First, thanks for your fast reply.
The phone was working fine (locked to t-mobile)
So I tried with CM 10.1, and was fine.
everything was ok.
when I get the unlock code, CM doesn't accept it, so I have to go back to stock rom.
and that's the problem,
after many many tries the phone stay looping on CyanogenMod load screen.
anyway it can stay on fastboot mode, so.... how to go back to stock? from this point?
thanks again.
pd: sorry for my english

Yes, but nothing
one thing, on the RUU, when I unzip the package (rom.zip) doesn't appear boot.img instead boot_signed.img
that's the file I used: "boot_signed.img" I try with 2 of them and nothing, even I installed "boot.img" from CM and nothing.
what to do?
thanks
What CID are you?

Before you say anything i just want to state that i have been on my computer for over 4 hours trying to fix this issue but nothing seems to work. I have had my phone for a while now and while im not a complete noob at the tech with it i wouldnt say i have a very strong understanding either. So the phone was given to me by a friend, already rooted and i have had no promblems with it but today i tried to flash cyanogenmod(?) and well alot of things happened.
At first when i finished it just kept resetting so i did a bit of researched and i updated the firmware(without supercid) note that i only know that i was meant to use supercid after my phone went into a boot loop
So anyways long story short i cant use supercid because my phone is in a continous boot loop and it doesnt get recognised as a usb thingo when i plug it in so i cant do those commands i need to do for supercid
so urgent help is needed !!!
reading your post i assume you are S-OFF
what recovery do you have?
try 4ext recovery if you don't have it and reflash the rom

Hi,
Which firmware did you flash?
Supercid is not a necessity.
Use Kohr-Ah's Universal firmware ,and your CID should be incorporated in it.
If not,you can write it into the info.txt
i flashed the 3.3 universal then when everything went bad i tried to flash stock rom 3.33 or something :s

Hi,
Glad it worked.
Your radio is now good.
Place a Rom on the root of your sd card,go into recovery, wipe the phone clean.
If you have 4 EXT ,then, format all partitions except sd card.
Install ROM.
I know people really don't like it when questions are asked that they could of solved in like two minutes, But im really sorry guys Ive been doing everything in my power to fix this and I cant. Well when I rooted my Inspire 4g I thought it was rooted so I put TWRP on there and erased my stock (I forgot to save the backup) and installed a ROM, That Didn't start for like an hour so I turned it off and went to bed. I keep on trying things to get my ROM to work and to avail it stops. When I tried it again to install It installed again but when i rebooted I got the HTC Screen then fade to black, I honestly have been trying everything from fastboot, Trying to get programs to work, Trying to flash in RUU Trying to flash PD98IMG and Everything I could look on Google and Think of in my head...Nothing is working. i know you need a S-off to flash roms...but I cant find a way to turn it off because all I can access right now is recovery (Im not on Clockwork). SO I hate to ask...But can you guys help? D: Please, Im sorry, and Thank you.

You don't need S-Off to flash ROMs. You do need to re-unlock. Then, every time you flash a ROM, you need to fastboot flash the boot.img from the ROM zip.

Hey guys, before I say something. I have really searched for help on the forum, although I clearly need help.
So I was trying to ROM the new Revelation rom and ended up in a bootloop where phone is restarting at HTC screen. I've flashed ROMs a several times with no problem whatsoever, until now.
I have 4Ext recovery and can access it without problems. Tried installing other ROMs as Cm10 with no luck.
At the time is says in bootloader.

Folks, the surgery went well! I fixed it.
Was looking for every possible solution and found a guide! Finally got my lovely sensation back.
1. Put the firmware PG58IMG file in root (3.33.4 - since my fastboot told me so). Let it "flash".
2. Went inside 4Ext and removed the PG58IMG file.
2. Formated and wiped dalvik and cache.
3. With 4Ext smartflash turned on I flashed CM10.1 ROM.
4. Bootet back to bootloader in 4Ext, connected my device to adb and fastboot.
5. Copied the boot.img from the CM10.1 Rom-file and put it in the same folder as adb and fastboot.
6. Typed "fastboot flash boot boot.img", let it flash.
7. Reboot, phone back and feeling good!
Hope this helps for anyone who's stuck at HTC logo screen and has S-ON. Since the S-ON kind of prevented me from changing CID etc. I tried this, which worked successfully!

Even I had the same problem today.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2349395
In short..the culprit was the boot.img.
It was not being flashed even after enabling smartflash in 4ext recovery.
So basically what I did was exract boot.img from the AndroidRevolution rom and flashed it via fastboot(fastboot flash boot boot.img).
And it worked!!
Try this and report.
@NickenA
You should probably remove your imei and serial number from OP.
Sent from my Ouya
You can still flash Revelation but since you are S-ON you may need to flash the boot.img separately like you posted in your solution. So, extract the boot.img from the ROM, flash the ROM then push boot.img to your phone afterwards, and before you know it you will be enjoying the smoothest Sensation possible!
I've been having the same problem, once again, after trying to flash Revelation (and yeah, I'm also 1.27 with S-ON) so this looks like it's definitely the common denominator. Even with SmartFlash in 4EXT, the boot.img doesn't seem to flash for any ROM after attempting to flash revelation - I even tried 3 others that I know used to work just fine. I was starting to get afraid that I may have softbricked my phone, but I'll go ahead and try flashing boot.img manually. Thanks
EDIT: Worked like a charm - only needed to do fastboot flash boot boot.img
The other method with the PG58IMG is going a little overboard, IMO
Jus flash the proper boot.img

No need to wipe/flash anything.. Most boot-loops with S-ON occur with wrong boot.img. Just use fastboot flash boot boot.img and you should be good to go.
I have the same problem... :/ (Not sure if I have to start a new thread)
I have flashed the Revelation ROM and after rebooting I'm stuck at HTC splash screen. Now after restoring my backup of my previously used CM10.1 ROM I'm stuck on splash screen too. I even tried to flash a clean CM10.1 ROM, but same problem
I'm S-OFF using hboot 1.29 and latest firmware.

with locked bootloader you are restricted to fastboot commands
what to do is flash 3.33 universal from this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1459767
it will give you also a patched hboot which is unlocked
follow the instructions carefully
and before flashing check md5 sums(important)
after that try with the command again

I don't use AOSP roms as I am Sense lover. However, as I can see most problems with KK roms flashing come because of recovery, cause, as I understood, KK neads some metadata bu****t that can only be achieved with TWRP.
If I'm right it won't be bad if someone could point that to everybody willing to test KK builds.
Thanks for your answers :good:
I managed to get my sensation sim unlocked. I changed my Super CID and used the PH58DIAG file without any problem.

Hi guys
I've looked everywhere for a solution. Maybe someone know another post that I might've missed.
My phone won't start, it keeps rebooting to the white HTC screen.
Right, now to the problem. Before this problem I had a custom ROM installed (Carbon 4.3) which was getting a few errors so I decided to restore it with clockworkmod from a previous backup. Now what this did is turned the device to ****Locked**** and S-ON .
So what I did next is use HTCDEV to unlock it. Well that bit worked but it's still S-ON.
Now it shows

I can still go in to Recovery and use the 4EXT recovery Touch (v1.0.0.4 RC3) and i managed to wipe everything including the SD as I already backed it up. After I installed a custom ROM (Blitz 4.0). Everything went well, finished installing successfully. After a reboot the phone won't start to the OS. It keeps looping to the White HTC screen (without even vibrating every time it reboots). So I can install any ROM but can't boot into it.
I even re-partitioned my SD thinking that the mSD was the issue but no luck.
Any particular advice how can I fix this?
Many thanks!
Go to recovery---> tools--->enable smart flash
And flash Rom it will work
OR
flash boot from Rom by fastboot command
fastboot flash boot boot.img
For kitkat Rom update 4ext recovery to latest o think its rc 6

Hi and thanks for quick reply.
I've tried the first method (but no luck)
Although second one worked like a charm! :good: Thanks for that. Now my next question is: If I want to install another ROM will it make the same problem? If yes then how do I get the from S-ON to S-OFF? Will the Revolutionary Utility help ,me or mess it up?
Thanks again. :good:

just to know enable smartflash exactly before flashing the rom
and yes you will have to do the same if smartflash fail again
if you want to S-OFF you have to flash stock rom first
then follow this guide

Thanks rzr86. Will think about it before I'll S-OFF. I'm happy that I got it working again. Plus I don't use it anymore. It's my wife's phone now. Just wanted to flash a new ROM and pass it on to her and that poo happened. :cyclops: Now it's back to life.
( Thanks again "Itsakash")
