I imagine it would be laggy since it's still an alpha form and the devs are still working on it.

i dont have a sensation so i dont know if this working
Tried installing on my HD2 running Froyo.
Install failed.

I googled it and it showed on you tube people running Ubuntu 12.04 on sensations but I couldn't find a download link.

I would not recommend a noob to follow such procedure.
It may just be one of the most complex tasks possible on the sensation.
I know it's not the answer, but an answer would require its own very large thread with tons pf details...

I think that UBUNTU is not for noobs. I'm not an advanced user, but I don't think that UBUNTU is a good idea for not advanced user that can be used on Sensation.

Yeah many of them where working on it but when android 4.3 came out they just moved on :/ trying to get it to boot
