Hi to you all !
Starting from Old.splatterhand flashable JB stock rom from rom 2.14.401.6
I wanted to remove everything that bothered me with the stock HTC rom... and so here it is !
Thanks a lot to Bkcokota, Jmztaylor and Old.splatterhand for everything they did in the One SV topic (and more).
Special extra thanks to old.splatterhand since I'm just taking stuff off his stock rom : DANKE, MAN !
WHAT IT IS :
New
v1.3 : some bugs fixed, thanks to old.splatterhand's stock rom
v1.2 : Bluetooth working ! (thx to old.splatterhand)
v1.1 : even lighter !
Basically all bloatware and most HTC and google apps and widgets are gone, except for :
- HTC browser
- HTC gallery and video player
- HTC Sense launcher and lockscreen (including the shortcut one)
- HTC Clock
- Google play
and your usual phone, message app, email app, agenda app, FM Radio, calculator, camera.
I removed the boot sound and put old.splatterhand bootanim.
HOW TO USE :
It's not very unusual...
0 Prerequisites
Have a k2_ul version of the HTC One SV, with CWM or TWRP recovery (take a look here)
Understand that you're the only person responsible if anything goes wrong !
1 Download rom v1.3 and put zip file on your SD card. (edit : updated link 130923)
2 Boot in CWM
3 Make a backup, and keep it somewhere safe
4 Wipe data, cache and dalvik
5 Flash rom zip
5' (Flash superuser if you want to root, the rom is not rooted)
6 Reboot
...

I have guestion, my sv is unlocked and rooted, twrp loaded but I have 4.1.2 updated and s-on. Can I make backup in twrp before install this Rom to recover later my oryginal stock Rom?

I didn't create anything with this rom, i just took stuff away from old.splatterhand's stock rom to ke it lighter, that's it !

It's the stock kernel, but i made the same thing with the 4pda-wp-removed kernel/rom.
You can remove as many language packs as you want, but if you're looking into the system/app folder, they're just for the keyboard.

Thanks, I will remove the language packs before I flash and as long as the kernel has wp-removed then its fine, just so I can change further system apps after I install, going to flash it very soon, just want to make some further changes if that's OK with you, just for myself, not anybody else, im just waiting for the deoxed app and framework to finish downloading.

No, I wasn't clear, this one has the stock boot (ie : with wp), but I can send you a link with the same thing (light version) of 4PDA's rom, with a wp removed kernel.
And go ahead, do whatever you want with it, it's not mine I just took stuff away from old.splatterhand's stock rom !
In my opinion you should create a topic or at least report in this one or another one if you accomplish anything interesting !

It seems wp is removed in this rom, but wifi not working, fixed that by flashing the files from Russian kernel, only been on my phone for 5 mins though so still playing, how can I add apk's to the flashable zip so they install whilst the rom is being flashed, like a couple of widgets I want and just want Facebook for HTC sense back too ?
Took lots of hard work but ive finally got my perfect rom, well nearly perfect, just need to change a couple of things, and at the moment its 4 different flashable files, I need to figure out how to complie that into one flashable zip, everything is working, will need to have a chat with old.splatterhand and make sure he's ok with me posting it as its his original base, so a very big thanks to him :good: as far as I know this is for K2-UL only but dont quote me on that as im very new to this, I know to get it all into one file I need to adjust the updater script, but new to that too so I need to compile all the parts from that also, but so far with all the different parts being flashed separately its working.

Hi.
That's weird because the kernel DOES have wp, and wifi IS working. Did you already update to JB and Hboot 2.00 ?
I guess either you have S-OFF or hboot v1, or you flashed the russian kernel before flashing this rom and you didn't flash the stock kernel back.
Other than that, what you could do in order to have only one zip to flash is download old.splatterhand's flashable stock rom, and just remove what you don't want, or just take the apps you want and add them to "my" zip. I didn't change the update-script.

So, i made a little rom/theme for the I9001.
It's based on the stock rom XXKPS 2.3.6.
I tweaked it a little with help from kkrraazzyy. He provided me the framework.
I also added the tweak from pikachu01 "thunderbolt"
It has:
- ThunderBolt-CWM v2.1.6
-ThunderBolt-CWM 50MB LMK Others addon v1.0.1
- ThunderBolt-CWM screenstate_scaling addon v1.2.3
- ThunderBolt-CWM bin files addon v1.1.0
- ThunderBolt-CWM libsqlite addon v1.0.0.zip
This rom/theme is also been rooted with the tweak:
- Easy ROOT/UNROOT from Recovery Mode
It it only a start for me with develloping for android. I never have done this before so spare me for my faults in the rom

This is only a test version. So if someone wants to try this out i will upload the files.

How to install:
1. Place the ANDROID+ROCKFUSION+V1.0.zip to your internal SD card.
2. Do a clean flash with I9001XXKPS (use odin V4.43 an AriesV.ops).
3. Wait till the phone reboots and press the home button when u see the droid out of the box icon.
4. Choose "apply update from zip".
5. Choose the zip file from the SD card.
6. Let it install and then turn your phone on.
7. Enjoy your version of ROCKFUSION rom V1.0
Dont EVER! whipe data.
The rom is rooted.
You only need to install FeaMod1.2 if you want it to.

I think u can install it over your existing rom.
But i am not sure.. i tested only with a clean rom.

i dont know but tried to install but with no luck , still dont know why but i think the script seems not complete (not sure but lest see other testers). i tried with running xxkps installed in cwm with no luck it gets stuck in the script. then tried clean flash and installed, the phone goes off and not reboot till i on it then bootloop. Again like i said it mybe me not the rom, unless we hear from other testers
Everytime you flash a new stock rom you have to root it, install busybox, get the better graphics driver, flash FeaModRecovery and so on.
This can take a lot of time.
So I had the idea of making an All in One Package (AIO) for this which is flashable via stock recovery.
You "need" this AIO-Package only if you want to use a stock rom. The most Custom Roms already include this.
This AIO-Package includes:

- as soon as the "SAMSUNG" appears release both buttons after 2 seconds
- as soon as the "Android out of the Box" appears, press the Menu button.
4. Use Volume buttons to choose apply update from sdcard in Recovery Menu.[Press Home-Button]
5. Navigate to AIO_Package_v1.zip [Press Home Button]
6. Restart your phone

Flash v1.2 via Odin is the safest method for everyone

How-To change the bootanimation:
1. Search for a bootanimation.zip/sanim.zip on google/xda
2. Have a look in the zipfile especially desc.txt:
Be sure that the resolution in desc.txt is 480 800
3. Now you have to replace the sanim.zip in /system/media/ with the one you choose. Be sure that your file is named sanim.zip too.
Therefore you can use a fileexplorer with rootaccess (like RootExplorer) or do it via adb.
Nice package, this one is definitely needed after flashing most roms

Should work. But you could UnRoot your ROM first with the UnRoot package by KeksKlip and then flash this AIO-Package
If you want to backup your ROM as it is now you need to flash FeaModRecovery first. Then you can do a full BackUp of your existing ROM.
But If you only want to able to do a BackUp in near future the AIO-Package is also including FeaModRecovery so after you flash it you can also do a BackUp.
So its up to you. Hope I understood you right and this helped you.

Anyone want to change the bootanimation can pick i9000 galaxy s bootanimation...its the same size, i use the nexus bootanimation before this, taken from galaxy s thread on xda...

its a collection of all the mods and stock kernel with init.d support (not facore_phoenix kernel). You have to flash any stock kernel 1st.
Based on LH2
Pre-rooted
No yellow triangle at boot (means no custom kernel or recovery included, it's your choice! That way if you want root and warranty you can! Just don't forget to keep a copy of your stock rom)

Flash with odin. It will not increase custom download count!
The kernel should be flashed trough cwm (if installed or not odin will not replace it). You can also flash it trough the terminal or adb.
No apps added, just a clean rom. Don't ask to include apps.
If you need/want an app get some kind of root explorer and add it yourself.
The usual disclaimer applies. Use at your own risk.
You are encouraged to use this as your base rom and cook things into it.

Not really I only changed the compression from zip to 7z. It's better takes less time to upload and less time to download.

Data works but you must manualy configure it. If it's stuck go to recovery and wipe cache/data. Keep in mind that it takes longer to boot the first time since its deodexed.

It's not tested. It's deodexed and optimized so it might not work, I've uploaded the stock keyboard too in case you want it. Anyway I hate touchwiz way more than stock gingerbread so don't expect many touchwiz things to last forever in this rom.
i had use this rom & switch back to stock rom with odin coz i didn't find any difference in it...just delete some stock application..we can delete in with root explorer & link2sd...come with some another idea bro...speed is same as stock rom...some games r lagging in this ROM...

Games lag because of the crappy cpu and gpu.I'm still in exams so I don't have many time to add features. The real feature would be an stock ics rom for this phone. Even the cheap live walkman has ics, samsung on the other hand doesn't care about it's users.

Are you confortable with adb? If so you can flash system.img trough recovery and adb. I currently don't use cwm so I can't properly test the update.zip itself but I might create an update.zip and upload it for you to test.

Hi everyone ! This is my first ROM for the HTC ONE S i recently came from the HTC SENSATION.
I wanted to start off with putting my base out for everyone to use.
I didn't remove the bloat on one of them because I don't want to remove any apps people might use.
I plan to release a De-bloated version by Sunday so if you are interested in that i would wait or you can download this one and just remove the apps yourself. This is based off the 2.35.531.7.710RD TMOUS RELEASE.
I have been using this ROM for weeks now and i have not had any problem, its a very stable build and the battery life is as good as stock which i get 2 days or more depending on usage.

I'd like to see center clock with no am/pm and long press to skip track. And not through a tweaks app. Just on by default.

idk about the long press to skip track that a bit of work decompiling the android.policy.jar, im sure there are mods out there you can apply
I know a lot of people like the 1% battery but there are a lot of us that do not want it as well. Any chance that could be an option and not default?
The ability to center the status bar clock or remove it completely would be nice as well.

1% stock battery would be great! Nice work on this.
Finally another US Rom hope the WiFi works when I try it. I've been running venom but miss WiFi calling but when I switch back to other US Roms WiFi doesn't work ??

Wi-Fi will not work on US 2.35 build unless you either run RUU or run the OTA update. Some firmware is needed for Wi-Fi to work on this build.

There are partitions that you can flash, of your hboot is low enough. Search the T-Mobile trick droid thread someone posted them.
I'm able to switch between latest T-Mobile and older roms with WiFi working.

I have this error below in trickdroid 7.0.0 and stock 2.35. I think the problem is in stock 2.35 and when you build the rom base on stock 2.35,this error still exist. Can you try to find out and fix the error,please?
The error is: I have contact list (phone book), let make example: Mr. A - cell phone no 09010001000.
When he call me, it aspears on my phone his name & number, that's right.
But when he text me, on my phone there is just only aspeared his number w no name (plus Vietnam code: +849010001000).
It meant that my phone did not understand the call and text were come from one number only, they automatically add-in my country code (as I said +84 Vietnam).
Before with ver 1.84 we did not get this error.

This is a modified version of marius 4.0.4 ROM from here with a MULTI-LANG
I've just took the last 3.5 deodexed version and added languages to all applications I was able to, so it's now fully multi-lang version. I've been using it for the last 2-3 weeks and I've found following issues (they are the same as in 3.5 version):
- MMS work, but I was able to send MMS only when using 2G, so I guess it could be marked as solved
- Calendar don't work - THIS IS NOT TRUE!!!!!
But just in case I've removed the google calendar app from this ROM, you can install it from Play Store. Then after upgrading all Google apps you should be able to synchronize your calendar. If you still have problems with synchroniztion just go simply into Settings/Account settings and uncheck/check calendar synchronization few times, it will start working after few tries (even up to 10 tries). You could have the same problem with contact synchronization, but just do the same thing as with calendar.
- Battery is another problem. For me the phone didn't worked longer then 24hrs (battery is quite new - 6 months), I wasn't able to do anything about this, as far as I've found in marius thread this is one of the problem that others also have, so I guess it will have to stay like this.
- I wasn't able to install any of Backup applications (Titanium Backup, My backup PRO, ...). To solve this you will have to install the app from recovery (works for 100%).
- I didn't have time to check other things.
DO A FULL WIPE before upgrading from 3.5.1 to 3.5.2.
Here is an installation instruction, if you want this ROM working do it STEP BY STEP:
1. Download ROM from here
2. Download SMS/MMS application (I've simply forgot to add it to ROM, so there is the old not multilang version) here
3. Reboot to recovery.
4. Perform a full wipe (except SD card of course)
5. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT STEP - reboot the phone to recovery before installing the ROM (4ext has such options in Power Menu, I don't know if other recoveries have it) - If you install the ROM right after wiping the old one without reboot you have 90% of chances that after the phone boots up you will have a lot of FCs from some google apps, reboot solves this problem.
6. Install ROM - after installation phone will be rebooted and you will have to configure it for the first time (multilang since 3.5.2)
7. If you get a lot of FCs after reboot do a full wipe again, recovery reboot (try to do this twice) and install ROM once again.
8. Install SMS/MMS app, I've forgot to add the multilang version to ROM, I will fix that in next release.
OPTIONAL:
9. Download DaemonController from here and adjust your CPU settings.
10. If you prefer the launcher that is in default 3.5 ROM you can download it from here
ONE MORE IMPORTANT THING!!!!!
If after adding a google account you see a lot of FCs from Play Store, Talk ... don't worry about that. Just reboot your phone and open those apps at least one time, then the FCs are gone.

- No only-Polish version will try to build one if I find some time for it, better don't use the lang package from 3.5.1 because it has unsigned apps.
- MMS are working now, you have to use 2G when sending a MMS, works for me
- You can backup and restore your ROM from recovery now without the bootloop (all apps and framework have been re-signed)

In marius 4.0.4 ROM v 3.5 It was not possible to install cracked apps, Is it the same for this rom too??
And xposed was not working ( it was installed but greenify and other modules were not working), Is it fixed??

Like I've already wrote, This is a modified version of marius 4.0.4 with a MULTI-LANG. The only things I did was to change the launcher and recompiled all apps with more languages. So I guess it has the same problems as marius ROM. Like I wrote, the base of the ROM wasn't changed. Try installing alogcat and look what is causing problems. As for cracked apps, installing them from recovery solves installation problem, the same as with Titanium Backup and MyBackup PRO which I'm using.

At present time, I am focusing on this rom try to find solutions for bugs, I believe this rom will be stable and fast comparing with others.

Removing different languages takes some time, I've used apktool to decompress and build each apk file from marius ROM. I wouldn't like to do that once again I think this have to stay like this, unless you want to do this on your own, it took me almost 3 days to find the translations for all apps and recompress them once again.

In fact, this ROM does not have a good record 720p video + AV sync, but it's important that there is someone who is trying to something to do with this ROM.
Do you know how video recording is working on this device?

It is working fine, this is a modification of the only 4.0.4 ROM with working video recording.

I would love to know how it's done, but the qiss web page no longer exist and I don't know anyone who has their sorce code If you know someone from their team that worked on desire or has the source code somewhere on their hard drive let us know

Successor is QISS Media. Do you write them?
As I recall, they never release the source code. I suppose because it could reveal something, which no one wanted to.
The remains of the project for Bravo remained at code.google.com

True, but they helped once HTC Desire HD team to make their camcorder work. Look aroud xda forum and maybe you will find their post. Yes I wrote them an e-mail asking for some help, but didn't get any response yet.
