I wanted to share my experience with you, recently I have download a new custom rom Cyanogen mod 10.1 rom and I had difficult time trying to fix the send sms problem, I have followed all the fixes online but none of them could solve my problem
I called the operator call center and they advised me to change the sim card and guess what??
it realy worked, although my old sim could send sms on a simple nokia device but it won't send sms on my galaxy tab 2 with CM 10.1 Rom

i'm new thet dident let me post in the developers forum so im trying to ask my question here.
here is it :
im using Htc-Desire S i like custom firmwares more than official so i was trying all the CFW then i liked this MIUI.
it just has 2 big big bugs for me
1.just and only in this CFW i can't receive or send any MMS ? just in the notification area it shows its sending(Hspda) but nothing happens all the mms i trid to recieve or send failed.i tried even another version of MIUI but the same problem.there is not any problem like this in any other rom i tried.
2.somtimes this happens : googleapps. or somthing like this stops working and an error appears(that's annoying!)
Got any idea?

Everthing works well, but when I call someone, I can hear their voice but they cant hear me, sms & 3G internet works fine.
Can anyone explain me, why this is happening, the same sim works fine in other phone, only problem in this samsung tab.

As the sim works in other phones so no problem in sim
As mic was working before using rom so no problem in mic
So problem is found in rom, so state the mic problem in the rom thread and read all comments if someone managed to solve it and try latest version of rom
Or try another rom as aokp or cm10 or romswell or cleanrom etc
Tried aokp and cm10 works fine
You could try cm10 from www.teamhacksung.org

try voice recorder app, if that app can record something that means your mic is fine (and there's a bug on the custom ROM)
Hello everybody please i need a favor please
I used a rom and it was awesome but sms didnt work on it ,so i restored my rom(last night) and sms was working well till now

And the weird thing is that it was working well yesterday , i tried everything , flashing another rom , wide data , but i cant find the problem , please help me someone
i also did the way of *#*#4636$*#* and did go to SMSC and put my carrier number but when i do the update it dosnt do anything , i tried so many time but nothing the update button work but dont wana apply i guess and they sah nothing (not even update erreur)
Please anyone can help me its so important for me to have the sms working

Just flashed above rom, looks great the only problem is i cant dial out phone says emergency calls only, google search isnt working either/

Now everything untill now is working properly but I have problem with calls I cant receive sound from the caller or
the caller cant hear me while there is no problem with the speakers the problem in the software system files.
and I dont know how to access the files and where I find them and how I fix them
Note: I tested the speakers by recording and hearing some music and stuff
Note: I called my device from my second one to test why the people cant hear me and niether me
and when I was calling I clicked on show keytab while calling and I pressed some number and oopsi heard
the clicking sound from my second device but I cant hear my voice so please help me to fix this problem thanks

Do you mean this ROM: [ROM][GT-P3100][JB 4.2.2] 24-12-2013 PSN>> Complete pureSTOCK ROM v6 by psndna88?
