[Q] Replacement for the Moto blur social networking widget? - RAZR HD Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I recently got rid of my Droid X2 and bought a Droid Razr Maxx HD. I have the OS update to Jelly Bean 4.1.2. I like that they removed most of the Moto blur crapware but one of the few widgets that I used was the social networking widget. I don't want to put the Face book app on my phone and used the widget to get updates. Is there an app that does the same thing? I basically wanted to pull updates when posts are made on Facebook by my friends or pages that I have liked.
Thanks

[Q] Replacement of HTC Sense Gallery Widget

Does anyone know of an app that has a widget that operated like the HTC Sense Gallery widget? I recently rooted my EVO 4G and am using CM7. I loved the ability to take photos on my phone, mark favorites, then have a 4x4 widget that let me scroll through pictures (I like to show my friends my pictures of my baby son).
Like I said, all you had to do was switch to that homescreen, swipe up or down to change picture.
I've been looking for a few days now, tried a ton of apps (JustPictures!, QuickPic, Flickr, 3DGallery, etc...) with nothing that comes close.
Any help would be appreciated.
UPDATE: I may have posted this in the wrong forum. If so, I apologize and feel free to burn me...
The closest I've seen is the photo widget on that $15 home replacement app call spb shell 3d or something. Android at its current state does not have scrollable widget support. But replacement launchers do. Something that I think android should've had before these came about.

[Q] What happened to the Google Calendar Widget?

This is probably a dumb question, but I'm coming from a N1 with CM7.1 and I don't know if this was a Vanilla Android thing or a CM thing, but one widget that I LOVED was the Google Calendar widget that would give me my schedule up to a week in advance on my home screen. After my daughter threw my lovely Nexy down 12 flights of stairs in an obvious act of jealousy, I got the Skyrocket, and I can't find anything equivalent to the old Google Calendar Widget I used. Was that a Vanilla/CM7.1 exclusive feature or am I doing something wrong? It's not listed in my widget list, nor can I find it on the market.
TIA
Hate to bump, but does anyone have an answer or solution to this? I really do miss that widget..
Missing Google Calendar Widget
Even on my stock Galaxy sII Skyrocket I do not have access to the Google Calendar Widget.
I rooted the phone & installed Titanium Backup, Rom Manager, etc.
Haven't been able to find a stock Google Calendar widget.
I have now also removed some of the bloat-wear on the phone from AT&T and Samsung. This has resulted in the stock calendar widget that Samsung installed being unavailable as well.
Any assistance in being able to install a stock Google Calendar Widget would definitely be appreciated.
BUMP
Actually I'd like to know as well, or if there's the working widget (originally on the stock Gingerbread OS) for ICS.
Try
smooth calendar
In the store
Edit: I use pure calendar, btw

[Q] Moto Home Unread Count Icons

I'm a huge Nova Launcher fan and have totally avoided using the stock Motorola homescreen that has become available with the 2nd line of the Droid Razr devices. At any rate, I performed a factory reset today and noticed how totally awesome the unread count icons on the Moto homescreen are compared to any others I have seen. I wanted to see if someone could port those to Nova Launcher, maybe? I'd appreciate it. Might even donate. Thanks!!!

GMAIL 5.0

anyone try the GMAIL 5.0 on their Moto X yet?
http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/gmail/gmail-5-0-1564237-apk/
I installed it, and immediately afterwards, got a notification to update GMAIL (still on 5.0).
I do like now that I can add other e-mail accounts to it. Will take some time to get used to the new layout.
i've tried it and i like it very much
Same here I have it on mine and it's awesome
Combined view widget
The absence of a combined view widget in the new gmail app is a negative. The combined view stock email app widget still works on the Kitkat Moto X but be advised...I updated my N7 tablet to Lollipop and the Android e-mail app is no longer operational, and the new gmail app does not have a combined view widget. I assume that this is the future for the Moto X once you transition to Lollipop (when we get it).
My workaround is that where I had one widget that showed the inbox for multiple accounts, I now have multiple widgets which wastes screen space.
