Mind that this will not work with rc1, it still works with albino tho.

Also works with Elelinux (aokp) current build.

didnt work to me in cm10.1 albino 10th may
I'll try again later
thanks for sharing anyway

Works with albinos may 17 build. One bug, if you turn off your screen during a call and wake it back up during that call the system will restart. I tested it like this.
- clean install of albino ROM
- gapps
- animation mod
Tested phone calls and it restarts the system.
So then
- clean install same albino zip
- gapps
Tested phone calls and turning screen on off works fine.
I really like the animations they are sexy but since sensation has faulty proximity sensors I absolutely need the power button for voice calls. Thanks for sharing

Hi it's best to try out several roms for yourself and see which suits you best. This question is really subjective because everyone has a different opnion. I personally love the jelly bean rom called paranoid Android by Dragun. It's awesome and has great development! You can make your phone a hybrid of a tablet if you wish. It's got a wonderful panoramic camera, lots of great stuff. but others might not agree and have there own favorite. So try out several and see what YOU think. Don't forget to do your nandroid backups before so you can restore your original rom if you get in a pinch. Have fun, experiment, try new things! You will soon discover which is your favorite. And that's what matters. Which one YOU like. Best wishes and happy flashing.

Realsis makes a good point, its all about what you like.
Personally, I like Cyanogenmod since it is really fast and relatively lightweight compared to a Sense rom. Try it out.
Realsis is right. Try a few and see what YOU like

Whats a good rom with Jelly bean for my sensation 4G
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using xda app-developers app
It's all a matter of opinion. I personally like paranoid Android by Dragun. It's jelly bean. Smooth, fast, stable, and amazing. But this again is only my opinion. Try for yourself and form your OWN opinion. That's the best way. I
Can't tell you what you like and what you don't, you must find that out for yourself! Do some experimenting and find YOUR favorite.

Alright if it supports jelly bean alright
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using xda app-developers app
Yes it's jelly bean and it's surprisingly stable. I love it! I tried jelly bean in there form of paranoid Android by dragun korr. And now I'm hooked! Also on that particular rom you can make your phone a tablet, or a phone tablet cross or just regular if you like. Tons of available customization! You can read or watch the video how to do it if you choose that rom. I use it as my daily driver. There development is very active and it's smooth like butter. I'm using there kernel 3.0.50 and I have excellent battery life! I've been very pleased with it. Give it a try and see what you think.

Hi,
Look HERE
It lists 3 separate ways to install 4 EXT.
Thank you i got it working a while ago & i got my rom but i dont have any Googleapps no play store no contacts none where do i get it
Do a quick search for the gapps. You'll find them in no time. Then after you have downloaded the flashable zip just boot into your chosen recovery and flash the zip. There is normally a gapps link in your roms OP. Hope this helps.

Try the 1 in the Evo 3D mods section. It has worked for me on every HTC device I tried. That includes a Sense 4 ROM on my Rezound. Read the 1st post as it explains how it was modded.

true, and i have no idea why, but i added a fix in the OP, try it
hmm....can anyone who flashed the ROM recently check the SuperUser in the settings and tinker around in it and see if he can get Root without flashing SuperSU?...i think that's the feature in the ROM that gives Root...
Please someone try it, i didn't see it ^^'
OK, after couple of hours work here is my feedback.
1. Superuser in the settings does not work although it is set to allow root access for apps and adb.
2.lags and freezes, however, it disappeared after flashing recent sultan kernel.
3.no sweep2wake
4.Voip calls app didnt work (very important for me)
Very smooth and quick ROM otherwise, would definitely reflash once these issues sorted.
Thanks for the developer.
Reverted back to my previous rom.

thanks! no lags on my side though, even with the stock kernel. and i already restored all of my apps and games so the phone is full now.
as for sweep2wake, you can flash any DragunKorr kernel, or i even think sultan kernel has sweep2wake that can be toggled using any kernel tuner from google play.
can you tell which particular app you used so i can check if it works or not with me?
I use Voipbuster for my international calls. If it work , i will surely reflash the jellybam.
If you dont mind me asking. Why dont you open your thread in the development section. This ROM is awesome , and will have more visitors/users there?
Thanks for your help.

well iGio90 is off from XDA for some reason. Moderators already deleted his old JellyBam thread (i don't know if he requested that) and weeks ago, a user made a thread like this in the development section and it ended up closed. so here is safer
i downloaded the app and it loaded fine, but i don't have a username, and there isn't a way to create one it seems...? this ROM is based on Albinoman's ROM, only JellyBam stuff added, so anything working on the base ROM should work on this...
The other thread was closed because the rom was not released yet. Now once that happened i think it is ok to reopen the thread or new one.

Did you flash the ROM, booted it, and then back to recovery and flash SuperSU? That's what i did and i got root right away.

iGio90 and ALL of his work is banned from xda.

How to tell if GPS hardware is broken

I am using Albino's CM10.1 Android 4.2.2 ROM, which works great. However, my GPS is not working. I've tried a bunch of apps from Google Play to try and resolve this issue but no luck. Is there a way to directly check the GPS hardware itself to determine if it is broken?
Sent from my HTC Sensation using xda app-developers app
Hi,
Very weird that you have a hardware problem.
You should make a cwm backup and flash a sense ROM like Mike's ARHD o elegancia.
if it works
Sent from my GT-P1000
If you want to check a hardware problem I would suggest you to try some stable rom like Stock,RevolutionHD,ViperS or Revelation to see if your gps works on some of them.Don't forget that CM10.1 versions are steel in testing mode.
Thanks guys. I'll give the alternate ROM approach a try...

Ah crap. Installed ARHD (which I have used before) and the GPS still didn't work. Looks like I may have gotten to end of life for my Sensation, a whole 2 years, by gosh

Recovery or ROM bug?

Good afternoon. I need a help to fix the following problem.
Recently I've got S-OFF and Root for my HTC Sensation XE using this tutorial: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1661631
After this I used this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1459369 to get SuperCID
Than I installed the latest CWM for my phone.
Finally, I flashed [ROM] CM-10.1 AOSP 4.2.2 Jellybean [KANG] [Aug-6] .
But after flashed ROM without error and rebooted my phone it still loaded a rom instead of CyanogenMod. Then I re-installed it, removed battery, and loaded the phone at it was working. Now I have interesting but: when my phone charging and I shutdown it, my sensation after shutdown automatically loads CWM Recovery Menu
How can I fix it?
up!
First load of cyanogenmod was taking soo long it about 5-6 minutes..
I think you need to reinstall cwm recovery, if the problem still on
