[Q] Home button on MZ601 - 4 2.2 nightly 161 - Xoom Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Have got 4.2.2 nightly 161 working on my MZ601 3G.
Everything seems to work fine except the Home button. Screen recognizes depress but no action follows.
Is this a known issue or something particular to this model?
Would appreciate some advice.

Reflash the rom. I had the same problem after flashing one of the CM7 nightlies. A wipe and reflash solved my problem.

[Q] hp bt keyboard support - android

I'm loving ics on the hp touchpad but I'm having a lot of problems with the hp Bluetooth keyboard in android. Note it's pairing up just fine but Ihave the forllowing issues.
Not all keys on the keyboard work properly, ie the shift and caps lock don't work. Notice all the missing caps in the this post. Only caps are auto entreated by the spell checker.
The soft or virtual keyboard always pops up for any input and Ihave to close it to get it out for the way.
any help in resolving these issues would be greatly appreciated.
note I'm using classicnerd v2 but I've had the same problems no matter what rom. I've installed.
Thanks
Bob
I AM USING MY HP KEYBOARD RIGHT NOW. caps work SHIFT works....most of the xtra keys on top work...i.e. volume, power button...brightness does not but search and home do work...maybe change your batteries.

[Q] wii controller xoom ICS nightly stringray

Hi All,
I have a xoom wifi / 4g lte running the unofficial ics nightly roms (currently stingray-93)
I have the wiicontroller app running and the wii control pairs just fine (output displays when buttons are pressed) but reguardless of what I selected in the settings for a default/enabled input devices, no emulators allow mapping. If I go into the emulator and click on a key to map and press and button on the wiimote it never registers that I pressed anything.
Does anyone else have this problem?
is there a solutions?
Thanks,
~Nick

[Q] GT-P3113 AOSP Flashed No Home Bar

Hi all,
I have built JB for Galaxy Tab 2 7.0" from AOSP. It boots up sucessfully, looks to be working, and by disabling the physical keyboard I can get the keyboard to work on screen.
However, the bar that is usually on the bottom of the actual touch screen is missing. It contains the home button, the back button, and I think the apps button. It's hard to navigate between apps without it.
I was wondering if anyone has encountered something similar to this? Or can suggest a direction to take?
Thanks!
What height is it set at in ROM control ( if AOSP has one )? What dpi are you running at ?
EDIT : sent you PM.

[Q] Back Button softkey broken with CM11-20150126 NIGHTLY

I installed build the 1/26 build of CM11 on my P3113 and everything is working perfectly EXCEPT the "Back Button" soft key. The last build I was running was (I think) 01/11 and it worked fine, but now no matter what I've done (cleared input setting, full pave, etc) it just won't do ANYTHING when I hit the back button.
The tablet DOES notice that I've hit the button, the highlight appears and any pull-down notification is rolled back up, but no ACTION is taken (e.g. it won't get back to the previous screen within whatever application is running).
Any ideas if this is a new bug, or something that I should be looking for?
