My After-Flash AppsVersion 1.4.1
Hi guys !
Boring to have to download again and again and again the same apps after flashing a new rom ?!
Maybe this tool is for you !
I'm used to flash roms, several times a week, almost always AOSP ROMS, or ROM without apps like manager files or like that, and sometimes i can't flash, over the current , so i need to wipe, and lost my apps, and have to download them and install them again and again ...
So i made an AROMA Installer, using Aroma App Package Creator , which i can use after flashing a new rom, like i reflash GAPPS ...
Maybe it could help someone, so i decided to share this with you !
AROMA config of this package is a little bit modified by myself.
I Hope you'll like it

Installation

Q/A
For which device is this tool ?
> Because of the update-binary-installer file modified, it's made for Sensation and SensationXE,but maybe it could works on some others devicesHow can i put my own apps ?
> Open the zip file with Winrar for example, or your favorite tool, and just drag and drop your .apk files in My_Apps folder.
But be careful, names of your apps don't have to contain any spaces characters, replace them by an underscore "_", or something else !
Future Updates
Multi languages selection (English / French)
Possibility for people to add their own apps from a subfolder in SD-Card (without touching the zip file)
Suggestions
I don't want this package become too big, but any suggestions are welcomes
Will be updated regularily !!

Sounds like a useful tools, but I don't know if I get it right. Can I pull my apps into it or is it only for the above mentioned apps you already put in?

I made a little package with apps mentionned (that's why suggestions are wlecomes, if some could be added ), but you could try to put your own in, if you want. Or trying the tools i used before "Aroma app package creator".
I'm working on a dynamic online aroma creator, PHP based. You should be able to put your apk, and generate your own package ...
But not ready yet
Sounds great! :good:
Are those apps written in Aroma or only put into the apps sub folder?
I would try to put mine in...

The advantage of AROMA is to have a visual and make a choice of what app you want to install.
So you have to modify it to see your app in the list, and managed to select them for installation.
Or you could just add some lines code which will automatically install some apps, without prompting ... but better way to make a flashable zip instead of an AROMA installer if you have nothing to select
Will test it tomorrow when I reflash my rom. Tested so many apps, icons and themes, it's nearly full of crap :good:

Hi,
Like i said in first post, i used Aroma App Package Creator, to make my fisrt package, and see how it works.
After that, i made some modifications in the aroma-config file to had some features, changed the update-binary-installer file for one worked fine with our sensi.
So you can extract the zip linked, and add your apps in data, and changed some lines in aroma-config. there are some comments in this file, it could be easy to know where changes have to be done.
But i'm looking for the best way, to allow people to add in their own apps ... without making some dirty modifications directly in thoses files
i also said that i'm creating an online tool, which allow everybody to make it own aroma package, with apps they wanted into. But not ready yet.
For your apps, Facebook, is already in, i think i could add MX player ...
Most important i think is ES Files Explorer, which allow you to install other apps from your SD
For the others, if there are many suggestions about the same apps you wanted in, i will add them
Thx for your feedback
Little screenshot added !
Thanks For The Reply... I will flash 10.1 JB Today and will then try your installer
and yes the tools you included are best for basic installations , and most use them too , I had those in my app list but you already included them so i didn't posted them ..

Hi community. I bought my Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 some weeks ago, and (being a flash-o-holic, as many of you) have been eager to flash some new ROMS for stretching the capabilities of my new beloved device. Since of course it takes time for developers to create a ROM, I started testing some customizations and found them to work successfully, so I wanted to share in case you are in a similar situation.
First of all, none of the software in this thread has been developed by me, so credit goes to their legitimate authors
Also very important, this is all result of testing on my own device. i cannot guarantee this will work on your device, and I take NO responsibility on the results of replicating this procedures nor installing these applications on your devices. Since it's mostly about apks, it pretty safe anyway.
In order to be able to execute any of the instructions in this thread, your device must be rooted. Instructions to root your device can be found here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2386098
I have tested this on my SM-T310, but I see no reason why it should not work on the T311 or T315
Please, make sure to perform a nandroid backup before you perform any of these actions. I found I applied some modifications I wanted to rollback, and it was not possible,. That led me to the need to flash stock firmware and start over from scratch (for not following my own advice) :silly: In case this happens to you, you can always find the stock firmware at http://samsung-updates.com/
Great news is that Xposed Framework can be installed and works perfectly on the Galaxy Tab 3 8. And also, since the newest version includes the ability to download modules directly from the Xposed APK, you'll have the possibility to experiment a lot. Please be careful, always perform a Nandroid backup before intensive testing. The latest version of the Xposed Framework APK can be found at it's authors site:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1574401 (Thanks to Rovo89)
Once installed, follow the authors instructions. You will be able to find and install new modules in the DOWNLOAD section of the application. Please remember that once you install a new module, you will need to go to the MODULES section of the application in order to enable it, and then reboot your device.
So far I have tried the following modules:
- App settings v1.5 (it will allow you to modify DPI for each application independently). It's very safe to use. Works great
- Boot Manager V1.1.3 (it will allow you to select apks you don't want your tablet to load during boot). Mostly safe, if any apks related stops working you need to just remove it from the Boot Manager list, and it should go back to normal.
- Wanam Xposed v2.0.5 (It includes many of the customizations from the Wanam ROMs for other devices such as the S4). In this case, you should be slightly careful. This APK was designed for a different device, and includes options that are not valid (such as disabling increasing ringtone), others that might generate issues (such as Enable Keyboard symbols, which is anyway useless, but can conflict with TAB 8 Samsung Keyboard APK), but mostly, it works great, and adds functions such as 4 way reboot, select multi windows applications, modify the number of tiles in quick settings, battery icon, and other very useful ones
- Nottach Xposed: which has many options in common with Wanam Xposed. This one did not show on the download section of the xposed framework apk, but you can find and download it from its author's thread. Same considerations applies as with Wanam Xposed. I am not sure if they can conflict with each other, so be careful.
As you can see there are many improvements we can already use in our dear Tab 8, you just need to try and verify (After performing a nandroid backup).
I also found a ZIP including the Sony Xperia Launcher and Walkman APK, created by Team Nocturnal for the Galaxy S3, that so far seems to work properly.
http://pc.cd/5z
I hope you will find this thread useful, and I encourage you to test different modules and alternatives and include your own experiences in this thread, so that we can all improve our Tab 3 8 experience.
Happy Testing!!!
thx ..the App Settings is just what i needed ....i am a fan of PAC rom .....and i just love to change the DPI of apps..... some apps are just to big  thx again
None or few of this work is mine, i am just collecting all apps/themes/tweaks to make stock-based roms look more like Android L and have more features of Android L.
Root needed for maximum numbers of apps.
1. First of all, edit build.prop, find "ro.build.type=user" and change it to "ro.build.type=userdebug" (use es file explorer or any build.prop editor)
OR
Flash already edited build.prop flashable zip in recovery. Download from here
2. Reboot
3. Download calender, books2, drive, keep2 from here (other apps not tested but working links for them are below):
4. Uninstall old Exchange services (use any app like titanium backup) then install Email, exchange services, fit, from here
5. Play services (download from play store) or from here:
6. Search and launcher from here
7. Messenger from here
8. Play music from here (suggested to update from play store)
9. Uninstall old Gmail from system (use titanium backup or any other app), reboot, then install form here

apk
lib OR Download this and flash in recovery.
11. Sounds (Flashable zip) from here
12. Fonts (Flashable zip) from here
13. Icons (Flashable zip) from here
14. Bootanimation and Logo (concept) from here (by me)
15. Install Xposed framework from here
16. Download and install Android L theme from here (Thanx Paras Jasal for fixing the theme and uploading and Yogesh Gosavi for re-uploading and providing this link)
17. Download HKThemeManager from Xposed itself and enable it. Reboot.
Apply Android L theme in HKThemeManager and reboot.
Well Nice thread, But How can you differentiate the Android L theme (HKThemeManager) Version with the Android L theme(Xposed Module) - Actually I'm in Confusion which one to Choose ? Your Version of Android L theme is Good but not as fast as Xposed one in my device..
dialer's dialed digits not visible
I apply the android l theme by paras... In dialer when I dial any number using themed dialer the digits are not visible... I think the color of both background and dialed digits are same (white) .. Please fix this by changing the color of dialing digits in theme...
Apart from this awsome job sir... Well done...
Waiting for update...

Sorry, maybe I didn't make it clear. what I was doing is fully wipe and flash CM11 ROM for HTC one X from scratch, and afte rall my google apps abd data is download back to normal from server, and then I flash your mod WITHOUT WIPE. But I don't see any app or other mod inside the system after reboot. I check it with root explorer. So I think I do follow your step, right ? Do you ever try to clean-wipe flash from scratch and then flash your mod ?
i checked it again and it works without aby problems on a clean install

Check if you had system partition mounted when you were installing the package, if there weren't any files installed thetn this might be the problem.
@shiftyHungary did it work for you
Good Luck !!
can any one confirm that it works
Wowza...just beathed alot of extra life into my ZTE Awe. Lolipop launcher and quickboot dont work on my device, but i can live without them. Well done
Quick boot mod only works on official cm11 builds and some other builds like armv6 build but the quick but apk works on any android device
The app just force closes whenever I try to open it. We at the Awe forums on androidforums are running an unofficial build, so it makes sense to me the mod wouldnt work but the app is not as well. Again, I can do without. Everything else, minus the launcher, appears to be working.
Though I can't find any difference when running the "boost" command. What is it supposed to do exactly?
its apically for games
Well again I didn't notice much of a difference with or without running it. Real Racing 3, GTA San Andreas and Modern Combat 4/5 run significantly better than before the mod. I was able to even record some decent game plays on each with Rec Screen Recorder with only about a 10fps drop and minor lag, something I struggled to do initially. All in all, I'll confirm this works and have already spread the word to my fellow Awe users.
Many thanks for your hard work
