Link for Flipkart
Guys anyone tried headsets or headphones for Atrix 2 from Flipkart.
Pls give us the link.
I am planning to buy Sennheiser Headphone.
But I dono whether this perfectly matches for Atrix 2 for listening music.
Pls reply.
Thanks in advance.
I have bought the sennheiser cx180 and it has a good balance of both bass and treble.. It actually depends a lot on your budget.. Bought em for Rs. 1600.
For good quality headphones/earphones with mic, i came across these Klipsch in-ear earphones which were compatible with android phones. They were for Rs.4 - 5k here in india.

How can they not include a set of headphones?
I have my own for music pair, they have a mic but they're in-ear so they make me talk louder than I should. I was hoping to have another pair for phone usage. :/
Anyone know of a cheap pair I could get?
I got a set, heavily discounted, of the ink'd Skullcandy (ugh) when I picked up the phone this morning. Better than nothing, and dirt cheap.
Can anyone recommend some headphones with a mic?

$45, and you can use your own earbuds.
I suggest everyone checkout head-fi.org and do a search.

I figure I'll drop some dime on the LG HBS-700 headphones. I have a friend who uses those with his Evo 4g, and they are AWESOME.

So will any iPhone compatible headset / mic combo be fully functional with the g2x?
I tried a blackberry headset and the mic did not work, while the button did control music and voice dialer.

I'm guessing no headphones and sdcard is how they got the price of the phone down to $499 off contract

a pair of cheap headphones cost at max like what, $2-$4?
I can buy an HDMI cable myself for $5. LG can probably obtain them in bulk for $2 each.
SD cards are a little more expensive, so I can understand that because they included some internal storage. But still, a 4GB card is pretty cheap. But I don't care, I have a collection of microSDs from a 512mb to a couple 8GBs. I have my 16GB inside right now.

dont forget no hdmi / mini hdmi to connect it to the phone that they are so adamant about advertising for. (not as easy to find as a normal hdmi/hdmi cable)
Got these from newegg for my Samsung Vibrant after the headphones Samsung gave me broke. So far they've been great for the price and I love the quality of the wire. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826735014&Tpk=m9p
I bought Jlab j3m earbuds from amazon and just tested them out. Sound quality is great, and the mic also works well with the g2x. 1 click of the button will pause/play the music or answer/hang up call. A long press brings up the voice dialer but it doesn't work- it gets stuck on 'starting up'.
Has anybody experienced a similar issue of a stuck voice dialer?
Maybe this can be fixed with a different rom?
I'm using a pair of nuforce ne8 that I bought from Amazon for 50. These headphones sound great and has lasted 2 years and counting. Hope this helps

I agree. I'd rather not have to be forced to pay for cheap headphones or a dinky 2-4GB card anyway since most people like me would upgrade to something bigger and better.
The dual cores make this piece of hardware pretty pricey ..
anybody experiencing similar issue?

Go to monoprice.com and search for "micro hdmi". They have many lengths and prices are great.
I'm still unsure which headphones (with integrated mic, non-BT) to get. :/

OH PLEASE ! stop making excuses for these cheap mo fo's... no excuse for not having a sd card and or head phones! it probably costs lg 10$ to make this phone.
its the way of the future m'boy! everything is made in china with the cheapest of the cheap, and amenities are a thing of the past.
BUT...I am loving my g2x so far, even though the whole no sd card or earphones, is bs. thats like wsamsung not including a flash on the GS...whats up with that?
but so far most of the other complaints have not appeared on my g2x runs sweet. I did end up sticking a C4 16gb card inside, and that did seem to help a lot!
rooted FTW!

Can you successfully use voice dialer with it? Has anybody used voice dialer with wired headphones?
How many people actually use the cheap headphones iPods and cell phones come with? Go to the 99 cents store and those are the quality that comes with most cell phones.
You should buy some decent headphones that will last you through several cell phones. The Klipsch IMAGE S4 is very good. Pricey but you will hear sounds and bass you can't hear with cheap ones. I had Shures and other ones but the Klipsch is my favorite ones.

Here you go :-
SKULLCANDY has great bass but has poor treble and is of poor quality and cannot be fixed once broken
JBL is excellent but their earphones are slightly expensive. They have awesome service (trust me, I know)
SONY has durable earphones with great bass.
SENNHEISER is value for money and they have the best earphones, but only two models fit in your budget. They also have great service.
BOSE is out of your budget but has very very good audio.
APPLE earphones are awesome. Even a hardcore android fan has to admit this. The manufacturer of the iPod knows earphones pretty well. Probably out of your budget though.
Avoid bundled earphones (The ones that come with phones) as they are shrill and bad for music but good for phone conversations. HTC Beats earphones are quite good though.
Avoid Philips and Panasonic as they have bad earphones. Nothing they have is comparable to the competition. But, they are quite cheap.
Ear canal earphones/earbuds are bad for your ears but sound very good. The in ear ones like the apple earphones are very good and are not as bad.
My brother is an audio technician/ audio engineer
What about these earphones
1.Sony mdr ex100lp
2.Sony xb30ex
How are they

I keep hearing that those are overpriced?
I use a Panasonic RP-HJE120E-K headphone, trust me it offers excellent sound quality. It costs Rs. 450 on flipkart.
With a few audio mods you can get professional sound quality. The only con is the wires, they are thin and look cheap, hence they easily tangle when kept inside your pocket. It has been around a month and half and they are working well.

Skullcandy's lowest price is around Rs. 650. I heard it provides sound at cost of durability, and the lack of Skullcandy's stores in India makes it difficult to replace it.

I'm looking for a good pair of earbuds for around $25-30. It'd be nice if it had working controls, but im mainly looking for a pair that will stay in my ear. I really liked my iBeats and apple 5th gen earbuds. If anyone could find me an amazon or ebay link to the genuine galaxy s3 earbuds, that would be greatly appreciated too

I completely disagree with the recommendation. Unless you want the controller, you are far better off with something like Vsonic GR02 for example. It's slightly above your budget but you also get a far superior sound.

I don't know about $25-30 but a while back I purchased the Monoprice 108320 Enhanced Bass Hi-Fi Noise Isolating Earphones and even though they don't have any controls, I believe them to be the best for under $15. The only problem is the that it's best to buy new tips and they tend to coil other than that I love and the sound quality is pretty fantastic.
These are amazing

I have Koss porta pro headphones that I bought on eBay years ago probably were closer to $50 but the ksc75 is cheaper and almost the same. For out and about when I don't want to wear ugly looking headphones I have some vmoda in ear I got on eBay a couple years ago for somewhere between $30 and $50 I think. They aren't too bad and they hold up well.

As the previous post suggests, there are no headphones in the box. I'm using a pair of HTC One headphones, dirt cheap and incredibly fantastic sound; you can get it on Amazon for only a few pounds

I can highly recommend the xiaomi pistons 2. The perfect headphones for $20!
10/10 would recommend.
hello guys i got a headphone from china which is so well build and gives so fine sound.
if you want to share this with you
http://www.gearbest.com/earphones/pp_182191.html
i got it from here because they only sell 100 % original to good prices
ah pay with paypal so you safe twice
I guess you're a child or young teenager since you bought the "Youth" model. Those probably wouldn't be the best option for the majority of XDA users, though.
In my opinion, the best Xiaomi earbuds are these http://m.gearbest.com/earphones/pp_169225.html, though I definitely would NOT buy from that site...
I bought a pair of the piston 3 lately, really good stuff for only $17. Bought 3 more for my coworkers and an extra pair as backup. Got them from geekbuying, and it shipped to me in NYC in a week.

I use the piston II inner ear phones. Awesome for the ridiculous price and a darn site better than the Seinheisers AND BOSE I have.
For headphones I use Sony MBT 10DBR
i have the piston 3 after a month the head jack comes off although everything still works fine but it looks ugly now. i would not buy them again even though they sounded great. i have the piston 2 it lasted over 6 months.
