yes it is possible .. but we have to port MTK 6589 (canvas hd ) to MTK 6577 ( a110 ) look into this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2225965 hit thanks if i helped

Not possible dude hardware differs A110 has 512RAM and MT6577chipset ,whereas A110plus has 1gb RAM and MT6599M chipset

Only 1 Thing U Will Brick Your Device.
Do u have any custom Rom for Canvas 2 plus ? Other devices have too many Roms but for device nothing special
4 custom ROMs are available in the xda. Please check
Try color os. It's the smoothest
