key combination comes to the warning screen and it tells press volume up to continue but it want neither any button works

are you rooted..?? if yes, then which ROM..?? If no, then get it rooted first. You can go to download mode after that if your Volume key isn't working.

well this is a long story im about to tell.
i had this key not working problem from the start so i serched for a solution and found the apx method and did it.
now my 4n is stuck at the samsung logo
but the volume up key problem was before i tried the apx method
i read that yesterday wipe cahe should do the trick thats why i want to go to downlaod mode to take care this matter with cwm
dont laugh at me i did a really mess i know i just want to fix this plz help

Buddy you need to wipe data too if you are flashing Stock ROM.

With the device stucking there and broken keys there isn't any other option than taking it to SSC.

buddy, I think you need to go to SSC. Coz for going in CWM & Download mode, you need to press Up volume button. Or somehow you can reach to Menu(start the device) then we can help you out.

Its a hardware problem buddy.
so if i can repair the buttons it will do the thing .
we dont have a proper SSC near
and the cost for reparing this like device is very high

i was flashing a rom
everything was fine but when i choose to reboot the device
it never waked....
tried odin method also
reinstalled the usb drivers but no luck
i just can boot into emergency download mode ( vol up + vol down +home + power)
odin recognizes me at that mode
but stucks at setup connection ....

As per my knowledge if you can go to download mode its a soft brick. And are you flashing through one package if yes then don't use all four file and then try to flash

it has bricked the second time
it's not under warranty

If you can go to the emergency download mode their is a method to unbrick phone

Hello, I don't mean to hijack your thread but I am unable to go into download mode on my phone too. I have been using CM 7.2 rc2 and CWM recovery. I need to flash the original firmware through odin to go back to the factory GB. Can anyone please tell me what I am doing wrong?

i think download mode is just vol down+home+power .... no vol up
Yes But Asad007 has said he was unable to go into normal download mode and instead tried to use the emergency download mode Which I think cannot be used to flash New Firmware....

I have exactly the same problem like you,odin find me only when i press volume up+ menu+ power wich is dump mode from what i know.
I buy a Usb Jig now i wait to receive it ,i think is the las thing that i can do ,then i will send to samsung warranty to replace the motherboard ,will see if will do that.
This is a hard brick so no method listed here don`t work because the screen is dead and computer see it only if you use dump mode

USB Jig doesnt support
As some of you speak of changing motherboard ... does such procedure cost much? Or do you guys all make this via warranty?
i believe it's all covered under the warranty.
though i doubt that they actually change the motherboard.
asad sir i know i m noob here but i have an suggetion my phone alsdid this and my comp. was not recognizing that then i tried from other computer and it worked i hope this would surely help you........

i have the same problem like yours... any button combination wont bring back to life my phone... i think thats the hard brick.... when you can enter to odin its soft brick... is usb jig method applicaple for this problem??

Yes he can do this but there is another way is that flashing a new stable CUSTOM recovery like CWM or something else by odin
Recovery mode:volume up+volume down+Home+power
Download Mode:volume down+Home+power than volume up

Press and hold the key combination till u see "volume up --> recovery". Then press vol up to enter into recovery mode. Since u r pressing the power key, the device will turn off no matter its in bootloop or stuck at boot logo. Since u r pressing the vol up+down, the device will turn on to recovery. [ if u just want to turn off the device while in bootloop, just press n hold the power key till the device is off ]. So dont b afraid if u r facing such situation, its quiet common in rooted phones especially running on custom roms.

i am afraid because its my first phone that does't have removable battery, in normal phone my practice is to just put battery out and boot into recovery mod thats it

Yep, you can use miui8 patch1. It contains all the sufficient /system files for miui. Patch2 contains the boot.img for miui8, dont know it will work for miui7, but you could try and let me know.
Hi guys! A friend give me this phone, a30s but i tryed to reset it and i cannot open it because i must typoe the latest google account that was on the phone, but i tried to install with odin the stock software and give me this error (An error has occured while updating the device software. use the emrgency recovery function in the smart switch pc software). and now i dont know what to do beucase i cant even power off it.

I'm from romania, i have the model sm-a307fn, i used this firmware A307FNXXU2BTG1_A307FNOEM2BTG1_ROM and i flashed using odin and this gave me the error

Finish the battery power of the phone and leave it for 2 days or so (in Download mode and *not* connected to odin) for faster battery usage, or anywhere as long as it on
After that power it to recovery mode with the volume up button and the power button but press em right after inserting the power cord (cable to your phone to charge it so it can boot to recovery)
When the Samsung thingies pop up release the power button and don't release the volume up button
Press till u see the recovery menu and then wipe cache and then factory reset it :cyclops:
Mostly likely it's gonna need the previous Google account details, I'll research on how to frp bypass the Google lock

Tern off phone with hold press vol down and power and when turned of connect charging cable and press vol down with vol up in the same time you will go to bootloader then flash stock
I such you have that issues with twrp of you fixed it tell me

Dont say dont work im such you im have serched for this issues fixs more than 4 haur
Serch in youtube how to openA7 2018 bootloader
And dont lost you need to tern off phone then go to bootloader
If you pressed down vol with power in first 7 second it will be restart dont stop of pressing if the screen blacked for second time press vol up & down in some time

Hey,
I have the same problem with the bootloop and the corrupted locking screen. I'm able to boot into download mode, but I can't figure out which system to flash. I tried several ones, but none of them worked... and I can't get back to the factory recovery. If somebody has an idea which recovery system could work I would be very pleased to know.
