Hi,
Having used the recommendations, on my stock 3.1 rom on my P7510, in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=37346965, regarding spoofing your device (ie
1. Rooted my device
2. Installed device spoofer from Google Play
3. Spoofed device to Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0
4. Accessed Google Pay, downloaded Sky Go
5. Logged into Sky Go, got the 'we do not support rooted deviced' message
6. Unrooted device using SuperSU
7. Restarted tab
I found that I could get to step 4 OK but when I logged into SKY GO, I get "Device is not Supported". I've tried spoofing as Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 *& Nexus 7 (and verified this with Root Checker Basic) but wondered whether I needed to actually upgrade to ICS (I'm still on 3.1) as well ? Didn't want to go to ICS because the result was a a lot of crashing and couldn't even get device spoofer to load up so I restored back to 3.1 with a backed up image

Hello everyone,
I have a problem with a Galaxy Note 2 Tablet that I hope to get help from over here.
This is a device that I received as a gift and have done absolutely nothing technical to it
except install a few regular apps like Pulse, Facebook etc.
When I got to settings to Add a new APN, the device the freezes then I have to "force close"
Every single time!
A little research made me to check whether it is rooted or not but I downloaded:
1. Titanium Backup - and it tells me it can't work because it can't get root access
2. Check Root - and it tells me the device is rooted
Why am I getting different feedback whether it is rooted or not?
If it is rooted does it have anything to do with the inability to Add new APN?
Thanks
Hi guys, i bought a galaxy tab 2 7" (p3110) and i had it running the stock fw. Everything was fine and i decided to flash it with clockwork mod and cm 10.1.3 (meaning i have 4.2.2 android version). Everything seems to work fine but the weird thing is that i cant run anymore applications which i install from apk files. I tried with so many games that i had installed and were working fine at stock fw. Does anyone of you know why they not running anymore? Is it the version of the android, something with google's license maybe (when i install apk files there is a message which informs me if i want google to check apps that i install outside of play) ?

tru to reinstall the apps/games
and for games with sdcard data, make sure the data still there
i ve installed so many different versions and although the apps/games seem to install like normal and they appear at system-apps list, every time i try to run them i get stuck in a black screen. And im sure that i have their data folders inside android/obb folder, i could run them at my stock 4.1.1 samsung galaxy tab 2 p3110
nvm i sorted it out,if some mod wants delete this thread plz
I have an old Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. I recently installed CyanogenMod since Samsung no longer supports this tablet. This ROM is rooted and when I try to run The Direct TV Genie Go app it fails saying it won't run on a rooted device. Is there any way to get this to work? I have an app called Hide My Root which works for Flixster but doesn't help for Genie Go. Any advice would be appreciated.
Hello everyone,
I just installed CM12.1 (the latest snapshot available for Samsung Galaxy S5) and I'm unable to use the Gear Manager. I tried installing it from the Play Store as well as some linked APK's, but every time I launch it I get this error:
The operating system on your phone has been modified in an unauthorised way, and is not compatible with the Samsung Gear app. Check your operating system and try again.
This is a really ****ty error message - what in my OS exactly am I supposed to check
Anyway, after some googling I've been unable to find a solution. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks!

Similar issue so < bump >
I know it isn't simply that I have rooted the phone, because when I go back to stock I root the stock lollipop and the Gear Manager still works, so it must be something in Knox or something Samsung specific that is missing from the CM ROMs
any advice would be appreciated
I am unable to login to the Galaxy Apps app (Samsung app store) on my Galaxy S6. Got the message 'You need to login again to protect your account and keep using this service. Confirm your password' (translated from Dutch, so the exact message in English could be different).
Logging in at account.samsung.com works fine.
What I have tried but without luck:
- Deleted all updates of the Galaxy Apps app and reinstalled them
- Deleted all data of the Galaxy Apps app
- Rebooted my phone, also in safe mode.
- Changed my password
Samsung S6 Edge
Android 7.0 with latest update
Galaxy Apps app version 4.2.18.2 (latest version)
Is your phone rooted?
It was rooted before, but I believe not anymore. Root Checker tells me 'Not Rooted' and Safety Net Status gives 'Passed'.
I have installed a stock ROM after root.

Since you have rooted your phone previously, you have tripped KNOX. You need Wipe all data from the device and flash STOCK FW via Odin, after this it should let you login but you won't be able to use Spay or S Health due to tripping KNOX.
Should I be able to login and use Samsung Cloud after this?
I have connected my Gear S3 smartwatch to another phone, installed the apps and watch faces, made a backup including these and would like to restore this backup on my own phone. But therefor, I need to login to my Samsung Account and access Samsung Cloud where the backup is stored.
Flashed stock firmware after a full data wipe and now I am able to login to my Samsung Account. Thanks!
