Perfect.
It is so slow compared to ICS. Samsung really has to stop with bloatware.
Just flash on ICS with ODIN, without any wype, and works fine and don't loose my datas !
For the root I install CWM 6.0.2.7 with odin, then flash the old root.zip (that one I used for ICS), with this new CWM wich asked me to fix the root, I said YES. Rot was good, comfirm by Titanium backup, no need to flash syperuser.zip.
Only a problem with the samsung's keyboard which keep querty, but it show azerty, and I am french, so I change for ICS keyboard wich is really azerty !
All is smooth and fast !!!!

One man's bloat is another man's nugget and apps the you don't run just sit there doing nothing, using no resources and have nothing to do with overall speed. If you want them gone, root, and remove or freeze them,

Can you still boot into recovery?
I wasn't before but after a few times I was able to get TWRP...
Okay it's working now! I renamed the file from .md5 to .tar and that worked!

WOW I haven't seen much movement on my device in several months now all of a sudden a stock 4.1..2 and a 4.2.2 PA ROM with in a couple weeks!! awesome!

The only thing that doesn't seem to work is the 5 GHz wifi. Since this is for UK and Ireland, I expect their frequencies are different.

I think there is nothing different with this firmware... sync bug hasn't been fixed, but antutu marks are considerabily high. This are the results with fuss script only.
I still haven't tested ext4 or deodex on it.

I think motorola razr roms are better also than ddkp2... I didnt say that those where the best antutu results. I said they where considerabily high...

Is a rom from movistar (Spain). Indeed is not from samfirmware.
i9003 root problem
i have tried amits cf-root for my xxkpr, which is supposed to work fine. But I wont stop rebooting ever since, I dont know what went wrong.
I just used the PDA with odin, flash it, it automatically rebooting and my phone wont work properly anymore, instant and unexpect reboots, any idea? :S

Thanks, I'm aware. I was wondering if it was just a 3.2 update instead of ICS. Sometimes they label the release version such as "Android 4.0.4" or similar and this one didn't mention the android version.

just, flash the lastest CWM recovery over ODIN, download the zip file root.zip from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1367249 and flash over CWM.

warning : Be careful brfore flashing... There are some chances you will not come back on 4.4.2 so be careful again
In Note 3 in Asia (qualcomm versione), this morning has received lollipop. So i think this is stable

I installed earlier and was able to get recovery and root, but not to long ago I was debloating and I guess deleted some knox files and got stuck on a boot loop :/, now I have to flash all the way back to PI3 and update one by one to QB1, which i'm hoping works or else i'm gonna be out of a phone until a flashable stock rom releases.

Does anyone have the odin stock firmware yet? I also tried to download via Sam Firm app and get the same error. I also talked to Sprint and they basically wont give me the ota as of now.

Nervermind, I just got it.
Just a FYI, you guys won't be able to get it through SamFirm, neither download to flash it.
The Nougat isn't available in any online service that I could find. It's OTA, only. I had to unroot my G925P in order to get the OTA update.

Can you get into twrp? If I remember correctly you should be able to wipe dalvik and cache and get out of that bootloop.

Well i got my edge back to 6.0 and into root but today i just did nougat. Im a lil weary about rooting this edge variant do u or any one else have ideas on root for the edge variant

A friend is not liking Nougat did to her Edge. Seems like all the edge apps are different or non-functioning. I tried to help, thinking it was just a setting she missed, but all I could find were Samsung edge apps on the Samsung store. Specifically she liked the slide-able, colored bar notifications for each individual favorite contact. Now all she has is all contacts. Any idea what I am missing? Thanks!
