STORY:
MY NAME IS MICHAEL AND I AM A NEW DEVELOPER...WHEN I SAY NEW I REALLY MEAN NEW! I AM IN NO WAY AS SKILLED AS THE OTHER MAGNIFICENT DEVELOPERS THAT ARE HERE ON XDA. I AM SIMPLY DOING THIS FOR FUN AND TRYING TO BUILD MY SKILLS STEP BY STEP. I WAS FIRST INFLUENCED A WHILE BACK WHEN I HAD MY FIRST ANDROID PHONE WHICH WAS THE OG DROID AND I ALWAYS WANTED TO BUILD ROMS AND DO MY OWN THEMEING. SIMPLE FACT WAS THAT AT THAT TIME THERE WERE NO DEVS THAT REALLY WANTED TO HELP(AT LEAST FROM WHAT I SAW) SO NOW A FEW YEARS PASS BY AND I FINALLY SAW A GREAT DEV POST A GREAT THREAD ABOUT HOW TO BUILD YOUR OWN ROM. I READ IT CAREFULLY AND FOLLOWED THE STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS...AND NOW AFTER ABOUT A MONTH FROM READING AND FIGURING OUT LITTLE THINGS HERE AND THERE I HAVE FINALLY BAKED MY OWN ROM ALL THANKS TO EDGEHOOD! HE WAS THE CREATOR OF THE THREAD THAT MADE ME REALIZE THAT I COULD DO MY OWN ROM AND DO IT MY OWN WAY. HE GAVE ME CONFIDENCE IN SOMETHING THAT I DIDN'T HAVE CONFIDENCE IN. THANK YOU EDGEHOOD BECAUSE WITHOUT YOUR WORDS OF WISDOM AND YOUR DO IT YOURSELF THREAD I WOULD HAVE NOT EVEN THINKING TWICE TO TRY TO BUILD MY OWN ROM NOW WITH THAT LITTLE STORY ASIDE LET ME INTRODUCE TO YOU ALL HERE ON XDA THE AVID ROM!!!
ROM:
THIS ROM IS A COMPLETELY STOCK ROM BASED OFF OF SCROSLERS DE-ODEXED OFFICIAL JB 4.1.2 - I535VRBMB1 BASE . IT IS:
•Stock Rooted
•Zip Align
•Busybox
•ADB as root (Remount)
•Removed VZW installer

IT IS BAKED WITH SBREEN94'S KERNEL "ZEUS" SBREEN94'S SUGGEST THAT YOU USE PEGASUSQ AS GOVERNOR AND EITHER ZEN OR CFQ AS SCHEDULER...AS FOR FREQUENCIES I MYSELF USE 1512MAX 594MIN
THANKS TO ANDYBONES THIS ROM COMES WITH LIDROIDS 23 TOGGLES, ADVANCED POWER MENU+MENU TO KILL AND ON GOING WIFI NOTIFICATION(OFF) MODS!
REMOVED A TON OF BLOAT AND ONLY KEPT A FEW APPS THAT I THINK SOME PEOPLE USE DAILY
UNFORTUNETLY I HAVE YET TO LEARN HOW TO ADD AROMA INSTALLER TO THIS ROM SO SADLY YOU CAN NOT BUILD IT HOW YOU LIKE IT BUT I PROMISE YOU ALL THAT I AM WORKING ON IT...INFACT IF ANYONE OUT THERE WOULD LIKE TO HELP ME WITH THIS ROM AND GETTING SOME THEMEING DONE AND AROMA INSTALLER AND ANYTHING ELSE YOU GUYS THINK MIGHT MAKE THIS ROM BETTER I AM OPEN TO ALL SUGGESTIONS AND HELPING HANDS(PLEASE NOTE I AM NOT ASKING YOU TO HOLD MY HAND AND DO THE MODS/THEMEING FOR ME BUT YET ASKING TO GET POINTED IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION AND POSSIBLY TEACHING ME SO THAT I CAN DO IT ON MY OWN...IF YOU HELP YOU WILL BE ADDED TO MY THANK YOU'S AND YOU WILL BE GIVEN THE CREDIT YOU HIGHLY DESERVE).
WARNING: I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR WHAT YOU DO TO YOUR PHONE. BY FLASHING THIS ROM YOU ALREADY KNOW WHAT CONSIQUENCES MAY OCCUR AND ARE HEREBY TAKING FULL RESPONSIBILITY. IF YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING PLEASE SEARCH XDA FOR HELP WITH FLASHING/ROOTING. IF YOU BREAK YOUR PHONE OR BRICK IT...IT IS NOT MY PROBLEM.
PROBLEMS:
NONE SO FAR(been using it for 2 weeks) HIT ME UP IF YOU ENCOUNTER ANY.
FLASHING:
1. DOWNLOAD AVID ROM.ZIP
2. PLACE .ZIP ON ROOT OF EXT. SDCARD
3. I RECOMMEND USING TWRP
4. DO BACK UP IN TWRP
5. DO FULL WIPE(CACHE/DALVIK/SYSTEM/DATA)
6. FLASH AVID ROM.ZIP
7. AFTER FLASH REBOOT(twrp may ask you to restore root before it reboots just swipe where it says to)
8. LET IT SIT FOR ABOUT A MINUTE OR 2 AND NOW YOUR AVID!

Extras Link:-https://www.dropbox.com/s/yjodhcq2ecmt5oq/Extras.zip
Instructions for adding extras...YOU MUST ADD EXTRAS BEFORE YOU INSTALL ROM: download both ROM and Extras .zip; unzip both ROM and Extras to your computer; go into the Extras folder and check out the folders for the extras you want; copy the .apk's you want into system/app on the ROM(note: some Extras require you to also add/replace libs...libs can be found in system/lib on the ROM)(note#2: some of the .apk's in the Extra folder will require you to replace other .apk's in the ROM..just delete the same .apk that is in the ROM and replace it with the .apk you have choosen from the Extras folder); once you are done adding/replacing all the files and/or libs make a .zip folder of: boot, system and meta-inf folders; give the .zip a name and place it on the root of you ext-sdcard; since these are just apps you will not have to do a full wipe BUT WIPE CACHE AND DALVIK CACHE; then flash and your good! once i get aroma down packed then it'll be easier but for now if you want the extras just follow the guide a list of whats in the Extras folder is at bottom where "updates" is at.

He kind of said this is his first ROM, and most of the features are things a lot of other roms have. The important, more subtle part is that we have another dev on scene and although his ROM is pretty standard atm, everyone starts somewhere, even devs like synergy and paranoid, and his future work may start to bring more unique features.
Coming from someone who likes to build his own kernels from source (for fun and learning), and knowing how much work that alone can take until you get the hang of it and get your own process going, I understand his excitement of building a new ROM and getting into the dev community.
To dev: good luck to you man. I usually run rooted stock or synergy (although MOAR has been working itself in there ), so I'll be sure to comment if I find anything.

Based upon what I've read it sounds like a very simple ROM (which I've been looking for) and seems to be quite the pleaser.
I admire your efforts and hope to see more of your work in the future!

Aroma is kind of a PITA... Lol
If you don't know C then you kinda just have to read it and figure it out yourself. Go look at my updater-script and aroma-config in my META-INF folder if you wanna see how it's done.
You have me on gtalk so I can answer any questions you have

yea GOt two more project in line if no one Beats me to it but then again ill still release lol
giving this ROM a try, looks promising
it is great, i cant wait to see where else you take this rom
Checkin' in to the awesomeness.
Lovin' the venom.
Nice to get a slimmed down tricked out ROM to play with.
Much thanks man, really appreciative of the work you've put into this.
Edit to add:
Besides not having an internet browser, everything works and is in good shape. Not having a browser means Google Search doesn't search the 'net, but as soon as you install one it fixes it.
Definitely slimmed down...much, much nicer then stock. Sure beats the hell out of going through and deleting all that crap by hand.
Camera app works completely, just in case anyone was worried or was gonna go ahead and ask that question down the thread.
What Sinfamy said below about the T-Mobile name on the lockscreen is the only thing visually amiss, and the missing browser out-of-the box (which you aleady are handling) are the only two things I can see out of place.
Market works, and another browser can be gotten from there for the time being.
Stable, no problems flashing, runs great.
Makes for a great springboard to start from, and can't wait for the eventual kernel release and such to follow.
I found my ROM, lets me keep the stock camera app (which I like and have gotten used to), kills the Tmo/HTC bloat for the most part, and now i'll get much better update support then staying with the stock ROM.
Ck23, you did a good job with this and I don't really see the need to go play with any other ROMs now, this is basically what I want.
Staying tuned in for the Kernel, and the tweaks/updates that'll be following.
Gonna buy you some kool-aid, you earned it.
Looks great, can you align the carrier "T-Mobile" to the left or something so it doesn't overlap wit the notification bar?
Also you took out the official internet app can you put it back

If it's like EVERY OTHER ROM it's:
1. Download ROM
2. Reboot into Recovery
3. Perform Master Reset (wipe data/cache/system)
4. Wipe Dalvik cache under advanced
5. Choose install zip from sdcard
6. Find file and click ok
7. Let ROM installer script do its work
8. Reboot
9. Upon first boot it will take some time. Give it time for everything to get settled before you start using the phone too heavily.
Hopefully this helps. If CK wants to add anything to this, please do!
worked great thanks
disregard!!!!!!!!!!!

Any pics of the notification bar? Does "Tmobile" and recent apps still take up prime real estate, or is it cleaned up and minimal?

I present to you my AOSP Honeycomb theme (**FROST**BITE**V1.0) for p6200 and p6200L (let me know if it work on any other)
I have had the day off college so i decided it was time to get to grips with my tab as we don't always see eye to eye. haha. iv modded what ever i could find in framework & system Ul. although it looks cool now just give me some time to work on this baby
what is themed?
well....
.system ul
.notification box with transparent backing
.power control themed gray
.lock screen
.clock
.settings icon (will theme setting ASAP in black)
.messaging icon (will theme message .apk ASAP)
.notification bar is now stock black with stock 3.0 soft keys in gray/white
.battery is themed but needs work sizing etc (I may add a circle mod hmmm..)
.signal bar ripped from XOOM stock 3.1 honeycomb ROM
.launcher is themed with stock honeycomb app key but still TW (i will add the option of a stock AOSP launcher.zip but you can not add widgets
to be continued.......
what is stock?......
well....
.camera is stock AOSP with stock icon.
.browsed is stock AOSP
.gallery is stock AOSP
.music is the latest AOSP version (sooo cool)
.clock widget is stock AOSP.
extras...
you will also get in the .zip....
asus weather widget
XOOM clock widget
movie studio XOOM
Toshiba media player
and a selection of stock honeycomb wallpapers
installation.
0.nandroid then check if you have a nandroid back up then check agen haha...
1. clear data on the following before install....Browser/ clock/ launcher (it just helps prevent issues and damn force closes)
2. make sure you are deodexed and rooted
3.place **FROST**BITE**V1.1.zip on to your external SD card navigate to choose zip for SD and flash....BANG!!!....your in **FROST**BITE**V1.0
thanks me or buy me a beer
Download here: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8623715/FROST_BITE_V1.1 beta.zip
the setting will come in a update.zip also with the soft keys you see now
updates:
v1.1 beta:....uploading now
whats changed?...A) soft keys are more stock with matching screen capture and a very nice purple battery mod. you will also get AOSP stock setting with TW feel.
AOSP wallpapers are attached at the bottom to install but a faulty install in the .zip may mean you need to go to root explorer and uninstall the other one if it does not work let me know.
Disclaimer: i am not responsible if you brick your device under Google's open sauce licence. i will help you if you do something wrong but its not my fault.
if you do decide to blame me i will simply giggle at your expense haha then suggest ways for you to use your tab...drinks tray, diner mat, roofing slate...haha
Went a head and flashed your ROM on the T869 device (running deodexed rom). Screen cap below. It was charging at time of screen cap. I changed wallpaper immediately because the one the theme was very odd and very "zoomed in" looking.
I know this was not meant for this device...but its fun to try right?
Few things that don't look right.
-Lock screen orbit is a small square...that's it. You can still unlock though.
-Battery icon when device is not charging is off. It turns it into a gray spiral type icon.
-Get 3g icon instead of 4g (obvious reason why)
Again, not a problem report...just letting those know who want to play with the t869 device. I'm finding these themes are almost do-able on the T869.

thanks mate for you reply as you sed this is not for your device you were lucky not to soft brick it it only looks funny on your device as the framework files are quite different from the ones on your device so you have most probably entered a different file when it flashed hence the freaky wallpaper p.s. my new update it being uploaded in second so feel free to give it a go my friend its so much better that the older version and the battery looks cool to made it myself
i am planning on making some battery mod.zips with a big selection and next week after making this theme black i will defo start a new

p.s. thanks so much for the donations guys very much appreciated glad you all like my work
i will be working on a new theme this week but i need ideas from you all
In regards to me flashing this on T869 Device (which it was not made for)
I knew it wouldn't soft brick...been playing with the current themes offered and have flashed before. Most of the framework and system are similar enough it will boot every time...just may not look right on some things. Ive owned and flashed many android devices...so very comfortable with it.
Im in no way a dev...very wet behind the ears when it comes to theming. But the T869 device needs some love so im trying my best to learn how I can do just that...give it some love.
I greatly appreciate your work.

what tools are you using to theme at this moment?

ohhh...cool man what possessor u using?
the best software to theme is something as simple as 7-zip for opening apks and PAINT.NET for coloring and re-sizing or Photoshop for high quality themeing

I'm very fluent in Photoshop, so I will be using that for "theming". Very familiar with 7zip.

Appreciate the encouragement. I just need to do some reading and figure out all the details of doing theming.
My only thing im very unsure of yet is creating update.zips. Still have plenty of reading to do...

its very easy all you have to do is set up the kitchen you require and select the option fill in the information you want to show in the recovery log add change log and fill with apks etc... haha but you do have to write the paths out e.g. if you want something going in to system, app make a system folder and put app folder in to that one then place your required file in to it and it will pop it in their when flashed. A very easy cheats way is to copy someones META-INF file and place it in to a .zip then fill in your paths described above easy!....when you get going

ALL CREDITS GO TO PARANOID-ANDROID TEAM! I DO NOT CLAIM THIS TO BE MY OWN WORK, I JUST MADE IT WORK FOR THE DOUBLESHOT.

This is an ongoing developer project to make way for a modification that will entirely transform your device, but retain the aesthetics and the experience of your phone. I know you've seen tablet mode roms before, they change two lines in your build.prop file which you could easily edit yourself in seconds and maybe throw a keyboard in there to make it work better. It's a start, but this ain't enough. This thing has potential, but it is wasted the moment you try to stuff a full blown tablet into your poor phone. Yet we all know our high res phones can very well handle more than silly 1-column layouts. So the magic must be in between somewhere, a place that Google must have overlooked and left blank. Yes, this rom strives to drop your device into tablet mode, but it won't stop there, it will reshape and redefine JellyBean to make it all a useful addition and not just a cute novelty. we're calling it: Hybrid Mode, best of both worlds.

does anyone know the trick for making the secondary feature of the back button go away? in the pic, the down arrow is showing, as if I had the keyboard open with the option to minimize it. I have found that by going into my Wi-Fi connection and clicking on it, that the back icon is restored. however, once I lock the screen, it goes back to the secondary feature, the down button. I have tried changing settings, themes, I've shut the nav buttons off and rebooted, then restored, etc. nothing works.
Thanks for any help.

I'm running phone ui w/ nav buttons, is all. this has been set before I disable the hwkb, but I've tried it the other way. I've tried almost everything I can think of. hopefully you'll be able to see what the issue is, as I'm sure a a log cat wouldn't declare the issue, since there's technically nothing wrong.
EDIT: never mind. I didn't have the hwkb disabled. I knew I had it working once before. that fixed it, strapped.
by the way everyone, don't forget - angry birds star wars is out today!

Can you replicate it on the spot? I just set my nav buttons on but I'm on tabletUI ( which shouldnt matter ) and I'll see if I can replicate it. My first thought was because the KB issue we seem to be plagued with, but the only real way to tell would be fix the KB issue ( mattlowry has ideas ). Or just see if it will happen to me before the KB issue is resolved and depending on how and when it happens it could be narrowed down.
But I do have to ask, was a full wipe performed before flashing? And was anything restored with Titanium Backup?

Add Aroma Installer To Your Rom!

So here's the deal,
I always loved the look and feel of the sidekick 4G but I never bought one when it came out, a few months back I found an
amazing deal on a perfect condition one so I bought it right quick only to find we have very little development here.
Well Im hoping to change this as i have time, with school, work, getting married in two months, house projects,
and other development projects i have had no opportunity to sit down and really play with this phone to see if
I could even build something from source on it.
Yesterday i saw the last ROM maintainer RicAndroid (pay him respect) here almost quit due to lack of respect for all his hard work
and having little more to play with, I decided I cant let this happen. So last night I whipped together a quick Aroma Package
that can be used with any ROM here, it will flash as is now and install a select few things to your phone no matter the
ROM you are currently running.
If people desire i can make a very expansive package that could hold many modifications to your phone, but for now,
as i have little time, I hope the few developers here can take this package and apply it to the best and most slim base ROM
and make their own fun to flash fully customizable ROM.
I Will Continue Making Bigger and Better Packages Only If people Request That I Do
Click to collapse
So for now, I hope whatever devs, maintainers, cooks, whathaveyou, here will take this and make it their own
you do not need my permission, i do not require any credit in your ROM, i just hope those who still maintain ROMs here will continue
and those on the fence about learning how will take this opportunity as an easy start!
As Always, Happy Flashing!
Changelog and Download
*Please feel free to request anything specific you would like added to the next release, I wont not promise when, but it seems people will use this, so I'll make a few updates. But I would Like input on what YOU want
As always I encourage developers and the like to take this package and make it their own. Find a Rom, strip it naked, ad features to Aroma, and release to the public! Until someone moves this phone past froyo this will be the next best thing I hope! And I'm NOT promoting simple zip kanging here, be sure to ask the developer to use their ROM and give credit where do! (i dont need credit if you use these packages at all but the developers do!)

First release
Can you please describe what it does?
It just adds a bunch of APKs, including 2 launchers ADW/Zeam and then some theme stuff?
yeah of course, as of right now this is just proof of concept, I dont have the installer add much. so what you do is download, put on sd, boot to recovery, and flash it like a ROM
when you do, recovery disappears and Aroma pops up, here it will go through a bunch of options. right now this package has a couple launchers to pick from, a couple music players, and a few boot animations (probably not optimized for this phone)
it is possible to add most anything, such as in another phone i have it flashing different systemUI.apks that will modify the placement of the clock and the color, also making one that flashes splash screens (the one when you first boot phone, here its says sidekick or whatever) and this can be changed to any image.
really I dont think ill make a large package for this phone, unless a bunch of people request i do so. but my purpose is to have developers add it to their rom (a slimed to nothing rom) and have just about every app service whaterer be flashed as users choice. can also choose kernel, have it wipe phone for you, really anything that can be flashed in recovery can be flashed here
Noob explanation. Aroma installers are GUI for installing ROMs. The allow you to pick and choose what you want installed rather than forcing you to use the ROM as is then taking out what you don't want. All with a pretty user friendly interface. We have them for some things on the amaze
Sent from my HTC Amaze 4G running CyanogenMod 10.1
yes exactly, i often have long winded answers to simple questions
and for those that arent familiar dont think what i did above above is as good as it gets, really its just something i slapped together in 20mis taking parts from other aroma installers i made for other devices and changing things to work here.
and like i said i hope others will take this on and make it their own, id be happy to build some polished up ones too if everyone wants it, just dont want to spend time on anything that just will go to waste
Awesome...thanks, man! I lost my temper a while back, yeah...but I'm sticking around. This is great to see some activity here again!
Sent from my SGH-T839 using xda premium
Great I'm glad to here you're sticking around! I hope this gives you more to play with as you've done great work with ROMs thus far, this should just add one more element!
And now you won't have people in your threads asking to remove this or add that, you just give them a great stripped down base and let them choose!
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda premium
Thank you and RicAndroid for helping to keep this device going!
Wow, never thought that aroma installer would be applied with the sidekick
Wanted to make a Aroma Package myself, but the lack of time and knowledge didn't made it possible
Demkantor, I'm definitely interested in getting a fully Aroma package for the Sidekick
I would be brilliant because of all the hard work of all the devs themers, that have been there for the sidekick, would be used in your 'own personal' Rom
What Aroma Installer does : you install a Rom by choosing yourself the kernel, launcher, apps, bloatware, everything by choosing out of a list. Of course depends of what is included in the package!
edit : for all the devs out there, thank you for helping to keep the Sidekick alive.
I'll be using this at a later time, dude. For now, I'm excited to announce that I have finally fixed the Jump key bug....on my own, BTW. So, now....anyone here have any other comparisons with GOV you want to throw my way?

You should add customizations like the status bar stuff like green wifi signal usb ect
The lockscreen mods ? But by them selfs so it don't take over a tab in settings
Full fonts that have all the characters
Font sizes? (For this I have seen font size (for root users) works but its paid for an beta)
hummm the background of notification center?
Animations like opening a app it will flip or slide in or something
These are just ideas that I could think of at the moment
Sent from my SGH-T839 using xda app-developers app
Those are great ideas but by in large they would need to be ROM dependent as they would be editing the systemui.apk, like status_bar.xml files and the like
But there are some things of this sort that could be done in any ROM, no matter the base so I'll see what I can come up with.
Maybe when I get some more time I'll build a ROM with these types of things implemented so for now hopefully ricandroid or someone working on ROMs may take this up....
Anyway I'll post another package shortly, don't have time to add in everything I would like to but that just means I'll have to keep going!
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda premium
ok new aroma! check second post, this is a much larger package (over twice the size of the last) so i dint get a change to test everything, if anyone is will to run a few tests i would be very appreciative
as always, Happy Flashing!

*"THE MISSING LINK" Theme builder v1(see changelog)
BEFORE MODDING YOUR SYSTEM ALWAYS MAKE A FULL NANDROID BACKUP!!!!
I don't own this device. This is being ported over from my original project for the S2. I have successfully ported it to a total of 5 different devices with various options working depending on what's available for that device. This has been built and tested on my friends AT&T S4
It is built using vrtheme for compatibility.
Aroma installer; to theme it the way you want it.
You will literally have unlimited options!!!!
With this mod you have to ability mod certain aspects of your Theme;
You have the option to pick from
*4 Pre-built themes
or go for the

*Volume and Brightness Sliders, 27 choices
*Spinners, 27 choices
*Toggles, 15 choices (these are taking a lot to make these work from my S2, so not all are complete)

*Toggle Backgrounds, 15 choices
*Switches, 9 choices

That is all the theme option available right now. The installer has animated and still image previews for most of the choices.
Also included are the Aroma File Manager - Browse your system file with function control of "permissions", "copy, delete, move" and also "Terminal Commands"
Then there is my "Backup/Restore" script which is extremely helpful if you're a flashaholic like myself. You can save your current settings, WiFi and Bluetooth profiles as well as backup your account log in also including text, phone book and cal logs. Pick what you want to backup and restore it after you wipe and install a new ROM.
There will be more coming to this section in every update for a while!!

BUGS; I don't own this phone so it's hard to say, but I noticed from the quick test on my friends phone the toggles background wasn't picking the correct option. Anything else let me know please
1-Download and place on internal SD card (either work, just quicker loading from internal card)
2-Boot to custom recovery or your choiced
3-Flash the zip file of Missing Link you downloaded
4-Aroma Installer will run you through a list of option with multiple choices to choose from (if you're not sure what they are follow instructions to preview your choice while you using Aroma)
5-Reboot and you good, no wipe necessary, done

Thank you. Like I mentioned in the op I don't own this phone, I just put it together for a friend. Depending on the level of interest I have more, a lot more I can add. I would need willing people to test and give me some feedback and even suggestions for future releases. Hopefully this is a good start though. Let me know how things are looking. Thanks
Nice work

I use vrtheme scripts for universal compatability. Haven't really heard back anything about it not working on a particular rom so I would say your good to go on any TouchWiz 4.4.2 Kit Kat rom. It will still work on older Jelly Bean, just won't look as complete

I would like to address the missing items. The one quick test I was able to get off on my friends phone showed great success with only the toggle background not working.
What options did you choose, what did and didn't work? What rom are you running? And do you have other mods or themes add to your phone?
I'm on insane rom 4.4.4 the options where were combos of purple and green ( a few different combos just to make sure it wasn't just a combo selection or something) of signal bars stuff on the status bar toggles and such but I see y they didn't now it's bc this is for 4.4.2

Thank you for the input, very helpful. Looks like I need to do some updating to 4.4.4. Unfortunately T-mobile S5 is lagging on getting the update. If that's the only thing not working a SystemUI.apk from your rom would give me what u need. If you can post one for me and I'll look at the fix for you. Thanks again for the valuable info

Sorry I didn't get back to thank you for the apk. Busy day/night didn't get much done over here. I did review the app with my phone and it doesn't look we're too far off!! So hopefully I'll get some time to put this together properly . Have you played around with other options? working or not working?
I have seen sickness work around at it looks very good!! Awesome to have so much talent making our phone look and do amazing things!!!
Thanks again i may send a couple of small things your way to test. Appreciate it!!!

Dude no rush on anyone's account and as for testing more I havent I've have had my hands full trying a coworkers LG Venice
I cant see a preview of my choice in aroma installer. I have tryed a couple of times with going 'back' and then again 'next', but no preview of my choice. I use TWRP 2.8.0.1 repacked - black themed.

I'm still working on getting all the previews set up. All in good time my friend. Which exactly preview/previews weren't working? The important question, did your choices work?
Will this work with Imperium v12 442 nh8 with S5 mod?
Sent from my GT-I9505 using XDA Free mobile app
@stangdriver44, the only thing I have noticed is a added folder in SystemUI. It appears to contain notifications, toggles, etc. In order for vrtheme to flash pngs you will need to add the new folder.

Hi, I have some tests done today with your mega fat cool mod. [emoji33][emoji106] I have not tried everything, because there are so many possibilities! [emoji6] What I can tell you is that there are mods that do show the example, and that there are mods that show no example. Personally for me this is not a disaster, but I did this just to mention. What is more important, as yourself said, is that the mods work or not. I have tried different mods via 'make your own theme "option and not everything was installed. Maybe the problem is with the custom ROM I have, I do not know. The mods that do not work for me: all status icons and lock screen unlock effect. All others will work, I think. Like I said, I have not all been tested. Grtz. [emoji41]
