For WALKMAN need to deodex your firmware, put deodex, turn on the phone, wait until the phone boot, reboot into CWM, and set my port.

hello , I deodexed my stock rom and applied your mod but it still didn't work. do I need a custom Rom like gimlo to make all these mods workable. by the way I pulled apks from system and jar's from framework and deodexed them using universal deodexer v3 and flashed back the files using cwm. I don't know why this error's occur, but in logcat it shows "signature mismatch with other packages of shared userI'd". hope you can help me.

I hope your firmware is 4.22, in the first post at the top there is a link to the post with 4pda, there are all the instructions you need. Also on 4pda see in the header deodex, his place, turn the phone on again, boot into rekoveri, and put my port. For firmware versions 4.27, 0.16, the port does not work .....

Try to play a song manually using any file manager and then check......

Instruction
First make backup of ur ROM before (using CWM)
And just flash Deodex tipo using CWM
Don't forget to wipe data and wipe dalvik
Reboot

[*]suggest you make app+data back up use titanium
[*]if you want your data+app still like before you flash deodex.zip
[*]Do factory Reset
[*]And let your tipo boot in the first time after doing factory reset(just modify a little setting like your email, and apn bcause you maybe will flash deodex.zip twice)

Before you make nandroid backup(a.k.a cwm backup) i suggest you make app+data back up use titanium if you want your data+app still like before you doing this.

If singel use fw16
is this for fw ver. 16 or .22 gan? installed in fw .22 and settings always force close.
dont work on tipo dual.. do factory reset then install deodex.zip afer wipe data and dalvik... he stuck at bootscreen

How have you installed it? Just by taping on them, or by copying it in /system/app dir?

now my tipo is in icu..its say "unfortunately,keypad has stopped" in every 1 second..n need to press ok everytime..

go to "system/app" if there are .odex files for every .apk file , that means your rom is odex.

obviously u will get ur phone bricked!
there is proper method to convert ftf to a flashable zip.
try google (best friend)

You can't flash the ftp like that...but if you extract the system folder and then copy the meta-inf from any other working ROM,and then zip it,it'll work...

I think ftf is better! As the SXJ doesntbhave permenant CWM so u'll always need a pc to flash CWM so its betterr to flash the ftf using flashtool.

Nope won't affect the System, in installing the AVD Rom V1.6 update I reflashed 6 Times until I finally got the Rom Working with no errors except for the Themes
Install CWM Recovery for Xperia C2304/2305 devices
Your phone must be rooted
Dial *#*#7378423#*#* on your phone. Click service info, check software info.
-If your S1 Boot Version is 2.14.J.2.6 , 2.14.J.2.13 or 2.14.J.2.16
1) Download recovery.img from below
2) Put recovery.img to your phone's memory(not into folder)
3) Download Mobileuncle Tools from play store and open, click Recovery Update and choose your file.

-If your S1 Boot Version is 2.14.J.0.68
1- Download 16.0.B.2.16 ftf version from below.
2- Use wmshua perfect flash program to flash this ftf file

Guys pls don't pull usb cable when its stuck @ 97% pls leave for 10 to 20 so finishes 100% other wise you will miss few apps like play store etc..
also apps like sony live, sony music.I think this apps are country/region specific

NONE there are not any costum roms yet we are all w8ting for xperia c develops start their job

This is a big day for all the xperia C owners.
Wow, hats off to the people who worked really hard to do the impossible
Personelly, I think we just beat sony and mediatek
People if possible, try to spread to news of this.
Now we just need to persuade some developers to help with porting of roms and we're in business

its working I flashed converted to ftf C2305_16.0.B.2.13 rooted & installed recovery

first I flased this frm op link 16.0.B.2.6 & then converted this 16.0.B.2.13 to ftf & flased its working also the S1 version also changed.
Iam Deodexing the Rom now
