Absolutely no difference between a D820 and a D821 except the LTE bands they access. They share the same firmware.
There is a thread in the General section for activating one or two specific bands which aren't officially supported, but only do it if absolutely necessary.
Can u link ?
I have d820 and i need to access 1800mhz LTE

Hey all I come from the Note 4 N910 W8 model so I know for sure that was supported with T-mobile's Note 4 series.
I am just posting this to be 100% sure that the Note 5 Canadian is also supported here in the T-mobile Note 5 forums
Thanks!

Hello,
We wouldn't recommend doing that.
