Moga pro controller - Nexus 4 Accessories

Hello guys I've just ordered my moga controller pro. Is there anyone who using it? Is it working fine ? How is nexus 4's game performance compared to HTC one ?
Nexus 4 cihazımdan Tapatalk 2 ile gönderildi

It's all right. It connects fine, and it works for a few feet so you can set it up to a TV or something. The Nexus 4 can handle basically any game, but it gets super hot and will drain the battery fast. I mean really hot, like hot where it's uncomfortable to hold. So you could like out it on a fan and play, or just take a break every 15 minutes.

I recommend you to try undervolting your device with a custom kernel, it really helps a LOT with the temperature thing. Regarding the controller, I bought it 3 weeks ago but I find myself not using it since the lack of supported games, luckily there's an app called "universal moga driver" wich soon should support the moga pro controller and it will enable you to play any game you want with it.

Oh. Thanks guys. Nice to hear those words.

Weird, mine doesn't get "that" hot, I can play any 3D game like real racing 3 or modern combat 4 without taking breaks... It does get hot but nothing to care about
Maybe because I'm using Xylon ROM

I haven't had any issues regarding that. Im just -50 undervolted.

How is the battery when using the controller? Does drain faster or just as playing normally?

I just got mine today. Set it up within minutes and I am already playing MC4 and Street of Rage via my emulator. The Moga Pivot app makes it real easy to switch between Moga enabled games and HID. I am loving this controller!
Only problem is, i tthink it is too pricey. Cost me $68 to get it to Singapore.

Finished my MC4 on my Moga Pro, didn't had a single lost connection. And no, no lag.
And on previous question on battery... didn't notice any noticeable bad drain on phone and battery on controller is good as well.

How about the original MOGA? As I am in a tight budget, is it still good?

Moga pro is not that great yet on mc4 & nova 3.
They need better support.. You cannot move like you want. Or quickly as u could with touch controls.
Sucks. Cause that's the only reason I bought it.

Who says we need powerful GPUs? (OnLive available on android)

Yes I understand GPUs are important for other things. Thread title is a joke. But check this out...OnLive . Basically OnLive is going to try running their services to tablets (doing the game computing in the cloud). I am totally willing to try this! Imagine xbox/ps3 like games on your tablet or even your phone.
I tried it, it worked. I played Dirt 3 on my phone. The visual quality may not be the greatest though, might depend on the data speed/connection or something?
I noticed that too. It's like you're watching a video of a video

Their servers only support 720p atm is why it looks so odd but they did say 1080p was a future goal. Other than that this thing is pretty great.

No, these do not change. I picked up the ones I thought were worth it already yesterday. Granny Smith, Asphalt 7, Draw Something.
Runtastic is good if you run, which I don't. Except the 5 minutes at the gym.
Looks like the only one worth something in here is OfficeSuite Pro 6... but I will know next week, when the lectures will start. Someone recommends anything from that list?

There is unofficial SwiftKey 75% off FYI.

If Titanium Backup and Tapatalk are up tomorrow for this low price, i'll get those as well
I already got Swiftkey very cheap a few months ago
World Of Goo for 25p? I'm having some of that! I paid £7 for it on Wii and loved it, so 25p to have it portable is a bargain! Hoping there'll be more great games like that available in the sale.

[GAME] Horn *issues*

Hey guys, just got the game "Horn" from the Play Store for $0.25 today. I'm getting an issue where the game refuses to load. Not even for once second before it crashes back to the launcher. Just wondering if any of you have been able to get it to work.
Also, it's a good idea to buy it now for super cheap so when the bug is fixed we get a free update.

Its only for tegra devices... it says they are working on it for other non tegra devices... it will be awhile. I knew it wouldn't load. But I bought it for the 25 cents... so later I save 5 bucks
Sent from my One X using xda app-developers app
I figured it wouldn't show for our devices if it wasn't compatible. Oh well, it's not like I lost anything. I'll save it for when I get my N7.
I just thought it was weird how it crashed, didn't even attempt to load. Made me think it just scanned the build.prop and shut it down when it didn't find "endeavor". If only ChainFire3D worked for JB I think we could get this to run.
Sent from my One X using xda premium
It says optimized for tegra 2 and 3. It didn't say it required it. This makes me upset. They better get it working for us.
Sent from my HTC One X using xda premium
Runs amazing on the Nexus 7, highly reccomended. Gameplay is very good and played for while before getting bored(1 sitting I mean, still love the game), which is more that I can same for most games. 7 in screen size is perfect for games like this.
Could probably get this to run on ICS with Chainfire 3D. I might switch back to Cleanrom to try it.

Best tablet for gaming?

I want to get a tablet that's great for gaming under $300. My brother has a nexus 7 and I've used it but it lags on most gameloft games. I want a tablet that doesn't lag on their games. I saw the galaxy tab 2 for $200 at best buy but don't know if it will be good enough. Any suggestions?

As if you said its the best. Your ignorance is comical. The nexus 7 doesnt lag. Its a very powerful small tablet and consider how inexpensive it is.. in my opinion its one of the best bang for your buck
and you cant root an ipad

Yeah It's probably just a few games I downloaded more that I bought with this phone and doesn't lag like some do I don't really plan on rooting anything anymore unless I get something new. So I might get a nexus or maybe a 3ds since I just want it for games. I have this phone the evo 3d that's 1.2 dual core GHz and I'm happy with it but I'll see my little brother doesn't use his nexus much since he plays on my Xbox it might just end up being mine after a while
