[Root] [UnLocked/Locked BootLoader] [one click] [Very Easy!!] Xperia Miro 11.0.A.5.5 - Sony Xperia Miro, Tipo (Dual), J, E

I tried this tool on (http://www.unlockroot.com/unlockroot.html), it's very easy, just one click to root/unroot.
No need for any downgrade or something, just go to the website and get the free version (you need the drivers to be installed "PCC will do that for you", also enable USB debugging)..
Should work with tipo latest firmware as well (please confirm)...

[Q] Rooting my xperia J

I recently upgraded my xperia J to the official 11.2.A.0.2.1 (4.1.2) firmware but i kinda want 4.2 on it now..the problem is i cant seem to root it on the current firmware...is there any way i can root it without downgrading.apparently u need a rooted device to downgrade and i cant root..so im kinda stuck.,
You down grade by flashing a stock firmware ftf file with flashtool so you dont need root to flash stock roms. I don't think there is a 4.2 rom for xperia j bro. there are root tutorials in general section for rooting jb for locked & unlocked bootloaders moke sure you follow the right one.

[Q] Xperia SL firmware confusion

I have got Xperia SL LT26ii. I wanted to use Doomlord Easy Rooting Toolkit to root my device: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2366579
But in the 'Tested On' section: I saw that the firmware version is: 6.2.B.0.211
My firmware version is: 6.1.A.2.45
Would Easy Rooter work in my device without any problem?

Click to collapse
I think not...
So update to 6.2.b first

[Completed] Installing CM11 on xperia sp

I have a xperia sp and I would like to install cyanogen mod 11 on it. I wanted to install fxp cm11 but I have no idea where to start. Some guides on the internet told me I need to have root access and clockwork mod (idk what's that )yet some did not say a thing. So I hope somebody can assist me in installing Cm11.
NOTES
I am using stock xperia sp. I am able to unlock bootloader (seen from service menu ) and I am fully aware of the risk of installing cm11
ClockworkMod is a custom Recovery. It is a must for you to have a custom Recovery in order to install CM or other custom Roms.
For FXP CM 11, please follow[FXP] CyanogenMod 11 Android KITKAT 4.4 Discussion
In addition from my Collegue @R_a_z_v_a_n
First you must read this guide: [Tutorial] Xperia SP Bootloader Unlocking/Relocking and this FAQ
Second, read and follow the installation instructions from OP's dev thread.
2 threads for CM11 (actually 2 CM11):
{SP}[DEVELOPMENT] - CM11 - Android 4.4 - FreeXperia Project - from jerpelea
[ROM][DEV][4.4] Unofficial CyanogenMod 11 port for Xperia SP - from uberlaggydarwin
Both have install instructions in the first post:
