Themer needed for new rom

I am looking for a themer for the rom that i am about to drop on the skyrocket community.
if you are interested, please PM me and i can send you some files. a private beta will be available tomorrow with hopefully a release of the unthemed rom on monday. would like to have a couple of themes lined up for release as add-ons.

One request, PG? Can we get an unthemed, or stock GB/ICS looking version? Some of us avoid the flashy battery icons, fonts, etc.

totally. i will release as UNTHEMED, stock looking rom. i would love to release side by side with some themes to give users options, but it looks like i might be releasing anyway.
i have had a problem with bluetooth today in my car so i am using my GS2 tomorrow to make sure it wasnt my car jacked up or if its the rom build. i may have broken something bluetooth related. another day or 2 and i should have an RC1 available.

Awesome news.. if you need beta tester for Rogers i727R, *hand raised* AT&T update 2.3.6, apparently doesnt work well with Rogers. Its what I noticed on a couple of ROMs including 1 unreleased ROM. It would be great if you could have it working for us (If that IS the base you're working off of)

Hey, just a suggestion but could you think about making a full ics theme. I would love to try different themes but ive always loved the ics theme compared to stock theme =)

I'm a good beta tester and use to do a little theme changes with my Captivate. Sadly I can't do as much with my new job role (had tons of time doing enterprise tech support before) and I'd love to help.

I am looking for a rom that is stable and will maintain a 2.3.5 base android build that will sustain the HSPA+ ATT APN without getting kicked from ATT or changing back to DUAL MODE/LTE in network settings. This rom MUST have ICS theme WITHOUT battery circle mod. MUST look similar to Samsung Galaxy Nexus. The first developer who can achieve this and create the best rom, not just looks but features and performance will receive the full bounty. So far, we have others willing to contribute to the donation fund. I hope this will empower you to create more roms.

Yes xborders rom pretty much sums that up. How ever i do not see this drawing much attention. Your post count is low. Meaning who is to say you can be trusted. Also you should have a means of posting proof of this bounty

the 2.3.6 issue with the APN switch to avoid throttling, I didn't have this problem. I was purely unthrottled over the phone APN (throttled over PTA) on 2.3.5 and 2.3.6 worked as well as the CM7 rom for 2.3.7

He can put part of the money up front into a waiting account, kind of like what you set up for the dev donation thread?
If it gets dev moving further here, then it could be a good idea. Especially if you left it open for others to donate also.
It could even get the attention of the Cyanogen MOD team?
xboarder's ROM is what I'm using as my current daily driver (for 48 hours now lol). It's not what he's looking for, but it is stable so far for me.

I have already finished the full ics theme for my ROM skyrocketeer. Finishing up some stuff on the update now. Have you tried my ROM yet at all or no because minus some stuff here and there that will be included in new update, I think it's damn stable 2.3.5?

so you want other people to install buggy ROMs for you.
it doesn't work that way. ROMs are like ice cream. if you ask 1000 people to tell you which kind of ice cream you will like best, do you expect to find a comprehensive answer?
flash them and decide for yourself. personally, i'm on a miui build at the moment. but i might swap up for omega, or lite'ning tomorrow.
there is no best.

I'm use TPC V3 with Da_g kernel and it's been very stable for me. Never had any problems. No bug at all. I added the 14 toggle mod. Great rom and version 4 is coming soon.

Yeah, you only don't work on us since we have stable ROM's, we can wait.
I had the Vivid, but that locked bootloader crap pissed me off, and the fact that you have to void your warranty to unlock it when Samsung lets you go all out? No thanks. I liked HTC for a week and a half, and then I was back to Samsung.
Screen was ****ing bright though.... loved it.

Why waste time writing a paragraph about how you don't want to or don't have time to help someone. I haven't tried any of the ROMs yet but from a LOT of reading I've done, the TPC (based on the Rodgers ROM without CIQ) seems the most interesting and the developer is very responsive. He seems to know what he's doing, unlike some posers here.
Some people collect baseball cards, some build model airplanes, some people flash their cell phones all day long. The latter group probably has experience with every rom that's been put out and have some insight into the various issues with all of them. Many are helpful people, however it makes a few of them better than other humans who are not worthy of their knowledge. But they enjoy telling everyone how much they know and won't tell anyone. Personally, that's usually a sign they really don't know much. I don't get it.

Favorite most stable rom? Stock No bugs, no FC'S.. no issues and I'm going on 2days 4hr and 13 min on my battery..

Agreed stock rooted has been the best for me... on the skyrocket.. though i get my flash fix on my atrix and a few other phones laying around.. my skyrocket is my daily driver..

Been runing red sonja since november. Awesome battery life. No force closes or any problems at all. Completly smooth and stable. Just no vibration. If you guys have not tried red sonja you should.

I've been using Skyrocketeer as my daily. It's a great and stable rom.

Unfortunately probably not, both HTC and touchwiz apps require there specific frameworks. They are tied to the framework so they won't run without it.

Updated the op and cleaned it up a bit, hope you like. Does anyone know of any more? Please post of any ports that you know of that exist throughout XDA and I will update the op asap. Also, if someone with an HTC device are able to post ports from those devices, I will add a section to the op with those.

Ya know, i started development on a custom s3 rom for several weeks and then real life started to get in the way with my wifes medical issues and had to kind of loose interest on it for a bit. I still have everything that I have done so far and hope to start having a little more free time in the next few days to continue with it. :fingers-crossed:

Just about everthing in this thread 'should' work on any single rom except for the touchwiz based apps since they require there specific framework to run. The HTC apps are the same although I havent added any yet that specifically require the HTC framework. Check the op of those threads though and anybody can post if they come across any with other dependencies that I missed. These have all only been tested and installed by me on the T999, the T-mobile galaxy S3.

Farewell, i9003 forum

Hi there! Most of you probably don't know me, as I'm not a developer/contributor, nor someone who writes a lot.
I just wanted to thank you for these two years full of new roms, themes and kernels, wich made me busy for hours, but then made my life easier. Why am I saying this? Because tomorrow will come my new device, and I won't be using my Galaxy SCL as my main device anymore (gonna leave it on the bench, just in case hehe).
I wish you all the best, and maybe in the near future some of us will be sharing devices again (that would be great)!

IKR! I never noticed how much lag there was on the SL until I got my N4. I knew there WAS lag on SL but never knew it was that much... Android is like a whole different OS on it hahah.

I'm on it right now - it is bloody blazing fast for sure. I missed the PIE controls but just ended up using LMT on it so PSX is my new rom now
Only thing thats REALLY irritating me is that I cant download any large apps using play store. It goes till 100% on many downloads then just never finishes and crashes. Tried multiple times reinstalling even 3 different roms but all based on JSS. I think JSS is the prob

Well, after a few days trying it, I reverted to CM10.2! It's true PSX rom is faster than any other rom I installed, but it lacks things.
As I'm still amazed by the speed nexus 4 opens everything in stock rom, I prefer relaying on a rom which I know would do the thigs I want
Anyway, it's a GREAT rom!

Yeah that is true, modification is pretty limited, even with Xposed Framework.
Is it just me or is there a real lack of different roms on the N4? Like on SL we have so many like S4 Rom, themed customized roms etc that look different from AOSP 4.3. All I see on Nexus 4 forums are AOSP based this and AOSP based that :/, theres like no themed roms, and this one cool transparent rom that was on 4.2 isnt going to be updated to 4.3 so I dunno. If you come across some cool roms for n4 give me a message
