUME DOWN + POWER ON button, to get into that tri-colour screen and then plug in USB, wait for it to connect and then just drive from computer?
When I run the ROM from the computer it is like random rom install. It has to detect the device etc.. for it to install. This will not be any problem?
Thanks alot guys. I really hope someone with education around this will help me out.
Please any help!!
would like to give it a bump, so perhaps someone can help me.

I'd be very surprised if you were the 1st person to want to go from a Magldr booting ROM back to WM, so the answers you need are probably already there. I pointed you there purely because you'd be surprised how many people don't know their devices have specific forums.
Edit: Here you go. A quick google search found this...

Wow, that was a real nice thread. But I'm wondering about if I install without deleting partitions on SD card, and just run the ROM-file that I downloaded from HTC.
Can I do this? I'm really not sure how to exceed this prodedure, since I want radio and HSPL being all original.
Thanks for the thread though, mate. Hope you can help me out perhaps here!
I was trying out different ROMs based on AOKP and CM9 on my device and I have finally chose to use the CM9 one. How can I remove "boot AOKP" from the start up? Does the present of the AOKP ROM take up space in my device? Thanks in advance.
You'll need to provide more details. What device do you have and what is this start menu? What rom is it?
And it shouldn't be taking up space on your system if you have CM installed. just taking space on your sd or internal flash memory.

I have an HP touchpad and I have installed this rom in both AOKP and CM9 version: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1501637
The CM9 is better so I decided to keep using it. How do I remove unnecessary stuff from previously installed ROM?
The start up menu means the one with black background and blue text for you to choose which OS to boot. Sorry for being a noob

lol, no problem. Its just commonly a good thing to state your device and what your running if you don't have that info in your signature, and always be as descriptive as possible. We love to help, but it makes it hard if we don't have something to go off of
I'm assuming you have some custom recovery installed like CWM recovery. Basically in recovery you would have had to of wiped before you flashed CM or your device wouldn't have booted. If it did, then we have a miracle on our hands When you wipe it removes all little bits of your previous rom. I suppose if you are still concerned there is an issue, you could just reboot back to recovery again and wipe everything except your sd and internal (not familiar with the device if it has those), and then just reflash the rom with gapps.
As far as the start menu I have no clue, I don't own that device to know how to remove or modify it. If I had to guess, I'd say it has something to do with the bootloader, and you should look around for a custom one on the forums that is modded for what you want.
Anyways, this is all just basic stuff and may not apply for the touchpad. If anything, just ask in the q&a section for the device that way a dev for that device can help. http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1467
I know you are new here so I'll just let you know real quick before I go, each device on XDA has five subforums.
TouchPad:
General
Q&A
Accessories
Development
Themes and Apps
So in the future if you have questions, the Q&A section for the TouchPad will be the best place to ask. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind helping, i just don't know the device like your actual devs would. Good luck!

Hi this is my first thead in this site
I own a galaxy s2 plus rooted on android 4.2.2 jelly bean
My problem is I have a memory issue and when I looked to which app or folder took the most space I found out that the total used space (by sum each app or file size) was only 1.5 gb while the system shows 3.4 of used space !!!!
I really want a solution for that problem cause I need much space
Ps. I am also looking for a way to move app with all of irs data to the external sd card if someone provides that it will be very helpful
There's a dedicated forum for your phone too you know. This one is for Galaxy SII,not for SII Plus.
Sorry iam new here and I didnt know that so how can I move the post?
But are there any solutions for my problem

Ask mods to move it.I'm sure you'll get more help there than here.
I dont know how is this done But I think Its done this way:
Can any moderetor move this thread to samsung galaxy sII plus 19105 subforum
Mods will never see it that way, they don't randomly cruise the forums reading every thread to see if it needs moving or not. The previous poster should have told you to click the triangle with the ! in the top R corner of your first post to report it & in the report tell mods where you need it to be moved to given these are your first posts here (rather than assuming you'd know how to do it).
