Already reboot it..nothing happen..after factory wipe just reboot it back??what effect to my tab if i factory wipe it??does the app delete or what??thnks

if you factory reset it, all data present in your internal memmory will be deleted!
my advice is to backup all your content!
copy content to your pc
factory reset
wipe cache
wipe dalvic
then again copy your data back in your device
and you will have your problem solved!
if i removed ur doubts, plz hit like button

[Q] wkparks and wiping data

im sure i read somewhere that this could cause bother but i cant remember which wipe it was that was bad to do. can someone let me know (as i have it installed and may want to wipe my data at some point)
Hard factory reset (vol and power) safe?
Soft reset (android menu) safe?
Wipe via recovery safe?
Cheers
~M
Wipes in recovery and factory reset are safe.
As I can remember on ported ICS when you hold the power button while the phone is ON it displayed three options Power off, restart and Restart into recovery. The bug that caused bootloop was that Restart into recovery. But now on official ICS we don't have that problem anymore..

To do so, go to recover mode (POWER OFF+VOLUME UP+POWER BUTTON). Now, from here you can do the same.

heheh! ok ok! ill explain more! in recovery, i will do factory reset! ok. then here is no option to turn off the device. it only has reboot option. after rebooting, the apps load itself, and a new cache, data is made. My problem still exists! :crying:
Download rom manager free from the play store and flash custom recovery from there and now try to boot in recovery mode. You should have cwm recovery. Now from here do the things u wanna do and then it should work. If u flash cwm recovery from rom manager, it will still raise ur flash counter so to reset it root and download triangle away. I have a tutorial for it. See my threads.

Firstly if u have cm recovery installed.. Go to recovery, wipe data, cache n delvk cache, format Sd card n format system as well.. Then reboot the device.. If tab fails to boot, relax, go to download mode by pressing volume down key + power key, then volume up key to go into download mode n simply flash stock rom through odin.... Secondly.. Jus flash stock rom through odin.. If tab stuck at boot animation.. Go to recovery on the spot by pressing volume up key + power key.. N simply wipe data/factory reset.. Dats it..

No reason to wipe before flashing stock via Odin because it resets EVERYTHING in the process.

SIZE="4"] Try to fix it , all you have to do is, turn on the phone by holding the on button and the volume - (down) button, boot you into recovery mode, scroll down to recovery then click the power button, when it loads up, look for the option that says "wipe data/factory reset select options on this menu, then if it is there click also on wipe cache partition, then click reboot at the top. Hope this works fine for you.[/SIZE]

Did you backed up your whole data using recovery mode???
If yes than wipe your factory/data, wipe cache partition ,go to advance wipe your dalvik cache, wipe your battery stats and restore your backup
then reboot your phone its done....
and if didnt backup try to flash different rom or download stock rom for your device and flash it...

[Q] Help! My faulty TWRP erased cache and system!

I was in recovery to flash a camera mod, after I flashed the mod I went to clear cache and dalvik just like I usually do when I flash something.
It got stuck on erasing cache for TEN minutes. So I held power to reboot it. Cache was then unmountable. Then I heard if that happens it's probably TWRP's fault, and that a Factory Reset would help. So I did that, and now my /system is gone and I unmountable.
I was able to get into bootloader before, but now that I'm at home it seems I'm having trouble getting there. What are some "force"/hard reset ways to get there? When I try to hold to reboot and hold Vol UP/DOWN it stays black??? Sometimes if i just press power it boots to Google and stays. From there I try to hold power to reboot and get UP/DOWN to get to bootloader but either my timing's off or I'm doing somethign wrong?? Help!

Can u get to recovery? You will have to download a Rom on your computer and side load the Rom to your phone.

Yes but it continuously says "E:Unable to mount /cache"
I tried wiping it but it takes <5 minutes, is this normal? Can I format it in fastboot...? Or should I just use Google Factory and not ever use recovery or what?
What's the long term fix since somehow TWRP can't wipe my cache without doing something horrible, and CWM isn't official?
EDIT: Finally cleared after like 10 minutes. I managed to adb push a stock untouchced zip through TWRP.
EDIT: What the hell? I booted and my phone is just like it was before?? Somehow data survived I guess? Lost no apps, no photos... Cool i guess? /thread
I had the same problem as you and after I flash back the stock camera I can enter the system normally except the internal storge won't be mounted. do you have any idea why...and how to fix it?

Took a factory reset and restored the data, it worked fine. they should put a giant warning in the camera mod thread about this kind of things.

You can get into recovery from the bootloader.
Hold 'Vol -' then power on to get to the bootloader, press 'Vol -' to scroll down the list to recovery then 'Vol +' to select.
Thanks buddy. Got into the recovery, when I pressed on wipe cache. It would then go to a different page asking me what package to install.
Kind of like a bug, I was definitely pressing the correct one, then I tried the data factory reset, this acted like the cache wipe. It done something, then rebooted, my phone wasn't wiped.
Anyone else experienced this?

Yes definitely some bug in recovery the items don't correspond to the actions. 'Install from SD card' is in the list twice!
Nuthin' but a 'Moto G' thang
