It does not remove the root permissions Mate... I tried it my self on deception, Dark angle and other pre-rooted roms, it does not remove the permissions
This guide will help you make your status bar Transparent
Tested on official cm7 - feel free to try on other cyanogen based roms that support theme chooser
Note you will need apktool installed on your pc
If you don't have apktool installed you can download the files you need here

CM7 Transparent Theme
If you have apktool installed proceed to the following steps
Download the attachment & unzip contents to a folder on your pc
Place your SystemUI.apk and framework-res.apk in files_to_patch
Run patcher.bat
Select status bar tweaks and enable only transparent status bar
Edit the smali file as described in the text file that pops up
Select option build and sign
Select option to create zip files
You now have a zip file called patch.zip
Flash this in cwm to enable transparency
To actually make it Transparent you need to apply a theme with a transparent status bar
First disable wallpaper hack from adw launcher settings
Then either download a transparent Theme from playstore for theme chooser and apply in theme chooser
Or create your own theme
Goto uot kitchen http://uot.dakra.lt/kitchen
Take cyanbread.apk from the app folder of your cm7 rom & place on pc
Rename it to what you want to call theme
Upload it to kitchen (under cm7 theme in file upload)
In status bar tweaks set background transparency to around 70% Transparent and any other settings you need like carrier or footer - don't forget to generate preview once done
Make sure you have selected hdpi in statusbar tweak settings and hdpi for theme chooser preview in file upload and in file upload leave update binary on default
Then goto summary section
If everything is green create the theme
If not make sure you have clicked generate preview on status bar tweaks
kitchen will then create theme for you
Once it's done download it flash in cwm with system mounted & then apply it in theme chooser

Hi!
1. Copy Framework To System
2. Rename to framework-res.apk
3. Add RW+R+R Permission 644
4. Copy To Framework Folder
5. Reboot
6. Enjoy
Can't rename to framework-res.apk your file in system/framework folder: result: bootloop
You have to rename before move to System/framework. Copy the apk in system, then rename and fix permissions. Now move to framework folder. This might bei work!

Need for xperia z
can you please make this mod for xperia z?
hi, i want to share with you my little mod to enable all the toggles on touchwiz rom! this mod could work an ALL devices with lollipop and touchwiz rom!
Prerequisites:
- rooted device
- SQLite Editor from play store (download HERE )(it's paid app, but it's very usefull)
- 2 minutes of your time
1) open SQLite and navigate to "Settings Storage" (com.android.providers.settings)
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
2) click on it and open settings.db>system
3) scroll down to line "1705" (notification_panel_active_app_list_for_reset) (line number could be different from rom to rom)
4) click on the pencil on the top of the sceen and you will see this screen
5) now copy all the toggles that are not present into your "value" list from this list:
Code:
Wifi;MobileData;Bluetooth;Location;SilentMode;AutoRotate;WiFiHotspot;NetworkBooster;PowerSaving;UltraPowerSaving;PersonalMode;CarMode;TorchLight;FloatingMessage;SideKey;Toolbox;DormantMode;AllShareCast;MultiWindow;SBeam;Nfc;SmartStay;Sync;AirplaneMode;AdaptiveDisplay;AirGesture;AirView;Ebook;SFinder;SmartPause;SmartScroll;TouchSensitivity;SmartNetwork;ToddlerMode;Memory;DoNotDisturb;Flashlight;VoLte;
6) save and close the app, then go into notification toggles menu and click RESET
7) you will see all the toggles!
some toggles (like VoLte, SmartNetwork and ToddlerMode) may not work depending on your carrier services and proprietary functions of the carrier. Some toggles may not work depending on the mods that the dev of your rom applied on the system rom.
-----> press THANKS button if you liked this mod!! <-----
