I Think they mean the HTC one s with the snapdragon s3 processor. Not the galaxy s3

Rename the jar to zip and open up with 7zip and then edit the class files

Renaming the jar to zip results in the file being called services.zip.jar.
EDIT: I have found the watermark partition. Is it just a case of deleting the line and pretending that it doesn't exist? Is there any other part of Android framework that uses the word "watermark"?

I can't answer that question because I do not actually know whether it works yet. 19 minutes left on the upload, then we will find out. (The zip I have uploaded has the jar with the watermark in it though)

Every app is free. You can choose the apps you need through aroma installer when you flash.

I'm using the desktop version right now on my laptop. The images are small and they can't be clicked on to make them bigger, which is how people normally do it.

I'm terribly sorry about that. The calibration I've given is for my Desire Z. Would someone be interested in obtaining the calibration data for your HTC Desire S?
Replace the aroma-config in this directory /META-INF/com/google/android/aroma-config with the file i've attached.
When you flash the pack with this file you will be prompted to calibrate your touchscreen. Please follow the instructions. After that you will get a result which will look like this

i have unlocked bootloader, unlocked sim , rooted and touch recovery..
i should just download the file , keep it in the root folder and flash through recovery ?

For your first custom ROM, I'd pick something a bit more modified than this. This is just a stock ROM.
Pick another such as a Team Nocturnal one, CleanROM, King Cobra etc. They have the extended quick settings, advanced power menu etc....mods that improve user experience ten fold.

Could be bad file. Delete the facebook_client apk from the /system/app directory and then install it from the market. I remember having this problem on my ROMS and that is what I had to do. It doesnt de-odex right.

Turge had to produce a 1.4.1 patch for his ROM to fix some FCs and also a Social-Network-Friendstream patch - so a few little gotchas with the ROM I guess. You could probably look at his patches to get a sense of the fixes.
I can't connect to the 4G att network here, don't have wi-fi to try out. Back to CR 4.5 again!

Did you put in the correct apn for AT&T?
This rom is a test rom that was built for the Quadcore One X before they released Jellybean for it... i figured i would port it to our One X just because its different and because i could get everything to work... there still might be some bugs but as far as i know everything works... i have not added anything special to it yet im waiting to hear feedback from all of you if you like it before i do... since its a test rom from htc some features were missing i did my best to add what was missing to make it as complete as possible.. hope some of you enjoy it

Just installed and it sat at the Beats Audio screen for a few minutes but it booted just fine. So far everything seems to be working.

Installed fine i removed all the stock apps but some seem to be hanging around must be in another location. Love some of the new sense features. . Can't wait to see what you turn this in too

Rom is performing pretty well. Got a 10382 in AnTuTu benchmark with the stock kernel. There are a decent amount of changes with sense 4.5 from widget animations to selecting which app you want pics from in gallery. Mine has the two location apps as well. In my cpu tuning app default governor was set to userspace. Doesn't seem to be any lag at all.
If this ROM is good, I'm sure once you get everything working right in the JB rom that will blow everything away.
nothing super duper fancy thought you sprint guys might want to look at this

other than being an apq8064 SOC wich means it would take probly like just the hw/ folder and system/usr/ folder to get it to boot as a port
so yes i feel it is worth posting......... really it doesnt matter on internals it matters SOC generation and as the DLX line is an apq8064 variant (so is the One apq8064ab i believe if the kernel info is correct ) that means that almost everything works but probably the sensors lib (we can most likely use ours) and the camera stuffs the rest should work
i just dont have time to screw with this right now so i figured i would post in case another dev wanted to get it up and running or mess around with the internals in any fashion

It will be better you take a backup, and then move it to system/app set the correct permissions

So I just put CM 10.1 on my Galaxy S2 and when I tried the .apk from a few different places it wouldn't work. When I used the .zip I had found it installed it but as soon as I tried to use any of the editing tools in gallery it crashed the app. With THIS .apk in your OP it replaced the camera/gallery and works perfect now. Thanks a heep!
