[Q] recover deleted video on Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 - Galaxy Note 10.1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I spend two days on recovering my accidently deleted video, but without luck.
I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (GT-N8010).
I made video's with the camera app, the video's where stored on the local sd card, no external sd card installed at that time.
I clicked wrong button using Kies Air (WiFi) and accidently deleted the video's
I quickly found out it won't work without rooting the device. So I routed it using Odin. (Never knew it was so easy)
I installed an external sd card, this to use the internal one as less as possible, preventing the video's to be overwritten
I started with Undelete, but it won't work for the internal sd, probably because it is EXT4 formatted. It's FAT only.
Next was Hexamob Recovery Pro, but it finds only some video's that are not deleted...
Disk Digger finds a lot of small video's, none of them is playable, nor by the tablet or computer (windows 7)
I found this howto: http://android-photo-recovery.com/t...deos-from-android-phones-internal-memory.html
Sounds promising, but it went wrong on the 'mass storage' option that seems to be disabled since JB. I tried serveral solutions to this (https://play.google.com/store/search?q=mass+storage+). Also I tried an xda-dev thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2023444 None of these solutions worked. Another try: http://blog.droidzone.in/2013/01/10/using-usb-mass-storage-mode-on-galaxy-note-2/ but this tut uses SManager (Script manager) which isn't compatible with my device.
I'm stuck at this point, so I hope for some kind soul at XDA to help me out (if it's even possible).
All help is greatly appreciated!

[Q] Files Transferred via USB not showing up in applications?!

hey guys, i'm desperate for help. i use my phone for literally everything, and things have been smooth up until now. none of the stock apps (music player, gallery, video player) and several other downloaded apps (real player, doubletwist) will show any of the pictures, songs or videos that are on my SD card which were transferred over via usb. these are the things i've already tried:
1. factory reset
2. different sd cards
3. formatting sd cards
4. several different file types
5. root/unroot (made no difference with it rooted or unrooted)
6. putting files on internal sd card, not external sd card
if i go under 'my files', everything is there. its just that no apps can access the stuff. please help me out guys, i'd really appreciate it. thanks!
Make sure you put the applications in the right folder of the sd card!
Make sure you have the right pivileges on your files.
can you guys be a tad more specific....

Would be interested in finding out your solution... I also had sd card problems when I was rooting my friends At&t galaxy s3
I updated my drivers and everything on my computer but it was having trouble reading the sd card. Same thing in his mac. After finally getting it rooted the main problem was that it would read the s3 sd card and let me drag over a rom to flash but within the process of copying it it would close out. From the computer point of view it appeared to not be connected but from the phones view it was connected.
Clearly this is a different problem but whoever can help with the OP sd card may be able to shed light on the problem I had... my friend still has this problem when connecting his phone to add music etc.

[Q] how to install apps to External SD. Samsung Galaxy S blaze 4G

NOW I watched the noob video.. I looked everywhere.. I have seen some things but nothing tailored to my phone. First of all, My External SD card is located in the Directory /mnt/sdcard/external_sd. I have not found anything that helps. I have seen some things about rewriting scripts and such, but not for my phone. I don't know if those will even work. My phone is rooted by Odin, latest ICS 4.0.4 build.
DOES ANYONE know of anything to help me.. the phone storage is only 1.2GB and the "USB storage" is only 1.2GB my External SD is 8GB I'll even go manual. If someone could point me in the right Direction I'll just manually move the apps to my External_sd directory. if that will even work that is.
please help and thank you for reading this and your time!

All pictures from SD card gone..

Hi guys,
Big problem here.. My sister had a problem with her phone, and
she ask me to put custom rom on it. The phone is Samasung Galaxy S3 mini.
So I told her to move here pictures to external hard disk, and she did.
I preinstalled the phone and formated the SD card to be clean.
Few days after this she called me with panic in her voice and said
that some folders that she moved from the SD card to the external drive
are empty. And When she copied the pictures she got no error message.
Just did not checked them for sure, and now very important pics are gone.
Is there any way to recover this pictures guys?
Any ideas will be much appreciated! Thanks in advance!
Recuva is Best Sotware. I have also recovered images by Recuva.
Stellar Data Recovery
Stellar Data Recovery is the best software when i need recovery operation.

Don't use the phone! Just plug out the external SD out and put it into a computer. Next download Recuva and use it's deep scan feature to scan for deleted files. This may take a while (up to 5 hours) but it's the best possible solution.
Note that not all files can be restored.

Need some Help - Please!!!

Can anyone tell me here if its possible to recovery deleted files from an SD card that was in my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge? I had video clips in my *Gallery* and then moved all of it over into a few folders that I created on my SD card inside of my phone. This being said I still had all of the clips in my *Gallery* on my phone but I take it that even though it was there in my Gallery that the actual file was located on my SD card. Well I thought by me deleting the videos from my Gallery on my phone that it would still be on my SD card and just not in my Gallery. Could anyone tell me if these files can still be recovered? I Google'd a few things and came across an app called *Undelete* from the Google Play store which I downloaded and installed and it seems like the app can only recovery image files from a cache I believe but in order to use the app fully that I need to have my phone rooted. So I then searched about rooting and just now downloaded what I believe is a root tool for my phone onto my Windows 7 computer. Please any and all help would be greatly appreciated with this.
