Well the only other thing I can think of besides flashing your ROM again is to reinstall the market.
Yeah as said maybe try to re install the market or maybe this?

I just recently flashed 1.3. 1.2 had the same error. If I remove it from /system/app, where would I find a fresh apk?

Open an older Rom that lists all. Take the market .apk and install it on your phone. It will overwrite what your current one is.
I am having the same issue with my Galaxy Nexus, I don't think it's app related but the change over from Google Checkout to Google Wallet.
I've been able to purchase and download apps just fine until they changed me over today. Now I can purchase apps but they won't download afterwards. It accepts the payment but stalls at the download part. I tried buying a different game and the same thing happens (although I managed to refund in time knowing the issue this time). Free apps download just fine and everything else appears ok.
Worst part is the 15 mins were long gone after I tried installing it for the 40th time.
Did you also get some message about Google Wallet notifying you when the transaction goes through?

Did you go here and verify that your credit card info still intact? and with enough credit?

Yeah, I verified (and even re-entered) my credit card info and called to make sure there's plenty of credit on the card. I just bought an app yesterday no problem, and it wasn't with the Google Wallet account but Checkout... the issue seems to have started since getting the 'Google Wallet' info in the Market instead.

My card has plenty of credit. It doesn't even buy the app-just instantly gives an error.

I am trying to buy an app from the market, but it tells me there is an error. I cleared cache, wiped app data, checked my cc info from my computer. I can buy stuff via my pc, but not my phone. Thoughts? Suggestions?

I Have no options to downgrade or remove updates. I can disable and reenable it, Which makes me accept terms and conditions again but still gives me an error code when trying to buy something

you might want to grab an older version of the market app from somewhere, there are plenty of Gapps packages available on the internet.
It's what worked for me when i couldn't install anything from the market. Restore an old backup, and re-upgrade. That fixed it.
The way I did it was through clearing the cache in settings and uninstalling updates. It worked for me after that.

Went into script manager and tried to uninstall, it wouldn't let me. It asked what I wanted to do with the file, and gave options, one is them being install, so installed vender and phonsky again. Went into apps, play was twice is normal size, had the option to uninstall updates, I did so, and cleared cache. Nothing but an error.

it would be good if you post wich error Google Play tell you, then if someone already fixed that can help you.
I've got a problem with google play, it doesn't install anymore any app, free or shareware, so i removed market and installed an older .apk found on the web, from then on, also after the re-update it started again to work. Also if your phone is rooted you can avoid the automatic update.
I hope this could be useful
Sooooo using rom toolbox, I uninstalled play. I grabbed a very old school market, it worked, but it didn't want to update to play. I junked that, I grabbed inverted market (black and blue) and still the same issue.

try to clear data on Google Services Framework the Play Store & Talk as well then restart and see what happens. Also once your in Talk after this all, make sure where it says your offline that you click on there that's when you sign in. Are you rooted? Running a custom ROM by any chance?

Yea I saw the screenshots. I use both titanium backup and rom toolbox and I've never had an issue from either no matter the rom. I prefer TB to Rom even though I own licenses to both versions. And yes matter of fact the last screenshot says COMPATIBLE if you were to look at it again.

F.Y.I I am writing this post of behalf of my sister...
Whenever my sister tries to install Facebook on her Galaxy S III from the Play Store, this message appears:
Unknown error code during application install: "-24"
She had accidentally uninstall Facebook when she tried to clear the data. Now it won't install again! Please help!
Has she rebooted her phone yet? If not have her reboot then try again. If this doesn't work then have her wipe data for Play Store Only!
