mandgeo claims the v71a version enters a bootlop when flashed. Mind if I ask where you got the source for it? Is it a modified rom of a different model?
mod by ru v9s 2.3 works on zte v71a. I've tested it again, this time letting it do his reboots (about three that seems to be a bootloop).
The inconvenient is that this is a chinese zte v9s/optik or v55 mod, and even if you change the language to english there is alot of chinese writing. From that point of view the mod discovered by the guys from htcmania is better.
Now i've told you! Please, in the future, give more details about what you are putting here. Everybody appreciates good intentions, but yours can lead to a big mess.
PS. This doesn't have Google Play!

Hello dear friends, How are you all?
After a long break, I've ported a new ROM named Xperia Z3 for Walton Primo NX or MC002.
This ROM is created by bgos10 & the team pure xperia.
All the credits goes to them.

I'm not a developer by the way, just try to port ROM's for my NX That's why it took me 2 weeks to port the ROM
I've tried my best to make the ROM bugless, but if there are small bugs please avoid them.
I'll try to provide updates made by the ROM developers

Got mine today. Amazing phone and very afordable.

Love the remarkable hardware and built quality but hate the ZTE software.
Can't wait to find developers who can develop a better ROM for this phone.

I'd love to see an official CM rom for this device. CM 12.1 working great but still has a few bugs.
How can we root this device?

There are already ways of removing Chinese apps, rooting the phone, installing TWRP and latest V1.35 rom with multilanguage and gapps. As well as installing CM.

I first tried asking for this in the IFive Air (the Haier Pad's sibling) thread, but either nobody is reading that or all Haier owners have retired. So, as a final attempt this separate plea:
PLEEEAASSSEEEE, can anybody provide me either a factory ROM or a fully working custom ROM (ex. based on the IFive Air ROMs, but with the additional camera patch zip) for the Haier Pad971 ... The site of Oma that used to provide this is gone and also Oma himself no longer seems to reply ...
