Google play payment

Okay so when I tried downloading the tapatalk app from Google play and selected carrier billing things went awry. I wanted to finally try it out but I got an email saying my purchase was cancelled. I'm a new user here so I'm apologizing in advance cause I'm probably doing at least one thing wrong. Using a pretty much stock ics rom, deodexed and zipaligned, all that good stuff, stock kernel, rooted. Don't know if any of that makes a difference but there you go.
After receiving that email any further attempts to download rezult in a weird server error message, pic included

Open up the play store and hit the menu button (the first one on the left at the bottom) and uncheck update over wifi only. If that box is checked the play store will not communicate with your carrier. Also be sure your mobile data is own. I had the same problem trying to charge to ATT and that is what worked for me.....

I had to set up a Google Wallet account. I use that for my Play store purchases now.

Help... No display pictures of Facebook synced contacts

Hey guys I am using sony xperia go...
I just logged into facebook and synced all the contacts of Facebook. Now the thing is that all the FB contacts are synced but there are no Thumbnail display pictures of them as you can see in the pic I attached

I have used android phones before and as you all know tht FB profile pics are also displayed with FB synced contacts...
So Plz help me guys to solve this... I am even connected to wifi and auto sync is on. Plz tell me what to do ??

Try an external app, such as "Facebook contact sync" or "HaxSync". Seems to work best.

i had a similar problem on my galaxy mini. i paid no attention to it. i synced using the settings on the phone and no diffrence but one day one by one each picture began to appear. it took a total of four days for me. so i suggest do a sync through android settings. wait it out see what happens.

email application help

i need an email app.
since i got my phone i've been using hotmail which was great until outlook took it over now the app sux. i can only link one account and whenever i try to access setting within the app it force closes.
i downloaded aquamail which i like but it only lets you have 2 email addy's linked. i frequently use around 6....
there is a stock app called email but it doesnt seem to support hotmail accounts idk it asks me to chose is the account imap, exchange or pop3 i've tried all 3 and none work.
i've downloaded other apps but they give me similar choice and fail to connect.
can anyone recomend a free app that will work with hotmail accounts?

Outlook app supports multiple accounts. Just swipe to the right to access menu, then click on the little arrow to the left of ur account name.

Try using k9mail here http://code.google.com/p/k9mail/, you can also try using MailDroid.

People app FC

try going to the phones main settings, apps, all, contacts.. now press the clear data button. do the same with the contacts storage app. reboot and try opening contacts again.

That did it. Thank you my friend. I tried clearing contacts data before to no avail. But after clearing that and the contacts storage, it works fine now. I wonder what corrupted the data?

who knows.. random stuff like this happens often enough. clearing all the data associated with it usually fixes the issue. some kind of data in the app corrupted, that we know. what it was would only be a guess

I have a similar issue. When trying to configure this extension I am prompted to choose which account I want to use from the 2 on my phone. After selecting the account that has my All Access for Google Play, I receive a toast saying that the account I selected will be used. However I see no change where it mentions what account I am using. I am unable to access anything from Google Play using this extension. I tried rebooting the phone and tried configuring it multiple times as well.
Any ideas what could be wrong?

Has ANYONE got this extension to work correctly?

Hello,
Google recently locked up the Google Music API for third party apps. We just issued an update on the Play Store to address this, spoofing as the real Google Play Music app. Once you get the update (in the coming hours from this post), you will need to log-in again, and it will work like prior the API lockdown.
Let me know if you still have issues after that !
